The campsite is approximately 1000ft from the road but some traffic may be heard during peak hours. A Paved walking and cycling trail leads to boomba sports complex, the environmental center, and Lake Jessup in one direction and big tree park in the other. The trail is part of the cross seminole trail system.

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you!

Park your van/small RV or pitch your tent on our rural homestead conveniently located 1000 ft off of US Hwy 1. Nearest I-95 exit is 3 miles away. Watch rocket launches, visit nearby beaches, attend NASCAR races, see local communities, relax at Canaveral National Seashore, birdwatch at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, fish Mosquito Lagoon, or visit the amusement parks of Orlando, we are a safe and quiet location from which to stage your adventures. We have two campsites. Site 1 is a nice level, grassy campsite for tent or RV, complete with a fire ring, picnic table, and firewood. Site 2 is the Glamping Greenhouse! Not all campsites have water views, from the units, but none are more than 30 feet to the water…
We do allow cannabis smoking on our property, in the common areas outside of the tents and cabins.

We have 4 separate units on our property, including 2 cabins and 4 yurts, Each cabin and yurt is set up with only one bed, in each. We are a perfect spot for solo journeyers and couples. Larger groups can rent multiple units. We also host 3rd party retreats for up to 18 total guests.
Not all campsites have water views, from the units, but none are more than 30 feet to the water…
We do allow cannabis smoking on our property, in the common areas outside of the tents and cabins.
We offer our exclusive holistic services and Yoga, Plant Based Vegan, Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian Meal Options, Energy work and other holistic well-being services, Small Group Retreats, Boat Tours and Boat Rentals.
Use of a private vehicle is required.
The property is on a natural 46000 acre lake that is connected to The Atlantic Ocean by The St Johns River.
This location offers abundant wildlife refuge.
This can be exciting, but dangerous.
Please do not feed or approach the wildlife.
You may see alligators, snakes, otters, manatees, as well as several species of fish and birds, including, but not limited to, american bald eagles, egret, heron, seagulls, bass, mullet, crappie, bluegill and more.

There is a natural unkept pond with mucky dark water that has Lilly pads.

I really enjoyed myself tent camping on Jim's land. Directions to get there are spot on. The views were great. I seen a ton of manatee and dolphins. There's a Grocery store right down the road that makes it very convient. I'm thankful that Jim shares his piece of paradise with others. I'll be back

The space is private and fully immersed in nature. It's so peaceful. When I arrived, the host Kimberly brought in a fire pit, snacks, tiki torches, water, and several other thoughtful things in case I needed anything. Once she showed me where to camp and left all the things I could enjoy for the weekend, she honored my privacy and didn't come back again- but made herself available to text if I needed anything.
There were even chairs and tables outside to relax with. Unfortunately it was too warm for a campfire, but I do hope to be back to enjoy the spot again.

This was a great camping spot within reasonable driving distance of Playa Linda beach, Merritt Island wildlife refuge, Titusville and the Kennedy Space Center. Power is available, but no water or flush toilets, as the listing clearly explains. It is a very reasonably priced, level, well laid out site in a great location and the owners were always available, but never obtrusive - even had a fire made up and ready to light in the fire pit when we arrived.
