We are nestled in the rolling fields of Berry, KY on our 75-acre private farm. We have several miles of walking, horseback riding, and ATV trails. In addition, we have a 3-stall barn, round pen, and paddock for guests traveling with horses.
We offer one RV hookup site that includes water and electrical service. We also have a secondary site with 110-volt power and water fill-up access. Primitive camping is available in a private field or down in the creekside valley.
We offer horseback riding for experienced riders, as well as lessons for those who want to learn. We also have an emu on the property!

Come stay at Middle Fork Camp: two acres of grass and eleven acres of wooded hillside overlooking a valley meadow in the Daniel Boone National Forest region. Just forty minutes from the Red River Gorge and past homesite of pioneer settlers, the property features an outdoor kitchen, potable spring water, an outdoor shower, WiFi, and 110V and RV-type electric outlets. There is a yoga deck, picnic table, and wood benches with stone ring fireplaces for your use. Help yourself to vegetables from the veggie patch in season!
There are ample hiking and trail running opportunities from the site, starting right behind the (private) A-frame cabin, up and over the limestone cliffs or out the gravel road. I have established hiking/running trail loops to scenic points ranging from 1 - 15 miles in length and will be happy to provide detailed information, including GPS tracks upon request. Enjoy!
Note: Camp Middle Fork is a true nature area: in season there are ticks, you may see a snake, and common to this region, there is poison ivy in the woods. If you are sensitive, dress accordingly.

Pitch your tent in the back of our 60 acre farm and stay completely secluded from people. You will drive 2 miles down a chip sealed road and then almost a mile down a dirt road past where the public road ends. Stay as connected or as disconnected as you want. Our farm offers the perfect escape from the day to day race of life. If you want to get away come spend a few days with us!!! We only allow booking of one camp site at time to ensure your privacy. Upon arrival there are 2 sites to pick from(see map in photos section). Camp firewood available for purchase at the barn on your way in. Signs are in place to take you to camp sites from the address that you will receive upon booking. Can't wait for you to come spend a couple nights with us!

We tent camped for 6 nights at site 1 with 3 dogs and we enjoyed every bit of our stay! Sites were very secluded and our dogs enjoyed every bit of off leash roaming. We were able to walk to the lake (located at site 2) and throw lines in but it may be a little difficult to navigate for those with mobility issues. Aaron had firewood for sale at the barn in the front of the camp entrance and we had no issues with anything. It was a little difficult to drive to site 2 when we first arrived due to slick spots from rain but when it dried it was much more accessible. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and would def recommend if you are looking for seclusion as well as space for your dogs to free roam.

We had a really great time. There’s lots of nature to see lots of trails to walk 200 acres to explore, although you have to be careful of the nettles. Josh is a great host when we got there the road had been washed out and he was repairing that spent two days at least doing that and created another path so we can get to our site and make sure we had dry wood to burn. It is very remote, but if you’re prepared for that, it’s a great time in the view is absolutely stunning and there’s no traffic to be heard. The lightning bugs are glorious. Top-notch experience.

Loved that it is lesbian friendly with great land to campout on. We were so inspired by the field we camped next to the we danced and sang the sun down. Laura was friendly and quick to respond to our texts. In spite of the rain we had a leisurely stay. Outdoor shower is cool if you haven't tried one. Nothing like feeling the elements directly on your skin.

We stayed at The Art Farm during a weekend event downtown. We were allowed to pick which site we wanted for pitching our tent and were very happy with our stay. Trees provided shade should it be sunny during the day. There was a fire pit which we were unfortunately unable to use due to the weather. The port-a-potties were fine and stocked with paper and hand sanitizer. The outdoor shower was lovely and the water was heated. The surroundings were beautiful and there were plenty of birds to try to spot. Bring bug spray and be sure to do tick checks, as you would anywhere these days! We'd definitely stay again were we to be in the area.

This campsite was an incredible experience. Being close to the river, you could hear and see a bunch of animals. The view of mountain around was stunning. It was even better at night when you are surrounded by fireflies dancing about everywhere. The area also had a great smell about it. I loved my stay there and highly recommend the campsite.

The property was very well maintained. We didn't even start a bonfire. There were more fireflies than I've ever seen in my life and they lit up the property. We were able to sit in our tent with the door open because there were almost no mosquitos or flies. A few beetles, sure, but no big bites due to the maintenance of the property. I loved that part. We had privacy, a beautiful property, no bugs, and a warm shower in the morning. It was really peaceful and nice.

Gypsy is very kind and the accommodations are great! I appreciate that there was a full bathroom and a place to charge my phone. I will say…keep an eye out for ticks, I slept in the hideaway spot and found more than 10 on me at one point. Use the showers to do a tick check every day.

I ABSOLUTELY loved visiting the Art Farm.
This was my very first hip camp experience and it couldn't have gone better!
Laura was extremely communicative from the very start. As soon as I booked my campsite she helped walk me through the hipcamp app. Her presence and loving nature continued throughout my stay.
When I arrived she gave me a full tour of the land and even offered to let me upgrade to the cabin if I'd like.
Her passion and love for the lush green land was palatable which made me feel very welcome and safe 😊
I was very sore from a long hike and even longer drive the 2 days before and as soon as I stepped foot on the property I felt revitalized.
The place was very well maintained and tent site even included an electrical outlet to heat water and charge my phone.
I got the best sleep of my month long journey so far there on the moss covered floor of a site I named the fairy forest which was a patch of untouched pine cedar and oak trees surrounding a cute little picnic table perfect for an enchanted tea party.
Everything was divine and felt so perfectly aligned. I must say I NEVER have I ever experienced a portable bathroom that smelled so good.
Way to set the bar on high for future hip camp hosts there Laura! 🙌
I pray my land will someday be the soul sanctuary fpr others that yours was for me.
