Super private and our hosts hospitality was superb!! Fishing was great if you’re willing to hop in the water a bit and get dirty :) 10/10

Aaron’s land was nice and he was very communicative. Unfortunately the camping area was not as expected as the “cornfield” was completely shorn down so the view from the site was of a dead brown field. Site 2 on the lake was flooded so I was unable to access the water at all.
After setting up camp I received a message that they would be planting that night so I had to leash my dog (who was pretty freaked out) and wait for the tractor tilling the field to leave for any peace and quiet.
The sunset was lovely but there was road noise throughout the night.
All in all, a pretty place but would not return.

The site is private, but unable to get the lake without making your own trail. Not accessible for kayaks. But , if you’re just wanting a place to crash for the nite. Great price and privacy. It was also very dog friendly. Able to stay off leash entire time.

My brother and I started a new tradition with our daughters. My oldest is 3 and just beginning to really.enjoy the outdoors. Our stay on the back of the farm was a fantastic way to start. Campsites are remote and we felt like we were the only ones in the world while there. The host was awesome and communicative. The lake is a little difficult to access and dining our visit the water was very high which made fishing from bank unpractical. However the overall.experience was absolutely fantastic and many good memories were made.

Aaron was awesome! I was silly and brought my mini cooper camping. When I inevitably got stuck in the mud during a winter rain shower, he came very quickly and got me out predicament. The site was beautiful overlooking the river. The site is well maintained and nice and flat for easy camp set up. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you Aaron!

My husband, dog, and myself loved this site! We stayed at camp 1 behind the cornfield. It was private and gave us a beautiful view of the night sky. We even saw some deer in the cornfield in the morning! We could let our dog off leash and she loved exploring the site.
We felt safe but secluded at the same time and would absolutely recommend this spot to others looking for a weekend getaway.

Aaron is great and super accommodating. Google maps took us right there. Firewood to buy on site was clutch. Sites were clean and exactly as described. Camping next to a corn field was spooky but a cool experience.

We had a great time at camp site #1!! We took our 3 dogs and they were able to run and play the entire weekend. The land was well maintained and we didn’t have any issues. I wish the lake was a little more accessible but we ended going to the quarry for a few hours and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this site if you’re looking for a fun relaxing weekend!

Loved staying here for a night! The sites felt very secluded and safe. I really appreciated having access to both sites and the lake. Firewood was available and there were turkeys running around when I first pulled in.
The first camp site is flatter and quieter - there is a little noise from the road across the lake and boats, but nothing too crazy. Second site is a nice little walk from the first. After walking it a couple times, I drove down to be able to swim in the lake. There is a pretty significant bump about halfway between the sites so be really slow when driving it - wouldn't recommend low clearance vehicles to drive all the way to two. Like I said before, I had an amazing time, and definitely look forward to staying here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Having access to both sites really provides seclusion and privacy. The sites were clean and in nice shape. The lake access was great and very calming. We will definitely visit again.

Aaron was a great host and also gave you complete privacy. Solo camping as a female I felt safe. A beautiful place to chill and reset. Clean and tucked away. You could very easily fish from here, or just listen to music, make a fire/have some bevs and cook dinner at camp. I threw a mosquito net over the truck bed and slept right under the stars. 2 nights.
As many have said, site 2 is on a slope but you could hang there and camp at 1, which is what Aaron suggested as you have the run of the two. I initially dropped my kayak off at one and drove back to site 1 and set up camp. Walking down to the lake at site 2 I realized it was def not someplace I wanted to put my kayak in, primarily because I didn’t want to drag it back up the steep hill through the woods after. Not saying it isn’t do-able but it looked treacherous for me. It isn’t a straight shot even though it’s not a long path, there are a few areas with a good size step down/up and exposed roots etc.
I did however find a recreation area nearby that had a swimming area and shores where it was easy to put in my kayak and they also had a boat ramp. It was maybe 10 mins and a pretty drive. (2098 Beaver Creek Boat Ramp Rd) When you enter that park the swimming and shore area where I put in, is LEFT. I kayaked here and went back to camp and no one touched any of my gear.
Walking between the sites is .13 miles, about 5 minutes on foot and a lovely stroll. The tree cover is beautiful and lots of birdwatching to be done.

Definitely private and secluded, other than boats on the lake and we’re not sure where the voices were coming from, but we didn’t feel seen. The camp by the water access is not flat, at all, but the first one is. We left camp for better water access and swimming. There are lots of places nearby. I’m spoiled from years of glamping so don’t let my review make up your mind.

We camped at site 1. It was large, mostly level and had so much shade! We drove to site 2 to access the lake. Our dogs loved running around. Very private. Nice fire pit and wood available onsite.

We loved tent camping here with our two dogs. Got to let them off leash for a bit and wander without getting in trouble. Loved every part of the site and the host was highly responsive. Highly recommend.

Beautiful area - rural, beautiful rolling farmland. Aaron was very nice - met him the day we arrived & had privacy after that. The camp sites sit at the back of the property, behind the fields. Very private. We set up at site 1 because it was flatter. Site 2 had water access but the lake was high so we couldn’t really use it. It was hot this weekend, so we ventured out and did a paddle trip on the Green River, toured Mammoth Cave & took a boat out on Barren River Lake. All within 30 min and had a great time. Spent the evenings/mornings at the campsite when it cooled off & it was great family time! Thanks Aaron for sharing your land!

This was a nice little private spot away from people. I wanted to take my dog on his first tent camping experience to a place where he wouldn’t disturb people if he barked and this spot was perfect for that. We went in June and it was quite buggy in the evening and morning, so prepare for that. Aaron was a great host, super responsive and helpful! The grass was freshly cut when we got there and wood was available for purchase. If you’re looking for a lake spot to hang out at on the shore, this isn’t the spot, but it does have a small spot to access the lake if you have a kayak. I recommend if you’re looking for a private getaway!

I am a big time camper , and this is one of my favorite places to camp by far !!! This is probably my 10th or so time staying at Aaron’s place and as always, it was top notch. Aaron always goes above and beyond to accommodate guests in any way that he can! We went on a very rainy 3 day camping trip recently and last minute inquired about dry firewood! Aaron informed us of a new offer which is THE BIG BAG of firewood , which is a huge bag of firewood that is brought down to your campsite covered and dry as a bone, and the best part is that it was unlimited! You could use as much as you want! With it being a wet weekend , we kept the fire roaring and had a great weekend ! Having one less thing to worry about and pack is definitely an appealing aspect of Aaron’s Property! If you are staying for multiple days be sure to ask Aaron about the BIG BAG!!! Also, upon leaving one of our vehicles got stuck in the mud and Aaron came and helped pull it out with a smile on his face! Can’t say enough great things about this place or about the host! Will absolutely be staying again !
