Weekend Trip to Bell Oaks Ranch 5 min from Beach

Taylor’s land was a clean but still natural camping experience. The horses are well kept and cute. We had to change our RV size (our 21’ RV for our 40’ Motor coach) and was no problem at all they were able to accommodate us in a bigger size spot. The area was quiet of outside noises but you can hear the animals at night, even a little owl visit us while we were cooking outside. My dogs and us felt safe and relaxed. Took us around 5 minutes to get to the beach, no traffic, no crowds. I highly recommend you to visit them and stay the night.

Bell Oaks was the sweetest spot to camp!! Clearly marked spots, amazing scenery, nice bathroom, and the cutest friendly horses! Taylor was very responsive and helpful when I had questions. Best of luck to her and her family🌳🐎🏝️

We loved our stay at Heart of Cortez. Emilie and her mom were wonderful hosts. Very kind and helpful. The space made you feel like you were part of this quaint little fishing village, yet everything you need or could want like the beautiful Anna Maria Island is nearby.

I car camped it was great. As soon as I drove up to my site the horses were right there waiting for me lol. Taylor was super nice and accommodating, great host will definitely be back in the winter 👍🏼

Me and my family loved camping in Taylor’s land. My girls loved feeding the horses. The views and Location (5 mins) from beautiful Gulf coast beaches was a Plus! I would definitely stay again

We had a group of 30 for our daughter's sweet 16th birthday and it was perfect! The kids explored the property, swam, kayaked and fished.

I loved camping at Becca and Kary’s spot, this is now my favorite camping place yet! I loved how quiet it was and serene- it felt like I was the only one there. My dog loved being able to swim in the river. Lots of time spent riverside sunbathing and reading. The porta potty was clean and convenient. The only sounds to be heard were birds and night sounds mostly, I did hear some moo’ing and a dog barking a little bit but it didn’t bother me at all… the whole weekend was SO PEACEFUL. I didn’t want to leave.

Emiliie’s place was quite en close to the island and Bradenton Beach. She was so friendly to give us a ride to the island. ❤️

Great place to stay, close to beach and town but away from it all at night. Host were great checked in with us and let us be. We had 2 big dogs and plenty of room for them.

Quiet location in the middle of an Old Florida fishing village. Many great seafood restaurants in the area. Close to the beach. We enjoyed the simple beauty of the area. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The location is perfect. Quiet neighborhood. There is a bike rental shop across the street and makes commuting to the beach easy, only 1 mile very easy and no need to to worry about the triffic or parking! I loved staying here! We had everything we needed! Free wifi too!

1 night at Costa Myakka

The property is expansive and we enjoyed walking around it with our dog. Splashed around and wasted in the water for over an hour. Dog zoomies in the water?? Priceless! We loved our tent-camping site but on our walk we saw several other nice sites and a picnic area. Next time we may rent kayaks! We were pleasantly surprised there was a port-o-john on the property, which was very clean. The only drawbacks were slight. When we stopped at the homestead to meet the host, a barking dog announced our arrival. No front door clearly visible, so it was several minutes of the dog barking non-stop and me calling out for anyone who may hear before someone came out. I may recommend training the son how to host if he is going to regularly be the greeter. We will bring a shovel next time in case there are cow patties on the campsite, as they are not removed in preparation for guests. Otherwise, we enjoyed the solitude and quiet. Unassuming place and we were left to our own devices. We will save the spot for future visits!

We continue to have a wonderful experience every time we camp at Costa Myakka!! It’s so beautiful and tranquil.. We requested firewood and Cary brought us a big bunch of great logs to burn. I highly recommend staying there!!

We had a very nice stay at Taylor's place. Everything was as described, a fine, tranquil site with everything we needed. Our kids liked especially the horses.

Bell Oaks Ranch is a wonderful place! If you want to spend some quiet weekends with R & R, or bring friends to enjoy a night of fun, sharing stories around the campfire while making s’mores, grilling hotdogs and making popcorns and lots of awesome reasons why we choose to go camping, consider Bell Oaks Ranch. We met the horses and they’re adorable!! Our camphost, Taylor was very helpful. Glad to see her again after many years! ❤️ We loved our site and we got to meet our friendly RV neighbors from Canada. It was fun walking at historic Dearborn and looking at amazing works by our Florida artists. Manasota Bay is beautiful! This is our 1st booking at HipCamp and it’s a great experience.

Such a beautiful and serene place to stay! The hosts were lovely and accommodating and we enjoyed our 2 week stay very much. The location is great being central to beaches and shopping.
