The farm is surrounded by other farms in the agricultural preservation program yet you are only 5 miles from stores, movies, antiques and other aspects of civilization or entertainment if needed. You can hike, bike, climb, and swim at 2 or more of these locations. Tucked Away Acres is just that, we are tucked away behind other houses. The property backs up to power lines where deer can be seen often. We offer a large fire pit, horse shoe pit, small playground, trampoline, swings, and a small zip line over the creek in the woods. Horseback riding is available on certain weekends only (weight limit of 180 lbs) for an extra charge. Type of riding depends on skill level, leadline to guided trail ride. We have a produce stand that has tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and more.

We are a small, commercial hops farm (the largest in MD) and brewery located on 24 acres in Northern Baltimore County, just minutes from the North Central Railway hiking and biking trail and Gunpowder Falls State Park. We have our own, small, private hiking trail that leads down to our wetlands area (and beaver pond). Scott’s campsite was amazing! It had all of the amenities we needed (campfire grate for cooking, unlimited wood, picnic table and benches), and the campsites had enough distance apart from each other. I didn’t get to meet Scott in-person but he was very communicative and accommodating for me and my dogs. I will definitely be coming back!

Easy to find site but definitely have an off road capable vehicle to cross the stream. Low slung sedans won't make it Camp site was clean, flat, and private. Only major criticism is easier access to the Porta John. You need to drive back across the stream to get to it as the sewer pipe cannot be used to walk across. Driving out isn't always a option with tents in the way. My other personal opinion is the fire ring could be bigger. Seemed too small for such a large site

Had a great time tent camping here! The site was the perfect size and nicely situated next to the creek and away from other sites. We had a little trouble finding our way to the site but we were in the dark 😅 had no trouble crossing the river and the area felt very safe. Would recommend!

This was a lovely place to camp. Site 1 is closest to the road, but there is very little traffic and the sounds of the running creek cover almost all noise. Probably the best I've ever slept while camping.

I love this camp site and farm. The owners are really nice, welcoming, and helpful. The camp site is awesome - plenty of space and it's right by the creek. I love that it's wooded and feels secluded, even though Taneytown is only a few minutes away. The farm and property is picturesque, especially in the fall. It's seems like something more out of a movie than real life. We will definitely be back again :)

Overall, this was a great camping spot — beautiful views and an easy walk to the river. The only downsides were that it could’ve been cleaned up a bit more (some faded signs and a little trash here and there), and our site was closer to the road than expected, so there was some traffic noise. And while not the campground’s fault, there were so many spiders! That said, I’d still be more than likely to come back — no place is perfect, and that’s part of the camping experience!

Weekend Trip to HUNTER'S PARK BY WASHINGTON, DC

Hunters Park at Mezza Luna Farm was awesome. We stayed in the T1 site. Plenty of room for multiple tents and cars. There's firewood for sale right by the site, which was very convenient. There was an outdoor sink at the site, which was nice (though in colder months the water is shut off). There's a porta potty that was very clean - maybe the cleanest portapotty I've ever seen. The farm is beautiful with lots of horses to see. You're allowed to go visit them in the stables. There's plenty of paths to walk around the property if you want to go on a hike. Keith came by to visit - very friendly and welcoming. One family in our group had a couple small children. They did fine and loved seeing the horses. Damascus is very close by - easy access to groceries if you need anything. We'll be back again!

Our stay at Bear Branch Creekside was seriously the best, start to finish! Benjamins communication was always prompt which made everything super easy. The whole site was clean and looked great. We had a blast exploring the fun well kept walking trails, and the creek was the perfect spot to just chill—plus, our son had a field day fishing! The fire pit was a major plus, especially since they had those thoughtful extra cooking grates available. We totally fell in love with the owners' dog, Hopper, too! We had such a good time in Hangtown and are already dying to go back. 10/10 recommend!
