We border the Clark-State Forestry. We have a small farm pond that's full of fish; no license required. Bring your fishing pole and have fun! Expect to hear chickens, guineas, pigs, dogs barking, kids playing. You may hear a tractor, lawn mower, or gator ATV go by as we are always busy doing something. Your pets are welcome, but keep in mind that this property is patrolled by two large Great Pyrenees dogs, and while they are friendly to people, they are territorial and have been aggressive towards other dogs until they become friends. For the safety of all the dogs, your pets must be contained/on a leash at least until all of the dogs can get to know each other. We are 5 miles from I-65, and 19 miles north of Louisville, KY. We are conveniently located just 1.8 miles from I-65 at the Brooks exit 121 just 3 miles south of the Louisville's outer loop for easy access to all Louisville, KY has to offer . Far enough away from the Freeway so there is no road noise. There are 2 nice golf courses within 3 miles. South Park Country Club and The Crossings Golf Course is adjacent to the park. We are located near shopping, restaurants, Churchill Downs, Downtown Louisville, the bourbon distillery trail, and many other attractions. Many are under 8 miles away. Come visit us! Daily rates for full hookup starting at $55 a night, weekly starting at $245-$33and monthly rates start at $495-$925 for the creek front with concrete pad sites. We are the only RV Park in the Louisville area offering all full hookup creek front and concrete pad sites! We also offer over-sized, pull through sites, and a combo of creek front concrete pad, oversized, hill side, and pull through sites. (All rates include tax and electric except our monthly). All sites include water, sewer, dumpster service on lot 62, lawn care and monitored security cameras in beautiful and very safe park. All sites are 50 amp, and we have 50 to 30 amp adapters for sale for a $25 fee. Currently there is limited Wi-Fi available through the park but especially near the office on lot 50, if you need it, ask the Manager to put you near it because we are trying to provide a radiation free area for our Manager and guests. Enjoy the beautiful new landscaping in this Resort like RV Park with twinkly lights that come on throughout the night and we have a beautiful winding creek with creek front sites. The park has paved roads, concrete pads. This is a big rig park that can handle coaches as large as 50 feet. Because we are conveniently located in the greater Louisville metropolitan area, please know there is a nearby train track that comes by a few times a day, but you get use to it, and we are only 8 miles from the Louisville International airport, but there is no freeway noise which can be very loud. We do not have bath or shower houses, or a pool, but we do have laundry facilities on site. There are showers within 2 miles at the Pilot gas station on I-65. We strive to offer excellent customer service, so please feel free to call if you have any issues! We have an on-site Assistant Manager. Annie is located on lot 12a, and you can reach her after you arrive by calling (502) 276-6090, or look for Annie working in the park. For long term RV guests, we require RVs to be 10 years or newer. We do give variances to some Airstream and restored classic RVs with a picture pre-approval by Management plus there is a free application see our website for an application on the banner.

Weekend Trip to Camp Escape

Cool little spot not far from Louisville Here’s the story I was driving from N.O. To Cincinnati and back - on the way up I stayed at an icky hotel - I did NOT want a repeat for return trip - I saw the cool van on Shelby’s site so I messaged her about it— the van was taken so I asked if I could car camp- she was very responsive and said yes Directions were clear and getting to the site was super easy

2 nights at Little Blue Horse Camp

My partner and I really enjoyed this little pocket of heaven. The property is well kept and if you enjoy rugged camping you will surely enjoy it here! The cabin and kitchen area is so lovely. There is a fridge and air conditioning for if you really need to cool off. The property has two perfect places to set up camp and a couple of wonderful trails that lead off of the camp itself. The neighbor off of the property has a cute dog and chickens where you can buy fresh eggs! It is so peaceful and calm at night all you can hear is the animals, the leave,the crickets,and that really loud toad but don't pay no mind to him.overall we really enjoyed are staying and we will be camping here again and did I mention this was are first time camping.

3 nights at Hidden Valley River Camp

One of the best sites we’ve visited. Hosts were extremely kind and hospitable, porta potty was very clean, all sites were clean and mown witb an easy walk to the river. Road in was a very steep incline which would be difficult in snow or ice but was fine for our van while visiting in summer. Easy drive onto all campsites once down the hill. Would definitely visit again.

Weekend Trip to Hones Pointe Campground

New favorite family spot! Nearly every site is right on or very close to the river — peaceful and beautiful. We stayed by the main pavilion (the kids picked it), and even in that central spot, we had a good amount of privacy. If you want seclusion, there are definitely tucked-away sites too. Tons for kids to do: volleyball, frisbee golf, badminton, a “hillbilly pool,” and even a surprise inflatable water slide the host set up one day! Some sites are near animals, which was a fun extra. Sites feel natural but have useful amenities like a fire pit, grill, picnic table, and trash cans. No showers, but Porta Potties are well-placed and convenient. The host was super responsive and welcoming. Great mix of rustic and family-friendly. We’ll absolutely be back—and next time, we’re bringing more family!

Shelby’s place was an absolute pleasure to stay at. We stayed at site 1 which happened to be close to the bathroom, which was incredibly clean. I’m not sure how a port a potty anywhere else would’ve smelled like death and this one smelled like flowers, like my mom’s bathroom, but I am grateful! Super clean, well kept site with TONS of privacy. Somehow 7 minutes from the closest Walmart also! We were so lucky with this stay, and I will be recommending it to anyone. My boyfriend and I got to connect and have the time we dreamed of. Book unless you’re dumb! ❤️😍😍😍

Weekend Trip to Fire pit creek side

This place checked all the boxed for us. I brought my 7 yo here and he was able to play in the creek and catch crawdads while I set up camp. Then, I helped him catch some crawdads, and we eventually took a dip in the bigger creek, which was refreshing on a very hot day. The site was also shady and private--you can see a house up on a hill if you walk onto the bridge, but it isn't close enough to see people clearly. The host was very responsive. Remember to turn your phone off of roaming (or heck, just turn it off), as it will drain the battery when you are in camp. I got service once I was back up on the road. I would come back here again, for sure.

Hones point,honestly it's great site. The little Kentucky river that is on property along the camp sites is absolutely amazing to go play in or just plain out sit alongside and listen to. Steve has done a amazing job at making the sites great. Picnic table,camp grill and fire ring. The only negatives that my wife and I have to say are these. If you're wanting peace and quiet this is not the place. At random times you would here what we belive were donkeys or livestock get excited for what seemed to be hours on end. If it wasn't the donkeys it was dogs barking no stop. And we had no cell service but that could be a carrier issue. All in all great place will probably come back with the grandbabies cause it is nice and there is a play area. All in all,it's a great place and would recommend.

My dog and I had an absolutely wonderful visit to Hones Point Campground! Steve was a very kind, flexible and communicative host. He suggested a campsite that was just perfect for us, with plenty of room to car camp & two fire pits nestled right along the river and a creek. My dog enjoyed swimming, sniffing and exploring while I fished (caught a bass), searched for fossils/treasurers and cooked over the fire. We slept well to the sound of cicadas, frogs and the babbling river. We certainly hope to return again soon. Thanks, Steve & Co. for a magical stay!
