Very unique & cozy space within peaceful & idyllic surroundings! Everything was exactly as described upon arrival to Little Valley, and I was very impressed with the attention to detail with the cabin, which was generously-stocked with all needed camping & kitchen supplies. Location is within a half-hour to several popular hiking trails around the Farmington area, but there's some fun trails on-site to explore too. I hope to revisit this slice of paradise during winter season at some point in the future - couldn't recommend it highly enough!

The peace and quiet of Valley Camp’s little get away was a welcomed retreat from the big city. Super tidy, simple and totally cozy set up with all the luxuries one could need. The diminutive wood stove seriously cranks the heat. 42 degrees outside and in 20 min it was 77!! I let the single fire burn down and was stunned to find it was 56 degrees at 7am the next morning. Clearly these folks did a great job not only in presentation but put the time and cash into properly insulating the cabin.
J and Becky couldn’t be nicer and were expeditious and helpful in their communication.
There’s no way you can find a better dollar to ease and peaceful (& tidy, efficient) ratio. Next time I’m coming through central Maine.. Little Valley’s Campsites will be on my map!

This place was a great last minute getaway to reset with nature in a beautiful and peaceful part of Maine! Jay and Becky were very responsive and helpful with any questions I had. The Connex is a unique cabin to experience and look forward to coming back again to stay!
Highly recommend and looking forward to seeing the projects on their property once they finish them.

The cabin was inviting, and everything was almost perfect. Bring extra water and power source. We want to come back to this gem.

Not far from the western mountains and the college town of Farmington, and a good location for travelers on Rte. 2. Non-potable water provided for washing, plus a solar shower bag (which might be OK in the summer) but the solar lights did not work in November so the thoughtful host(s) left portable lanterns and a flashlight. A well-designed and constructed little building, if not luxurious, with a wood stove that's good for low temperatures. I hope to stop there again.

This was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. I was welcomed with a warm fire and the setting was remarkable. I enjoyed the peacefulness of the land and the coziness of the container. I highly recommend this spot to anyone

Cabin #4 amazing! It was just what was needed for a weekend away. The woodstove kept us beyond warm. J was available quickly for a quick question and made sure that it was an enjoyable time. I can gladly say that I got way more than I was expecting and will be returning in the future.AML

J's container home exceeded our expectations. He was immediately available for our questions. The outhouse was close and the woodstove heated quickly. We enjoyed the view of the night sky through the large window.

We loved our time at camp #4! It was the perfect place to spend a cold final week of April. Very quiet, clean and peaceful. It reminded us of an Alaskan dry cabin and the shipping container design was super cool! Would highly recommend staying here any season of the year!

We had a great time! Cabin #4 is super cozy, J’s communication was excellent, and the space was well and thoughtfully equipped. During mud season it’s squishy and wet out there, but we knew what we were getting in to and had an awesome time. Highly recommend for a cozy no-fuss getaway.

Had a wonderful time in cabin #4, the converted shipping container. The many windows and natural light kept it feeling bright and airy and the powerful little wood stove kept us very warm. Enjoyed the fire pit, sitting in the sun, and the quiet wooded seclusion. Excited to return in the summer and spend more time outside and taking advantage of the beautiful area!
