2 e-bikes and 1 mountain bike, all of which are contingent upon availability. A signed waiver is required. Minimum age is 16 years old or at the discretion of the host. They cost $25/hr. per person.
Experienced horse riders can book horse rides for $50/hr. per person. Inexperienced riders must be led using a lead rope. Signed waivers and provided helmets are required.
Our in-ground, unheated swimming pool is open mid-April to end October. $60/hr.

THE CAMPGROUND IS REGISTERED WITH MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHORT TERM RENTALS LICENSE # STR25-00075. The campground is situated in the wooded area on the back of 27 acre horse farm which is known as "The Stables at Mezza Luna." There is Wi-Fi to all the sites.
Every year in the spring there are 4-6 Thoroughbred foals born that eventually will become racehorses. They live on the farm until they are 2 years old and then they go off to begin their racing career.

Located on the ridge of the Catoctin Mountains in Frederick County, Gambrill State Park is a stunner. It’s separated into two regions, Rock Run and High Knob, the latter of which looks down upon two valleys and the northern reaches of the Shenandoah Mountains.The park features a sweet 16 miles of trails and a unique stone lodge called the Tea Room. It was originally built by the CCC in the 1930s for community events and gatherings. We are located right off of Highway 32 down a long, private paved driveway. What makes our property unique is all that it has to offer--it's an 18 acre oasis with mature woods protected by a conservation deed, lightly rolling hills, beautiful fields, wetlands, and a pond. It is not surprising to see deer and our local great blue heron on the property throughout the day. There is also a fire pit, which you are free to use. From the flat land at the bottom to the top of the mountain, this is a place where you can find a spot to sit and think, draw, paint, nap, or identify over 30 medicinal plants in their natural habitats (absolutely NO harvesting of medicinals or wildflowers!). Some areas are accessible by wheelchair, while others are not, but all areas offer something to sustain your spirit.
If you feel the need to explore the area, you are within walking distance of NotaViva Farm Brewery and Winery, 15 dirt road minutes from the new Sweet Run State Park one direction and Breaux Vineyard in the other direction. Nathan & his family welcomed us to their farm. The spot included electrical hook up, a fire pit & firewood. The farm is beautiful! Make sure to visit the distillery. Nathan will teach you a little about their family business. I walked up to the onsite cemetery. The view from up there was stunning. Hope to get to stay with Nathan & his family again in the future. Excellent hosts!

We had the best weekend getaway. Loved the views from our campsite and taking walks around the farm. Excellent hospitality and really enjoyed the the distillery tour, tasting and special barrel tasting. Great host & location. Short drive to many distilleries, breweries and wineries. Can't wait to return to visit Pathfinders Distillery in Boonsboro again as well as other new locations.

I just needed a level place with a/c to park my van near Baltimore, and Redemption Farm seemed to fit the bill. Fortunately, it was much better than that. The farmland is lovely, and the farm itself is teeming with animals. Seth is committed to endangered breeds, so everything is just a little different than what you are used to (if you've been around farms). He also sells fresh eggs and meat, which is probably lovely if you're not a vegetarian (like me).

West was a great host. He had water and firewood, waiting for us at the campsite when we arrived..
He also offered us fresh eggs!
Beautiful location! Loved watching the goats graze in the field, and we visited the many variety of fowl and the emus were fun to visit!
Perfect spot to visit nearby attractions, such as Antietum and Harper’s ferry.
Highly recommend!!

It was a very private grassy campsite and easy to find. There were no issues with crowing roosters. West left a good bit of firewood for the chilly night and two jugs of water. There was lots of space to walk off-leash with the dog towards the back of the property.

Our experience with this farm was a bit different than most people’s stays, as we’re an organization that supported a family in need by placing our transitional housing camper here for 28 days. From the moment we arrived, Seth and Stephanie were incredibly warm and welcoming, giving the family the space and grace they needed to heal and transition during a difficult time.
The farm was absolutely the perfect setting for this season of life. The open fields and natural views provided a peaceful, restorative environment that you simply can’t find in more traditional settings. There’s something deeply healing about being surrounded by nature and wide-open spaces.
The kids were entertained watching the chickens, geese, turkeys, and sheep wandering about the property. These simple joys made such a meaningful difference during their stay and created sweet memories during a challenging transition.
I would highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling through the area, but also to locals who want a new taste of their own community. This farm offered our family something truly special - a safe harbor and a chance to experience beauty and peace during a time they needed it most. Seth and Stephanie’s kindness and the tranquil setting made all the difference.

Spent the weekend camping at the Main Barn at Redemption Springs Farm and what a unique experience it was. This is a working farm with healthy sustainable and natural farming methods. There are a lot of chickens, ducks and turkeys on this farm, with a couple of chatty geese and a sheep. Seth greeted us and he and his family could not have been more welcoming. It's a working farm so you could see them out and about caring for the animals or helping people at their farm store they run (really good food available for purchase, made sure to load up before leaving, plus you don't need to bring everything with you). Seth took time out to talk to us about their farming methods, the heritage breeds they have selected and raised and what goes into the produce they sell. It's a lot of fun watching the birds wandering around the farm as they are completely free range. They'll come near your campsite but will leave you alone but have no fear of humans so you can really watch them up close. The farm is very pretty, good camp site behind the barn, there is electricity, you can use a hose pipe for water if you need it, or use their natural spring water. There's wood for sale, eggs so fresh because they were laid that morning and so on.
The location is only a few minutes from Westminster if you need city type things, but you can't tell out on the farm, you feel like you're way out in the country, no traffic noise or anything.
It was a very relaxing place to stay, will definitely return!

This was a perfect overnight weekend for the grands and us. Only an hour from DC we slept under the stars in the pasture where heritage chickens, turkeys and ducks freely roam. We ate delicious eggs and sourdough bread from their farm. Don’t miss getting tickets for the farm tour. Seth is a perfect host farmer!

This was a very peaceful place to stay. The 20 amp power suited our needs just fine. The little store on site had super fresh milk by the gallon and great snacks and treats for our dog and tons of meat options to purchase. Seth and his beautiful wife Stephanie were delightful and they have a little boy who was beyond adorable.
Added bonus: There’s a sheep that wanders around who thinks he’s a dog. His name is Aiden. He loves head scratches.
