Aisling Mountain Farm campgrounds are located in Adams MA, is directly connected to Mount Greylock state park and its miles of trails. We currently have four tent campsites throughout the year with one that will accommodate trailers up to 16' without backing up! Your campsites are only a few minutes' walk to the Gould trailhead public parking lot and many trails. Also, you have direct access to some amazing single bike paths running all through the state forest.
We are located in the Berkshires, with many attractions like, Mass MoCa, Williamstown theater, and many other places of interest.

Well off the beaten track, it's scenic, private and peaceful. Camping at Moon In The Pond Farm is a bit of heaven.
There are separate sites to choose. Around the farm, you have your own secluded spot to enjoy. (Though you may be in a field next to our Scottish Highland cattle!) Two are tent sites: the PondSide and the FieldEdge. There's one site for small/tiny RVs or Campervan. And finally there's the HiddenCabin--a bed a roof and convenience. Each has a firepit with a small grill to cook over the fire. (all firewood provided)
Our campsites are in quieter areas of the farm. One overlooks the pond, others are on the edges of different farm fields, one a cabin nearer the farmstead. All require a beautiful, bucolic trek of 150-350 yards from the roadside parking--ensuring the quiet, natural experience. During the day times, you may see or hear farm work. At night it's lusciously dark and serenely quiet. You'll hear owls hoot, frogs croak, crickets chirp, foxes yowl and coyotes howl! In June and July the fields and trees light up like Christmas with fireflies, and you'll see the stars.
During the week is the absolute best time--the local hot spots (or cooling down spots!) are much quieter, and all our campsites have reduced weekday rates. If you can, take advantage by adding a Thursday or Sunday night to a weekend stay.
We've got an awesome, easy hiking trail on adjacent Nature Conservancy land. It meanders through woodlands, around rock ledges, through wetlands (on a 600' of boardwalk) and ends at a beautiful stream and pond with a gigantic beaver dam.
Not far from here are numerous well-marked hiking trails (including the Appalachian Trail (with famous Bash Bish Falls) and several offshoots (Sage's Ravine, Race Brook Falls), Bartholomew's Cobble, Umpacheenee Falls, and others). Also in the neighborhood are opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, rock climbing, gavel-road and country-road biking, and pretty much any outdoor activity/adventure opportunity. Or... you can just chill and relax, sleep, or read the day away!
Love food? This is Farm-to-Table for real! Never so close--the table's AT the farm! Bring your cooking gear and get some of our wicked fresh organic food--veggies, chops, sausages, eggs, bacon, granola, yogurt, etc. Sear yourself up a real treat!
Very nearby, as the Berkshires is a cultural mecca, there are also numerous opportunities from many great restaurants to art, dance, music, spas, galleries, antique shops, museums, cafes and much more.
It's still amazingly quiet at the farm where the Milky Way is clearly visible.

A small family farm that has been in Dennis's family since 1914. The old county road once existed in front of our house. Where horses and wagons would stop to off load part of their load to continue up the hill. They would return to pick up the rest and continue on. Since inheriting the farm, we have moved towards sustainable farming. We follow grass fed measures while raising our sheep the poultry free ranges to control the flea and tick population on the farm. Our vegetables are grown organically. We harvest only what is needed to heat our home from the forest leaving under growth alone. Last fall almost a hundred acres, of our farm, went into land conservation protecting it from urban sprawl.

We’ve done several Hipcamps before and this I by far our favorite. The owners are very nice and are available if needed. The campsite was perfect with a large platform that can fit our huge 6 person tent. It was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed saying hello to the farm animals and going for hikes nearby. I highly recommend!

Christian was an excellent host, and we really enjoyed staying on the farm! The horses were beautiful. Only a few mins walk to drinking water and porta potty. We car camped and the camp site was the perfect size for it.

Understanding what I was getting when booking was a little confusing because Christian picks your spot based on availability at the time and uses his best judgment based on other campers. This is actually pretty cool of him, especially given, he considers the size of the group, type of vehicle, and safety of the individual possibly, but I would definitely go in without any expectations based on photos. You may not get the same campsite you see in the photos. Either way it was beautiful and Christian is very welcoming. Would book again. The area in general is very beautiful and the trails lead to Mount Greylock. Another cool thing to know if you are new to camping is there are plenty of stores nearby so if you forgot something or something unexpected happens it’s very easy to get to a department store or pick up some groceries.

This was idyllic. I needed a respite and it was better than I hoped. My site was tucked under gorgeous trees. Christian is a wonderful host, leading my car right up to the site. Then he gave me great ideas for hiking. He pointed me toward the property's waterfall by hiking up the stream and then I connected to the Gould Trail and Moser Farm Loop by crossing the stream and finding the dcr trails. Thanks Christian!

This is the dream campsite! It was quiet and secluded, and hard to leave. Set in a beautiful forest above a babbling creek with trails leading up into state forest directly out of the campsite. The host Christian and his horses were so welcoming and friendly. Will return to camp again as a base for mountain biking in the region.

Our group spent three nights camping at Camp Cozie Nook and really enjoyed our stay. It was a lovely spot for a few days. The site was clean, private, and included most of the cooking tools we needed for our stay. Your car definitely needs AWD if you want to drive right up to the site. Robyn and Dennis were gracious hosts, giving us recommendations for places to hike, swim, and eat in town. It's a great place to stay to take advantage of all the outdoor activities this section of the Berkshires has to offer.

We had a great time camping on Christian's farm. The site we stayed at was a nice private site in the woods right next to a field that our dog loved to run through and had awesome stargazing at night. Short walk to the trails at Greylock and about a 10 minute walk to Peck's Falls. Christian was a great host and would definitely recommend his farm to stay at. Also, check out the new Greylock Glen outdoor center at the base within walking distance. The volunteer gave us a tour of the center and it's history. They are working on the concessions still but nice place to look around.

Last minute decided to book a camping trip at Dominic’s Idaho site and it was the most incredible experience. This was my first time camping on a farm and seeing all the animals on site was truly magical! Dominic was a great host and walked us to our campsite and gave us a quick history of the land. Such a perfect spot to unwind, star gaze, and enjoy nature. Waking up to the cows grazing in the pasture was something really special. Will definitely be back!! !!

We loved being at Moon in the Pond!!! Dominic keeps an idyllic, lush farm and the Idaho site was absolutely beautiful and private. We woke up each morning to grazing highland cows in the pasture nearby - the site is definitely in and among the working farm and its animals. Photos don’t really do it justice. Guests who are bug bite prone like me should make sure to bring repellent for the dusk and early evening hours. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you Dominic!
