Weekend Trip to The Long Lake Wildlands

My husband and I stayed for the weekend and absolutely LOVED the property! Plenty of space, very private and an amazing view. The (mini) beach is perfect and also very private. I can’t wait to bring more of my family with next time. Matt was an amazing host and got back to me every time I reached out, ASAP. We will definitely be back!

2 nights at RV There Yet Campground

Perfect for boondocking! There is water at the rv dump as well as clean portables dotted throughout the acreage. Importantly, there is plenty of space for a relatively private stay. We were in site 101 and could hear the road quite clearly but didn’t mind, you may want to choose a deeper site. The tree plantation was perfect for a hammock! Thank you Allen and we look forward to another stay.

This site was great! Very peaceful and relaxing. It is well maintained and everything was as advertised. It is especially helpful to have firewood included. It is good, quality wood and is located close to the site. I highly recommend this site!

2 nights at Paul’s Lakeside Cottage

Paul’s cabin is nice and simple. Beautiful land and lake access. We saw loons, herons and heard lots of other birds each evening and morning. The cabin had the essentials we needed and Paul was very hospitable.

Weekend Trip to Harvest Loon Camp

I visited Harvest Loon Camp on a girls getaway late spring and knew immediately I needed to book it for a family weekend in the summer. We had a wonderful time for both visits! My kids are little (2 & 4) and loved the sandy beach and swim area. The fire pit area is well kept and we loved eating our meals in the screened in porch. It's the area is private and wildlife is abundant. We would've loved to have caught some fish off the dock but they weren't biting during our stay.

The campground was very quiet and private feeling. There was free firewood to use which was nice and we got good sleep.

This was my third time here and first time in the summer and it is GORGEOUS!!!! Would recommend to all.

2 nights at Paul’s Lakeside Cottage

Loved our time at Paul and Piper's. Their hospitality is fantastic. Plenty of room for our dog to stretch her legs. Cabin is also close to the NCT for hiking which was our focus. Wish we would've had more time - would have loved to take a sunset cruise around the lake with Paul and Piper. We hope to be back!

We had a great stay here will definitely be back, great Location great amenities. Beautiful place well stocked on everything you could need.

Weekend Trip to East Lake Ranch

Hosts truly want you to experience and enjoy the features of their property! Both sites offer quick and easy access to the dock and provided kayaks, mowed walking path which has wonderful flower aroma and perfect view of the Eagle nest and a variety of butterflies. The animals were definitely a bonus, my daughter loved feeding the pigs! Meadow site doesn't have shade except down by the dock, but has views and open play space, where as the other site is more private and tree covered, but smaller area. All directions and descriptions given by owners were 💯 clear and accurate.

We had a magical time celebrating our daughters 4th birthday at Harvest Loon. Two nights wasn't enough! A cozy cabin with just the right amount of amenities. This might have just have to become a tradition for our family 🤗

This place was perfect for my son and me. Close to fishing, Itasca State Park and some great small towns. Quiet, clean and comfortable.

Weekend Trip to Northern MN Camping & Glamping

Nice spot, will book next time I am in the area. It is close to the Tioga MTB trails and close to town which had great live bands both night. Site is easy to get to and it is good size flat spot. We fit two vehicles with trailers, no problem. Lots of room for tent camping. Nice above ground firepit with generous supply of firewood. Brand new picnic table. Was there to mountain bike so did not use the lake, but it is a short walk down the dirt road. Clean port-a-potty. Blair was really responsive with messages and provided good communication.

Amazing!! First reservation with Hipcamp and when we arrived the check-in was easy Peasy! Close to a gas station and we had a great time!

My family & I enjoyed harvest loon camp! Although we overpacked, everything was & provided for us, from bedsheets to pillows, blankets, pots, pans, mosquito spray & charcoal! The place was well cleaned & organized. It was such a cute & cozy place! Will definitely be renting again! The host was also fast at replying & accommodating!

3 nights at East Lake Ranch

Despite the rain, we were still able to enjoy the fresh air! We decided to stay an extra night this time around and now think we may have to stay 4 nights to do all we wanna do! The eagles and juveniles were fun to watch, as well as the other bird species in the area. Saw a hawk or falcon of some sort but it flew off before we were able to identify it. All in all, we had an amazing time and my dog got to meet all the animals which was extra cool. We also learned very quickly that the fish loved biting at the worms!

Rented 2 spots and had the family up, it was so peaceful and the sites a very nice sized and easy to maneuver around plus a lot to explore. I would definitely recommend! Alan is very nice and helpful, great host And hope to go again later in the summer.

The cabin and land it was on was beautiful! Felt very immersed in nature while there - you’re far from main roads so almost no sounds of traffic. Great place for a reset!
