Conductors corner is a nice mid way stop between home and where we camp in Georgia. The amenities provided are great to access. The trains are neat and the property around the sites is clean and well maintained. Lots of options for gas and food and overall a great stop.

Fantastic spot for railfans . Level concrete pad with full hook ups. Horns blow all night so don’t expect a “ quiet “ time. Full sun in afternoon so it can get hot in summer.

Access was great. We arrived later than anticipated, and hooking up was a breeze. Everything was just as Brandie said. This was a "shakedown" run in a bigger unit, so I was a bit apprehensive, but all was perfect.

This was a great spot to spend an afternoon and night in Folkston. The campsite pads and facilities are in excellent condition and well maintained. We are railfans so we enjoyed the trackside location. Twenty six trains passed through town during our stay. The Folkston railfan park is adjacent to the campsite. The Okefenokee Swamp visitor center is a short drive away and worth a visit.

Reminiscent of a by gone era

The sites are wonderful. Close to town...but also close to the railroad tracks. Fun to watch the trains go by....not so great when they whistle as they go by at night. A really nice place over all!

Great spot to bring your RV or camper. Cost is a little high but not too bad. Good hook ups for power, sewer and water. Might want to bring some wasp killer before you try and plug in! LOL Perfect for train watching right from your RV or Camper! Real nice level concrete pad too!

The RV sites are upfront right by the railroad tracks. You have a great view of everything going on in the town and everything is extremely neat and clean.

Perfect for an overnight stay

This was a perfect overnight stay with a level concrete pad, FHU, with plenty of places to eat within a few blocks or more. The trains are very loud and very close by while passing through but we knew this before booking our stay. We stayed in the rv during our stay. We would only return if we needed a place to park the RV for an overnight while traveling. If you are a light sleeper this wouldn’t be the place for you to catch some zzz’s. The trains didn’t bother us though. Again, perfect for overnight stay .. on a village street corner.

The site was perfect for my 25' travel trailer. It was very interesting to be in a small town. Very interesting also to have the trains pass by. Very relaxing sleeping . Will definitely be back for my travels down south in the future.

It is very nice setup up with the concrete pad. Quiet little town, until a train comes through. But I slept through the night. no problem. I think trains go through about every 45 minutes to an hour and a half. I was speaking to a train spotter and he said about 3500 rail cars go by every day. Town main street is very small with a few businesses but most were closed on Mondays.

Supportive stop

My bestie has stayed here a few times and loves it. We were looking for a stop halfway way through are drive home and I suggested it. He wanted to make sure i understood it was not going to be quiet, I had purchased ear plugs for this stop. The grounds were clean and well maintained. Yes there were trains that went by but honestly it did not affect my sleep. It was really neat to experience it and I would definitely return.

We loved camping on Brandie's site. Sites were spacious, clean and well kept. The main street of Folkston was within walking distance, Laundromat was within a block of our site. A young gentleman named Kerry detailed our 40" motorhome. Great job Overall I will return. Thanks

Nice clean and level sites. Enjoyed watching the trains from site with our 3 year old grandson. It is very loud during the night but we expected that with the railroad crossing being so close. Would stay again.

Our space was tidy and the utilities worked great. The only major “issue” we had was finding out how much the train would affect things. Not only are you close to the railroad, you’re close to the crossing so you are getting woken up regularly throughout the night by the train horns. The first night will probably be a bit rough for campers like it was for us and our 1 year old but just keep your white noise machines up high. Overall, a fun and clean place to stay.

Overall it was a good experience. I do believe we should be able to have a campfire with an approved firepit. Ther is no reason why I could not have set it up in the rock area.

You get water,power,sewer,and pretty good WiFi and if want to see some trains this the place for you! RV sites are very well kept and close to conveniences in Folkston. It's a fun stopover on the way to somewhere else!
