Our pads are just across the Bridge of Lions (2 miles) from the Oldest USA city, St. Augustine, Fl. The historic Fountain of Youth is here along with Castillo de San Marcus National Monument, St. George Street, the historic district plus many other attractions. We have two level paver RV Pads. They both have electric, black and grey water cleanout, fast high speed internet (full hookup). They each have private patios for picnics, socializing, and relaxing. Both pads have high speed internet. Pad 1 accommodates an RV up to up to 32' in length. Pad 2 accommodates an RV up to 34' in length. We accept small Class A Motorhomes (32' and under), Class B, Class C, Small 5th Wheel, Pop-up Campers, Vans and Travel Trailers. Sorry, no tent camping is allowed. There is also a large back deck with picnic area overlooking the small fishing lake in the back yard. We enjoy meeting fellow travelers and sharing our paradise island. We are LGBTQ friendly. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe. The location has easy access to great adventures, history and wonderful memories may be made here. 2 nights at Okefenokee Pastimes Cabins and Camp

If you’re going to the swamp to kayak, this is a great location. It is right across from the National Wildlife Refuge entry. I stayed in the most basic cabin, whites just two beds, a mini fridge, microwave, fire pit, and small screened porch. Cabin is the size of a bedroom, basically. Communal shower and bathroom was satisfactory for a camping experience. Don’t expect hotel quality in the bathroom, that’s not what this is about. Charlene, a caretaker, was kind and helpful. I stayed her with my adult son. Perfect for two people. We brought a portable grill to make our own food and also went to Folkston for one dinner. It is quiet and family friendly. The swamp is an amazing natural wonder.

Weekend Trip to Vineyard Lake Getaway

Although the place was wonderful with curious geese and a peaceful pond it made up for the lack of people capable of picking up after their dogs...so luckily we had a large mat and spread it out to keep from stepping in piles of month old dried dog poop. Otherwise hook up was a breeze, the sewer could use some weed whacking for easy spotting but never heard a word from the owners dogs which kept their distance upon arrival, Kenny was responsive and let us enjoy 1 out of 2 days alone on the property while he went and camped himself. I should hopefully return as the view was a change of pace.

Had a great stay with Jennifer. This is a nice little space next to her working farm in a beautiful rural location. It's simple and Jennifer is an excellent host who really wants to make sure you are comfortable. The drive there is also gorgeous through amazing farmland.

1 night at Almost Heaven Acres

Nobody was there to greet us when we arrived, but when I asked for the exact address, the owner replied quickly and gave clear instructions. The number on the power pole was different from the one in the message, but luckily one of the neighbors kindly showed us the right spot. It felt a bit spooky at night, but in the morning we were welcomed by a herd of friendly horses — they loved being petted! 🐴 The grass could use a little mowing, but it wasn’t a big issue. The water and sewer hookups were a bit farther from the power connection, though that also wasn’t a major problem. Overall, a positive experience — just better to arrive before dark! 🌙
