It is a one-hour drive to Acadia National Park! ECO-CABIN. The two-room, insulated, clean and cozy cabin has an adorable front porch with two fold-out chairs and a small table. There are solar string lights that light up automatically at night. Inside you will find all new furnishings. The main room has a dining table and two chairs, a small library of local authors, games for indoor entertainment, and solar lanterns and battery-powered candles for when it's dark. The back bedroom has a new, super-comfy queen bed, two drawers, and plenty of hooks. The bed has a mattress cover and clean, fitted sheet. BRING YOUR OWN SLEEPING BAGS AND PILLOWS. This little cabin is secluded in the woods. There is a 200 foot path leading to it. On the right you will find an outhouse and outdoor shower, complete with hot water. On the left is the little cabin. On the porch is a barbeque grill with a griddle on 1 side. In the cabin you will find a double hot plate, coffee maker, tea jug with potable water, pots and pans as well as paper goods. For sleeping there is a full size bed in the loft and a pull out couch on the first floor (there is also a cot if need be). Though it is not far from the main house the cabin is surrounded by trees and is very private. Hiking trails abound in many directions. From a quick trip to the top of our Blueberry Hill to day hikes on the Coastal Mountain land trust trails. In nearby Camden, Rockland and Belfast, restaurants, shopping and galleries abound. There are many schooners and fishing trips available as well. At the end of the day, have a campfire in our fire pit. The firewood is provided but bring your own marshmallows. c

The Anchorage is a 4-acre cabins and motel property located approximately 0.5 miles south of Lincolnville, ME. This historic property has been operating for over 100 years. Recently purchased by my wife and me, it is currently undergoing a rebranding and remodel. At present, there are 4 small cottages available to rent, along with plenty of parking space for smaller RVs and vans. Cyclists passing through are welcome to reach out—we’re happy to accommodate tent camping as well. Services such as showers are limited at this time. Cottages include air conditioning, heat, and Keurig coffee makers. RV and van campers will have access to water for filling tanks, and we can accommodate 15A connections at this time. The property itself is gorgeous, offering incredible night-sky views. From the parking area, you can see Penobscot Bay in the distance. A small creek also runs through the land, attracting birds and other wildlife. The Anchorage is located just 0.5 miles from Lincolnville Beach, a popular spot for swimming, relaxing, and launching kayaks. Weekend Trip to Vana Kuti-cabin in the woods

After a night of camp tenting and a long day at the Common Ground Fair, the Vaca Kuti cabin was a luxury! A clean composting toilet, a hot shower, and a utility sink were just a short walk from the cutest little cabin with cozy decor. Inside were books, games, a mini-fridge, a tea kettle, and many other amenities. In the upstairs loft was a comfortable queen bed with sheets and pillows and warm blankets. We were too tired to have a campfire but enjoyed a hot cup of tea and a hot shower before tucking in. We both slept like rocks because the loft was completely dark and completely quiet! In the morning we enjoyed a hot cup of coffee (coffee grounds & coffee maker provided!) out on the porch while taking in the beautiful trees that surrounded us. Cannot recommend this spot enough!

We had such a wonderful time on Tina’s property! The tiny home as extremely clean and tidy, and had everything you could possibly need for a weekend away! The way she had everything laid out (from towels, to coffee, extra books, kayaks etc) was so thoughtful. The area down by the water is so peaceful and we went on a nice kayak ride. I would 1000% stay again!

Great spot for a get away. Nice cabin with a sleeping loft. Heated shower was a bonus. Very close to Camden, Rockport & Belfast. Short walk from the driveway but feels like you’re deep in the woods. Host was great.

We were pleasantly surprised by this adorable, well-kept tiny house! The area is beautiful, the lake is a short walk away, and the kayaks were a fun addition to the trip. Tina was a wonderful hostess. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay to get away if that's what you are after, but with many things to do nearby!

This little cabin was great. Clean and neat. Private. Quiet. Cozy. Well appointed. Easy to get to (subaru impreza had sufficient clearance for the dirt driveway). We saw some fun wildlife. Deer, porcupine (including a baby porcupine!), common nighthawk, pileated woodpecker, and fireflies! The firefly show was great each night. I bet the stars would be great too if the sky were clear (cloudy each evening of our trip). Great visit! Def recommend! Would love to book again in the future! 🤩

Just a few steps from the cabin is a private platform right on the lake, where we spent hours listening to the birds and soaking in the calm, natural beauty. It’s the perfect place to unwind. The property offers a perfect balance of privacy, comfort, and convenience—all at a very affordable price. It truly felt like a home away from home. Tina was so accommodating and has cute seating areas in every spot you'd love to sit and take it in including the water. Location felt off the beaten path (which we wanted) but the grocery store was only 15 minutes away. The rental came with access to some kayaks and a really cool tent with everything you'd need. This is a beautiful spot!!! It was relaxing and quiet, beautiful wild flowers and the fireflies at night! It’s a great location , we biked to Deer Ise and swam right down the road from the cabin. It’s a quaint space with everything you need. Loved the composting toilet and umbrella on the deck.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is surrounded by nature..saw birds, fox, frogs, snake, turtles. So peaceful. You can sit in the screen tent and enjoy your surroundings. Another seating area by the fire pit, plenty of wood cut and ready. Walk a short distance to another screen room on the pond, 3 kayaks, binoculars, towels, life jackets, seating, dock. This was the location for snake and fro, did not see until my daughter went looking. . Turtle was meandering down the dirt road. The cabin is small, cozy, and so well put together. All you need for cooking, bedding, towels, stove, oven, microwave, fridge, outdoor grill is right there. We will definitely come stay again. Bring a good camera and binoculars. Market 5 miles down the road is an IGA grocery with a pizza and sub shop. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
