Our two level (full hookup) RV pads are on beautiful Anastasia Island within walking distance to the Atlantic ocean, Pier Court Park and the St. Augustine Amphitheater. Anastasia State Park is within a mile. St. Augustine is just over the Bridge of Lions three miles away.
Each pad has its own furnished patio and small green yard space. We have a small fishing lake in the back yard (unfenced). There is a national bird rookery preserve a few blocks away so the bird watching is wonderful. There is an alligator farm and a dolphin aquarium on the island., as well as a historic continuous working light house and Maritime Museum. Our pads are just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is here along with Castillo de San Marcus National Monument, St. George Street, the historic district plus many other attractions.
We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet.
Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 26' in length.
Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length.
We accept small Class A Motorhomes (34' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers.
Sorry, no tent camping is allowed.
There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard.
We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island.

Camping is easy with washer, dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, coffee pot, toaster and blender, all in an air-conditioned shed. Don't want to cook inside? Use the propane Jennair grill with gazebo and lights. Clean up is a breeze with our stainless steel triple sink and 4 gal hot water tank.
We're one block off US1 and 10-15 minutes by car to beach and downtown. Hang out around our stone fire pit or sit at our 6 person table with solar powered lighted umbrella. Wifi, electric and water included. Porta potty and outdoor shower with 8 gal. hot water tank. Two large outdoor sinks, one with 4 gal. hot water tank. Osceola National Forest is 200,000 acres of exploration with your name on it! In the northeastern Floridian forest, pine flatwoods and cypress-hardwood swamps surround, with diverse wildlife abound. In this leafy paradise lives gopher tortoises (they act like gophers, but are tortoises!), alligators, black bears, and the skunk ape, also known as the “stink ape,” which bears an uncanny resemblance to bigfoot. Areas of recreation include Ocean Pond--a fave place for boaters, skiiers, and campers, and Olustee Beach for swimming, fishing, and picnicking. The park is also open to hunters and fishermen with permits. With so much land to explore in this National Forest, we wouldn’t be surprised if bigfoot was hiding in there!

Bluebird boxes, bird feeder and birdbath are near the RV site, so you will enjoy watching nature right at your campsite. During hummingbird season, you will observe these tiny amazing birds enjoying our homemade nectar. Turtles enjoy roaming the property also. The camper pictured is in the spot where your RV will be parked. A firepit and grate are at the campsite.
You will be minutes from Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island, where you can swim and surf or rent horses for a beach horseback ride. Lofton Creek Kayaking and boat launches are within minutes. We are one mile south of the NE FL Regional Airport and it's not unusual to see a biplane practising barrel rolls for an air show. We are 30-45 minutes from Jacksonville, birthplace of the Blue Angels, and 15 minutes from downtown St. Augustine, the nation's oldest continuously occupied city. Bring your tent, van or small camper and share our slice of paradise! You'll have the camp site all to yourself--we sometimes need to water the garden, but otherwise avoid the camping area when it's occupied. Enjoy a variety of seating areas on our half acre lot full of fruit trees and flowers, or watch the sunset from the hot tub. Camping is easy with washer, dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, coffee pot, toaster and blender, all in an air-conditioned shed. Don't want to cook inside? Use the propane Jennair grill with gazebo and lights. Clean up is a breeze with our stainless steel triple sink and 4 gal hot water tank.
We're one block off US1 and 10-15 minutes by car to beach and downtown. Hang out around our stone fire pit or sit at our 6 person table with solar powered lighted umbrella. Wifi, electric and water included. Porta potty and outdoor shower with 8 gal. hot water tank. Two large outdoor sinks, one with 4 gal. hot water tank. Two locked gates in our chain link fence allow most RVs the option to pull through or back in. Water and 30A electric hookup located at corner of concrete pad, next to the Jennair gas grill. Relax on our Broyhill couch and easy chairs under the awning, and enjoy our latest addition, a fire table. Hang out in the new gazebo with mosquito netting and fabric panels on a Trex deck with a polycarbonate roof. Keep an eye out for hawks, owls, osprey and ibis. If you are extra lucky, you might spot our resident gopher tortoise! (If you do, please enjoy from a distance, they are protected.)

Located in a quiet neighborhood, this HipCamp is centrally located to all the sites. Anastasia State Park/Beach is just minutes away (biking to it is possible via a bike lane). The Castle and Old Saint Augustine is just minutes away. Robert met us with a welcome packet of maps and brochures to plan our stay. The site was level and very easy to back into. It checked off all our needs for a great stay in Saint Augustine.

I stayed 2 nights at La Quinta Bonita and I’ll tell you what. - what a peaceful little retreat with such down-to-earth and easy-going helpful hosts! If only time and life had allowed for a longer stay, I would not have hesitated to extend mine.
With the exception of nature’s nightly medley of hoots and howls (which is what this city boy NEEDS on retreats! lol ), the quiet was very refreshing.
The little camper is bigger than meets the eye when you enter it. Shower, toilet, all I needed worked well. Running water throughout.
Fresh eggs and hand-picked veggies for breakfast was a plus. Best omelet I’ve made in a long time. When I arrived, I was shown around and if I needed help, it was easy to get. I’m very much looking forward to many visits to come.

Destination Sunset was all that we expected and more. We stayed 5 nights with a 32’ camper. The large cement pad gave us room to set up the camper and really stretch out for outdoor movies, relaxing, and enjoying the view.
The lot is secure where we felt safe to let our 3 mini-schnauzers roam and explore without losing sight of them.
They had plenty of room to run and play. The host was very kind and helpful. There was firewood already split for us to use for a small additional fee.
The lot was easy to find and absolutely beautiful. There are mature trees with Spanish moss hanging everywhere. There is plenty of shade. String lights and a security light provide just the right amount of light once the sun goes down.
This was by far the nicest site we have ever stayed at. The sunsets are breathtaking. The Adirondack chairs around the fire pit is the perfect place to watch the sky light up over the water. We had a great vacation and will definitely stay here again in the future.

Karen and Phil were great hosts. We had some trouble with our vehicle and there were more than glad to help us. They were very friendly and took time to show us around the property and even shared a cutting of a plant from her garden. This place was very clean and had great outdoor areas for us to hang out. It’s a beautiful property. My wife and I both loved the horses and the trees. The outdoor shower was great with the open sky above but still had complete privacy. It was just a few minutes from historic St. Augustine. We would definitely stay there again.

Loved camping here! The family is very welcoming, the bathroom is clean, and the outdoor shower stays hot. The view is gorgeous and there's plenty of space between campsites. It is an open pasture so you can be seen by other campers, but hidden from the road. Some of the older reviews stated that they could hear trains all night, but I didn't hear any (I'm a light sleeper). My spouse said he heard it once. There were some gunshots, but that's to be expected with the location. It's also only 20 minutes from downtown St. Augustine which was awesome! We will definitely be booking here again. 😊

This was a dream Hipcamp! So many amenities that made camping easier (sinks for washing dishes, brushing teeth), a clean portapotty, and a magical shed with a fridge AND washer/dryer. The hot tub was delightful. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely stay here again! Karin and Phil were wonderful hosts and communication was easy.

What an amazing camping spot! Better than we even expected and we’ve already booked our next trip. Many more visits to come! Super easy to find as well.
The space was great, full hook up for the camper was great, the fenced in acre yard for the pups was great, the views are incredible, ability to fish, paddle board, relax on the dock, launch a boat if you have one or use the canoe and kayaks they have! The peaceful mornings, days and nights by the campfire plus firewood access. Literally everything was wonderful. I can’t say enough good things!
To top it off, Tim and his wife were very kind, accommodating and helpful in every way needed. There’s also access to a Publix and other shopping that’s not too far away if needed. This will be our regular camping spot. Keep in mind..the pictures in my review aren’t filtered. The views were just this perfect! Thanks again for everything Tim! We can’t wait to come back!
