Quite and level! My whole family really enjoyed our week here. Our host was responsive and friendly, and was often outside working on her land or attending to the horses. The kids enjoyed the pool, while I liked to watch the horses. We did go to Orlando a few times for shopping and a water park.

This is a lovely spot with a bathroom and shower. More importantly, there are goats. And Jacksonvile the Dog. Be sure to check out little Tiger Lily and her white ears!

4 nights at Davis Farm

We really enjoyed staying at Lee's hip camp. It is less than an hour drive into the Orlando theme parks. Being there feels like a little country oasis amongst The condo sprawl around Orlando. The neighbors have horses. A grocery store is a short drive away. Lee is a very nice man. He helped us back into the campsite and even offered to help us set up camp. Next time we want to do the Orlando theme parks this is where we will stay.

We came out for our 1 year anniversary and had a blast! Huge fish! A zip line. Nice screened in area with chairs and a porte potty. We went adventuring in the woods which we love to do! Weekend Trip to Black Horse Resort Ranch Campground

Black horse ranch was my first time using Hipcamp and if all places are as amazing as this I will be using them all the time. Danielle and her workers were friendly and amazing. The property was huge and clean. There was so much offered. A communal Kitchen, game room, suoer nice bath house and laundry house. A POOL!! Horse stables and trails. The campsites seemed great I was in 7 right next to the bathhouse since I was in a camper van which was great for me. I also met several other people who stay there during the winter with their horses and they were so friendly. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Black horse ranch. If you are in the area or can make a trip that way please do!

1 night at Beautiful Orlando-Area Lake Camping

Short drive from universal studios. We were able to park right near the porta potty as I always have to make a run for it in the mornings. This place has so many birds! We saw a duck family, a big dancing sunbathing black loon? And a crane family! Made up of mom, dad and two fuzzy babies. This is an amazing place for bird watchers that's for sure. And no mosquitoes! We came at the end of March and would love to return someday. Thank you for sharing your property with us!!!

Love this campsite! If you are not confident you can go camping in a tent but want to try, this is the spot for you! Includes electric and bathrooms and firewood and chairs. The place is private and cozy and clean.

Weekend Trip to True Trail Farm

We were looking for a fun place to take our grandkids for their first camping experience and The Goat Farm did not disappoint! Mike and Kathryn were gracious and fun hosts. The kids loved getting to feed and play with all the animals, especially baby Tiger Lily, and hunting for bowling balls!. We might make it an annual trip so we can see the animals grow up and grow in numbers.

Weekend Trip to North Shore Relic Ranch

This place was awesome! This was my first time using hipcamp and it was a blast. The sites were nice and quant, it was real peaceful, you can walk around and hike the property at your leisure, everyone was very friendly Jimmy was awesome very communicative and got us everything we needed. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future. However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families. As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. Rennigers Antique Center is located right up the street (less than 5 minutes away) for some great picking. We are conveniently close to the Central Florida Attractions and the beach on both east and west coasts within an hour drivep. A few Campers favorite places to visit are Mount Dora Bike Trail - 2.6 miles, Kelly Park - 11 miles and Kings Landing 12 miles from farm. We offer youth day camps on various dates, pony rides and a tour of our farm animals for an additional fee. Reservations required in advance due to the other activities we have going on. In 2007, we had no idea where this adventure was going to take us. Our small urban farm was sharing our miniature animals with assisted living facilities and Neulife, where we have 3 miniature horses that live on their property. Little by little we have evolved into more of a need to share with the community and help others with the relaxing qualities our farm and animals have to offer, we want to be able to share and better educate with hands on experiences, teach kindness, patience, confidence and help others to be the best they can be. North Shore Relic Ranch tee pee

The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

It's a 100 year old house built from the wood of a church in NSB. Lifted up on a Coquina rock wall it is quite unique. There is a large secluded area where your dogs can be run. Gray Rock Cove is a beautiful 9.46 acre slice of old natural Florida. There’s room to stretch out and plenty of wildlife to see (plus some Barn Kitties who are employed as rodent control). Mostly grassy land with some old growth oaks and saw palmettos, while the back/North third of the property is a beautiful undisturbed Florida Wetlands with a small floating dock to enjoy some of the pristine scenery from. RV hookups (50a Power w/ 30a adapter, water, sewer) along a gravel RV pad, while there's also plenty of room for tent camping instead. A short drive to Mt. Dora, Eustis, Ocala, and The Villages. Easy access from the main road to reach the site. There's a 2-lane paved county road along the front of the property, with a dense greenery barrier blocking view of the road from most everywhere on the land. There is a small bathroom building with toilet, sink, and shower. No standard outlet (110v) power access other than a few outlets in the bathroom and utility room (available for phone charging if needed, but nothing high-amperage). We do have numerous water spigots sprinkled throughout the property (unfiltered well water). There's a spot for a campfire near the bathroom building and the campsite. There will be a patio table set and chairs, two plastic Adirondack Chairs near the water along with an old Jon Boat with paddles you're welcome to take out to explore the water with. It's all pretty shallow, mucky and plant filled like you'd expect a wetlands to be, but beautiful and peaceful nonetheless.
