Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run.
Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool
Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

This is the beautiful wild coast of Florida's "Big Bend." Located halfway between Perry to the north and Steinhatchee to the south, Keaton Beach is an outpost town with a laidback, relaxing atmosphere. No motels, no fast food. Had an awesome time here. The camp is located about 3 miles from Ichetucknee springs state park and about the same distance from a few boat ramps for the Suwannee river. The camp was relatively secluded, a nice open area, has a fire ring a small shower, and power. If you are going to tent camp, make sure to bring heavy duty tent stakes. The site has a layer of compact lime stone which is great, but hard to drive standard tent stakes through. Overall great experience.

Absolutely beautiful, Gulf view, RV site. Dianthe is very sweet and welcoming! Full hook-ups, nice level site, well maintained and very quiet and peaceful. Breathtaking sunsets! We will definitely come for a visit again and definitely stay longer!

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite. We were running a bit late, but the host was waiting for us with a smile and made us feel welcome right away. He helped us get settled and even checked back about 30 minutes later to make sure we had everything we needed.
The campsite itself was beautifully manicured and thoughtfully decorated for the holiday, which added a really nice touch. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful, and being away from the city lights made the night sky absolutely stunning—the stars were unbelievably bright.
If you’re looking for a relaxing, well-kept campsite with a thoughtful host, this is a great place to stay.

Highly recommend! Super convenient and well-equipped!
My husband and I had a great experience at this campsite. The amenities were surprisingly complete: a mini barn with clean toilet, plenty of toilet paper, hot water, a fridge, a microwave and even a heater, which is a huge plus for us (we had some freezing nights during our stay). The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.
The location is also fantastic - it’s very close to the nearby state park. Donna’s recommendation of the restaurants and cafe are also great!
Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay! Will definitely come back!

This was a great option for us! The host was super nice, the area was clean, and we had everything we needed! Would return 100%! Be aware, however, you will have to use your own bathroom/shower on your rig. (there is onsite sewage/water/electric, but no bathhouse) Also, no onsite laundry. Otherwise, we enjoyed it!

Nice, private location. Easy access, conveniently located to nearby towns. The camping site was level and was a circle drive making set up and departure a snap!
April was thoughtful and considerate while also respecting our privacy. The amenities were minimal but well presented. The porta Jon was clean and neat. Good place to stay if visiting the area and want a simple, hassle free experience!

April’s campsite was absolutely incredible! From the start, she was super communicative and helpful, making everything easy and stress-free. The campsite itself is completely private, no stacked RVs or crowded spaces. Just peace, quiet, and nature.
One of the best parts? The location! It’s super close to Ichetucknee Springs, and April even offers a shuttle service. If you’re in an RV and don’t want to deal with driving or parking near the springs, this is a game changer. She took us right to the springs, which made our kayaking and tubing adventures so simple and fun.
We had an amazing time and can’t recommend this spot enough. April is a fantastic host, and the area is absolutely stunning. We’ll definitely be back!

April’s campsite was great - I have no complaints! Beautiful, clean, and so convenient - places like Ichetucknee springs, grocery stores, and gas stations were just 10 minutes away. She is very kind as well and very hospitable. It was a little tricky to put the steaks in the ground for tents as there were quite a few rocks but that didn’t pose too much of a problem. With cool clean water, a clean toilet, a very nice fire ring, a clean picnic table, and decent WiFi, it was a great campsite! I would definitely recommend this for anyone interested, families, friends, or solo campers. It seemed like a very safe area as well and all the locals were very kind and helpful.
