Horse Shoe Bend River Camp is on an oxbow lake of the Amite River in East Baton Rouge Parish. Pull in and park your RV in one of our temp/long stay RV parking spots with a water hose and 20 amp electric cord. No waste hookups are available, but if you have a tote, you dump it in my septic. Tent camping is welcomed as well as small vehicle parking as a "rest area" on your journey.

The site was very quiet and also not that far from some different gas stations or amenities. There's not a whole lot going on at Damon's place for good or ill and he did provide the hose and the garbage can which were useful

Great getaway

1st time camping in my life and it’s very calm and relaxing and you get all the privacy you want. I really enjoyed the peace n quiet and doing fires
