The campsite is approximately 1000ft from the road but some traffic may be heard during peak hours. A Paved walking and cycling trail leads to boomba sports complex, the environmental center, and Lake Jessup in one direction and big tree park in the other. The trail is part of the cross seminole trail system.

This is the parking lot of my commercial building. It is fairly private, with no traffic other than 2 employees at the building. It's more of a staging location for something else you're looking to do, rather than a camping venue. I listed the site here because I realized there are no RV campsites within about a 20 mile radius. Why might you want to camp here, rather than Disney's Fort Wilderness?

Mount Dora is across the main street less than 5 minutes away. Our antique town is an amazing experience to explore with lots of history and complete with quaint shops and restaurants, boating and lots of things to do. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm.
We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee.
Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on.
In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us.
Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property.
Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be.

the campground is under an ancient canopy of oaks. so youll always have shade. the center of the property is unique to say the least but the campground is nature at its finest.

The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

~ We do have a chicken coop so you can expect to hear them throughout the day.
~ We are on a dead end road in a rural residential area. Super quiet!
~ Pit potty in a super cute Outhouse.
~ If you stay during the month of March, you will adore our lightening bugs!
~ Tons of mature trees so bring your hammocks.
~ We are on site and available to you when needed. Forgot bug spray or need a band-aid? We got you! Need a board game, yard game or puzzle? We got those too!

There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

Hey guys! As avid campers and adventure seekers ourselves, we know how important safe (and cost effective) space for a night or two is.
That’s why we decided to offer a corner of our own rural paradise - amongst the mature oaks, blooming magnolias and palms. We have just under 7 acres with plenty of yard to share.
It’s pretty basic space without a lot of amenities (yet), but we know you’d love it here. Our pricing reflects our humble start and we invite you to park your RV, pop open your tent and make yourself at home.
A few things you can expect…
~Wherever you decide to set up camp, we will provide a picnic table, trash can and fire pit with wood.
~We are super pet friendly so bring your furry family members and we will ensure they’re safe and comfortable as well.
~There is access to water from the main house.
~ Electricity can be provided depending on how close you set up to the house. WiFi as well.
~ We do have a chicken coop so you can expect to hear them throughout the day.
~ We are on a dead end road in a rural residential area. Super quiet!
~ Pit potty in a super cute Outhouse.
~ If you stay during the month of March, you will adore our lightening bugs!
~ Tons of mature trees so bring your hammocks.
~ We are on site and available to you when needed. Forgot bug spray or need a band-aid? We got you! Need a board game, yard game or puzzle? We got those too!
~ Want total privacy? That’s ok too!

Clean piece of land to camp on and very private. Exactly what we were looking for as we wanted a dispersed vibe but still not far from civilization. Beautiful open meadow with a patch of trees on either side. Full moon with plenty of stars to gaze at. Nice walk through the orange groves the next morning. Already on our list of sites to revisit.

Our hosts at Shiloh were wonderful, making sure we were warm and safe during an unusual cold snap and helping us find good things to see and do during our long weekend in Oak Hill. Site 420 was perfect for us! Dog friendly, private, enjoyed the wildlife next to the pond and was conveniently located for our needs. We were thankful that Tanya was able to be very accommodating with our last minute changes and needs. Highly recommended!! Two thumbs up and would stay here again in the future if in the area.

This place is perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy the outdoors. The camp sites were great for tent camping and hammock camping. Each one had a fire pit with picnic tables and an over the fire grill grate. I think one of the best things about this place was the hospitality. The host is amazing offering many great accommodation such as water, wood, farm fresh eggs from his own chickens, and much more. He also does a great job of letting you know the lay of the land and what else is available just outside the property such as hiking, fishing spots, boat ramps, grocery stores nearby, and even a cool hour long 120 acre wilderness drive. I would definitely recommend checking this place out and will also be returning myself.
