Our property, though small, is a heavily wooded, botanical dream totally geared for outdoor enjoyment & living. We have a greenhouse of tropical plants and function as a microfarm; just steps away from the ocean w/backyard chickens for fresh eggs, salad greens, herbs, fruits and vegetables grown year-round. You will find a fenced communal pool area, outdoor shower, bathroom, 2 covered porch areas, including outdoor kitchen space, minifridge, gas grill w/side burner, TV, Wi-Fi and hammock(s). This is shared space although we will always ensure your privacy and will do our best to stay out of your personal space throughout your stay. We are 420 friendly and don't mind well behaved pets as long as you assume all responsibility, are careful with them and clean up after yourselves. Quiet time 10pm-8am. The property is geared more toward adults as many of our plants are poisonous, sharp or have dangerous spines, especially if wandering off the main paths and walkways. Safety is a priority; because of this, we ask that you do not touch our plants and stay on the main paths and walkways when enjoying the property. The RV parking site has a 50 amp (30 amp adapter) RV power hook-up. There is also a 15-amp outlet (120V) at the site you can use as well. There is potable/city water hook-up, but no blackwater sewer services or blackwater dumping on the property. Your site has a dedicated shaded sitting area surrounded by bamboo and palm trees for your personal use secluded in the front yard. We're in a safe, residential neighborhood in a wonderful, unincorporated, beachside community, less than a mile to Walmart, Aldi, Walgreens, countless restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and the Indian River Lagoon. Our ocean access boardwalk does not offer public restrooms, parking or lifeguards, but there are several parks nearby that do. Weekend Trip to Swart Estate

David (our host) was great! Site was beautiful and well maintained. Our family guys trip (kids - 17,16, and 4) had a great time. We ventured to Kissimmee Prairie Preserve for a hike, which was close and easy to get to. Hot showers outside were a needed treat. All facilities were well kept and great additions. Weekend Trip to Beach Island Retreat Indialantic FL

Review Hipcamp 24.-26.5. Lisa and Derek are the best hosts, super-nice, generous, flexible and friendly. We had to push our reservation to the next day on very short notice, and they graciously accommodated that. They greeted us like friends, and treated us to super fresh fish caught by Derek the same day, and delicious eggs laid by their beautiful backyard chickens. Their yard is an oasis, a true little paradise with lush plantings, a very nice pool and inviting patio area to relax in. My personal favorite features were the wonderful outdoor shower and the little secluded seating area in the bamboo grove by "our" driveway. And, of course, the chickens ! The location is great, too, it is literally a 5 minute walk down the street to the beautiful beach, restaurants, bars and stores- the area has a lot to offer, and Lisa and Derek were happy to share their inside knowledge. We highly recommend this super- cool hip camp retreat!

This Hipcamp was just what we needed. A place to plug in and leave our rig for 2 nights. No issues maneuvering our fifth wheel into the spot and ground was pretty level. We also had no problem locating the electrical and water spout. All good!

Convenient location for an overnight or short beach stay. Just a few miles from a beautiful public beach. Also recommend visiting the Nave SEAL museum while in the area. Site had power (50A) and water with a gravel pad (so no sand!).

Even though the pictures promised more, we were very satisfied with the pitch. The issue with the plug not fitting properly was quickly resolved by the owner. There is a train track nearby that causes some noise, but we didn't notice it at night.

We took four kids and a dog to Swart Estate and had an excellent time. The property has something for everyone, plenty of space, and just the right amount of facilities. Picnic table, grill, fire pits, sink, and a bath-house made a large group gathering comfortable. David as a host runs his place like a bed and breakfast experience... but without the bed, and without the breakfast.

Our family had a great time tent camping at Swart Estate! David is star host and made us feel right at home. We picked from multiple potential camp sites on the property, and set up camp in the shade of the tree hammock. We utilized the shooting range and the archery range. We made friends with the goats and cats, and grilled out and ate in the fenced in bar area to avoid the nighttime mosquitos. The property is meticulosly maintained. And even though you feel like youre ourlt in the middle of no where, we had 5g cell signal at our camp site. 10/10 recommend, and we will be back very soon!
