Weekend Trip to Monarch Manor Farm

Monarch Manor Farm is really a gorgeous place to camp. Site 1 and also other sites are more than spacious and the view is beautiful. Host Ricki is very nice: provided clear instructions, showed us around, let us use his boat on the pond, and even shared his delicious food with us. The site is equipped with everything we need including picnic table, trash bin (at every site), hot shower, toilet, electricity, and even wifi (video streaming with no issue). My wife and I really enjoy spending our time roaming around. Also, Monarch Manor Farm is very close to many great places worth visiting. Would definitely recommend to every camper with different camping rigs! P.S. the free range eggs are so fresh and tastes great :-)

Super bougie spot to Hipcamp! Not sure they understand the nature of Hipcamp yet - very new. We were the only pop up travel trailer. This is more of a RV park. Amenities are amazing. Guests very welcoming. No communication with host via Hipcamp once booked - did not know which site was ours, the gate code, etc. Happened to run into a guest who once worked the office and she helped us.

2 nights at Caceres Organic Blueberry Farms

My girlfriend and I arrived Thursday afternoon planning to leave Saturday, but ended up staying until Sunday. We felt so welcomed, relaxed, and secure all st the same time. Richard was a warm and accommodating host offering directions, greetings, and firewood deliveries. A great stay overall. Steaming hot showers are provided along with a beautiful sunset view from the stalls. Campsites are well maintained and grounds of the farm are pleasant. A watering hole is available on the property and was fresh and clear, room from jumping as well. Nice places to suntan. Thanks Richard for a wonderful weekend on your farm.

We had an amazing stay at this campsite! The pond was such a highlight – it was well-stocked, and my kids had an absolute blast catching fish all day long. They couldn’t get enough of it, and it made for such a memorable experience for our family. The camp host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. He always available to answer any questions and was super friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. My wife loved how peaceful it was after the sun went down. The sounds of nature – the occasional hooting of an owl, the lowing of the cows and the frogs in the pond – made for the perfect soundtrack to our evening. Overall, this campsite is perfect for families looking for a fun and peaceful getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Very nice site on the corner with a little deck. Nice trail in the to walk on in the woods. Nice campground we didn’t get to see it all. Wished we would have stayed longer. Close to Silver springs. We did check the little candy store out in front before we left.. make sure you don’t miss stopping there. Everyone there was friendly. Would like to come back and stay longer next time!

Nice tent site. Affordable. Able to park car at your site. I was the only one around, so it was pretty quiet. An outhouse and pavilion and rain barrel with water were the amenities. We have been a WWOOF host since 2011. Over 500 organic volunteers from around the world have lived and worked at the farm so we are used to creating an atmosphere of community and sustainable living. We have cleared tent camping lots for Hip Campers in front of the on-property lake with easy access to swimming and fishing. There are two solar shower stalls with hot water powered by the sun. It is specifically built to overlook the main blueberry field and peach grove. Stunning views at sunset. An outhouse / composting toilet is currently under construction with the rain water collection system now complete. In the meantime a portable toilet is provided. A potable water station is available and built from re-purposed materials and wood harvested locally. We are a working farm. We supply every Lucky's Market location with fresh turmeric and a host of stores with our blueberries. We also have an active u-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) that is available to Hip Campers. There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. There is also a boat launch on the Suwannee River just minutes from the farm for boating, skiing and fishing. Bob's River Place is minutes away.The Gulf of Mexico is just 40 miles away. It is a private organic farm owned by a Homeopathic / Naturopathic doctor and biochemist who is a nature lover, lives there and enjoys sharing the peace and tranquility with others. Pets, kids and even grandparents are welcome. The property has 40 fenced acres, private, secure and a safe place campers can enjoy. These beautiful pollinators have been on Earth about 175 million years from what we can gather from fossils. Beyond the splendor that would be lost from the world if monarch butterflies went extinct, there would be ripple effects in the environment. Monarchs share their habitat with many other species of insects and birds. The birds would lose a food source, and their decline is the proverbial “canary in the coal mine” for other pollinators. If other pollinators decline like monarchs, it could have impacts on the food that humans rely on. This year (2024) we hope to finally get the Monarch Butterfly put on the endangered species list and see them rebound in numbers.
