My partner and I loved camping here w Alan and his wife. The space was a bit bigger than I thought it would be, which was helpful as our 35 ft Class A has 3 slide outs. When we arrived, there was a little more hidden route we took to get the RV parked where you have to go through taller grass. Our RV is by no means off roading ready, but we made it through with no real issues. Though I think it’s worth noting the trees did scrape our RV a bit, so if that’s a concern for you maybe take that into consideration. For us, it was no biggie but we’re also pretty chill about things like that.
Alan guided us to the spot and even walked us through how to plug into the electric and water (as it was our first time). The water is well water so that was awesome too. Alan was really responsive whenever we needed something. There was a trash can that was easy to walk to and an option to park our car on his driveway. There’s even a pool and campfire area!
Our power went out for a few days due to a huge storm. Alan went out of his way to bring out a generator for us and even plugged our RV into the power box when it came back on at 3AM. We woke up to a nice cold RV, which was a great surprise as we had communicated being concerned about our 3 animals in the 95 degree July weather.
All in all, it’s a great spot. Alan and his wife are good people. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice area with abundant atv trails.

Stayed with my 7yo son in my Tacoma with a roof mounted tent. We brought our atv’s. There was plenty of open room to ride and a trailhead with a enough atv trails to get lost in. Had a lot of fun. Hosts are nice and helpful and not bothersome. Would recommend, especially if you plan on bringing motorized toys.
I had a quick overnight stay. Alan was very communicative. The stay was nice and quiet. It was a little tough for me to find.

Dan was very helpful troubleshooting my problems, which were numerous. The neighbors were helpful too. My dog loved being free to roan the property which was conveniently located near Baltimore.

Our host was amazing friendly and helpful! Great experience!
We had a wonderful 1 week stay at Alan and Dan’s place. Alan was very communicative and answered all our questions patiently. They set us up in our camper when we arrived in a very nice spot with amazing views of the fields and the state forest. Our dogs had so much fun running free and having a blast of time. Alan and his friends were all so welcoming and even played with our pups when they had a chance. They gave us access to the laundry. The bathroom is a work in progress but we were comfortable using it for our daily purposes, had a flush toilet and shower with hot water. Alan and Dan both made sure to check on us and see if we need anything and even suggested places and trails to check out. The quiet and well secured property leads in to amazing trails which are secluded and untouched very beautiful. We are already planning to come back, so if you want to have fun and be able to enjoy the nature, this could be it.
nice host, quiet spot, has free wash/dryer and place to shower, water, electric.
Just be careful and avoid dogwood road all together otw there if you are driving something garish big like I do
other than that nice spot 10 min away from food and stores without too much traffic (like everywhere in the area)
