This farm has been in my family for 3 generations, the Road is named after my great grandparents. Sitting right on Barren River Lake we are at the end of a dead end chip sealed road. Come join us for a few nights and share in the little piece of suclusion that we call home. We look forward to seeing you. Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent in the back of our 60 acre farm and stay completely secluded from people.  You will drive 2 miles down a chip sealed road and then almost a mile down a dirt road past where the public road ends.  Stay as connected or as disconnected as you want.  Our farm offers the perfect escape from the day to day race of life.  If you want to get away come spend a few days with us!!!  We only allow booking of one camp site at time to ensure your privacy.  Upon arrival there are 2 sites to pick from(see map in photos section).  Camp firewood available for purchase at the barn on your way in. Signs are in place to take you to camp sites from the address that you will receive upon booking.  Can't wait for you to come spend a couple nights with us! We had an excellent stay at Aaron's Hipcamp property, Cornfield by the Lake! We stayed at Site 2, and it was the perfect weekend getaway. The lake was incredibly refreshing, especially on a the hot days, and the star watching at night was absolutely amazing. Our dogs had the best time exploring and enjoying the open space. Everything was peaceful, well-kept, and exactly what we were looking for. We had a 10/10 experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing camping trip especially with pups!

We tent camped for 6 nights at site 1 with 3 dogs and we enjoyed every bit of our stay! Sites were very secluded and our dogs enjoyed every bit of off leash roaming. We were able to walk to the lake (located at site 2) and throw lines in but it may be a little difficult to navigate for those with mobility issues. Aaron had firewood for sale at the barn in the front of the camp entrance and we had no issues with anything. It was a little difficult to drive to site 2 when we first arrived due to slick spots from rain but when it dried it was much more accessible. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and would def recommend if you are looking for seclusion as well as space for your dogs to free roam.

This was such a peaceful spot! Waking up, I could hear woodpeckers knocking on the trees, during the afternoon butterflies flew around curiously, and at night the owls hooted in the trees. The nearby lake gave the perfect scenic view for some book reading. I can say without a doubt that I recommend this spot if you're looking for serenity!

My wife, dog, and I loved this campsite. There was a lot of space and 2 campsites to choose from. Our dog did not have to be on leash and got to explore the area as well. Aaron answered any question we had in a timely manner and gave us some insight on the land before we arrived. We will be keeping this spot in mind for future camping trips.

We had an absolutely incredible time! It was beautiful beyond expectations and I was so glad that it was so secluded and just us. Definitely the best part by far. I have already recommended it to everyone I’ve talked to about it and will most definitely be back again and hopefully for a longer stay this time.

We loved camping on Aaron’s land! Both campsites are secluded and well maintained. We enjoyed the lake access, being close to Mammoth Cave, and Aaron’s hospitality! Would definitely recommend.

If you want to get away in a little corner of outdoors this is the place to go. I grew up in the country but we didn’t have a lake right there like you do here. I loved it, the stars at night, the water right next to you, we had zero mosquito bites, and beautiful surroundings. The only downside was the heat but what do you expect when you camp in July 😂. We had a blast and I definitely recommend camping here!

Easy in and easy out. This site is secluded and literally on the back side of a corner field. It was quiet and you can see the lake down the hill from site 1. Recommend for an overnight as that was how long my travel plans allowed.

Aaron’s land was nice and he was very communicative. Unfortunately the camping area was not as expected as the “cornfield” was completely shorn down so the view from the site was of a dead brown field. Site 2 on the lake was flooded so I was unable to access the water at all. After setting up camp I received a message that they would be planting that night so I had to leash my dog (who was pretty freaked out) and wait for the tractor tilling the field to leave for any peace and quiet. The sunset was lovely but there was road noise throughout the night. All in all, a pretty place but would not return.

The site is private, but unable to get the lake without making your own trail. Not accessible for kayaks. But , if you’re just wanting a place to crash for the nite. Great price and privacy. It was also very dog friendly. Able to stay off leash entire time.

My brother and I started a new tradition with our daughters. My oldest is 3 and just beginning to really.enjoy the outdoors. Our stay on the back of the farm was a fantastic way to start. Campsites are remote and we felt like we were the only ones in the world while there. The host was awesome and communicative. The lake is a little difficult to access and dining our visit the water was very high which made fishing from bank unpractical. However the overall.experience was absolutely fantastic and many good memories were made.

Aaron was awesome! I was silly and brought my mini cooper camping. When I inevitably got stuck in the mud during a winter rain shower, he came very quickly and got me out predicament. The site was beautiful overlooking the river. The site is well maintained and nice and flat for easy camp set up. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you Aaron!
