The local Camping World in Lake City FL has a dump station, so I advise dumping your tanks before you arrive.Nice quiet area. Partially wooded, partially open grassy field. The Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail runs along the back of the property, this bike, walking, and horse trail was formerly a railroad and now connects Downtown Gainesville to Hawthorne. Animals on-site: Outside the fenced camp area, you'll find pet cows and donkeys—all friendly and never raised for food. Feel free to feed and pet them without crossing the fence! Ducks and chickens may wander near the camping area.
If you're towing horses, they are welcome to graze within the camping area. If multiple guests have horses, we’ll guide you to a larger pasture.
Pets are welcome! Just keep them leashed near the other farm animals.

We booked the one "partial hookup" site with water and 50/30A. Parking was easy and not more than 100 feet from the river, with a gentle sand slope and easy entry for swimming. We swam in the evening and the morning. The water was cool but not cold. There was a little more than a gentle current, being summer, and being a natural river there were places that were more difficult with branches and steeper banks, but the main swimming spot was really nice. We had the whole property to ourselves. The owner was very responsive by text. T-Mobile connection was strong, even for streaming.

Host was available but not intrusive, he responded quickly when we needed anything. Area was clean, paddleboat available to float around the pond. Conveniently located close enough to town with that out of town feel. We will stay again if we come back to the area.

Great campground! Staff is super welcoming and available when needed. Amenities are easily accessible clearly marked, with great maps provided by the site.
Hands-down, best showers I've experienced at a campground (especially if you don't mind a tree frog or two joining you😉).

Kenny’s Vineyard Lake was perfect for our needs! We live in south Florida, and looking for an overnight close to the hwy just to get out of Florida. It was easy to find and access. Everything was as stated and worked perfectly. It is a big flat field so if you need practice backing! This is an opportunity with nothing in your way😉. We hope to stay again in the future.

We enjoyed our weekend stay. We had the site to ourselves and it was very peaceful. The water levels on the pond were very low (by what looks like at least 6 feet) but there was still quite a bit of water. The water lilies were in bloom. I caught a few small bass but surprisingly few panfish (I think they are being out-competed by the bass which are stocked). We saw quite a few birds and there was a pair of geese in the pond with their goslings and a muscovy duck which thought it was part of the family.
The utilities were great and very convenient. The site (#2) was quite flat and on typical Florida sand. Site #1 looked pretty rough though and I'm glad we opted for #2. It rained pretty hard one evening but it drained very well.
One note: the owner has dogs which stay on their side of a line of cones and asks that you do not take your dogs over the line (which is entirely reasonable and easily respected; there is a lot of room). However, you cannot leave the property on a dog walk without crossing the line. We loaded our dogs into the truck and went to a nearby trail head for walking.

My family had such a great time camping here! The kids enjoyed riding on the jon boat and pedal boat, jumping off the dock and swinging on the tree swing. A fun added bonus was seeing the cows and horses just over the fence.

We had a great stay. This hipcamp feels like it’s deep in the middle of the country, but was only 20-30 minutes outside of Jacksonville. Kenny was sure to greet us and make sure we didn’t need anything. The kids loved playing in the lake, paddling around and fishing. There is a cow pasture on the other side of the field, and there were two adorable baby cows that the kids could watch through the fence. Kenny’s dogs were super sweet and loved the kids, but you’ll want to keep your own dogs away from them (which he asked us to do upon arrival) and site 1 backs up right to the dog’s border. Site two has more of a buffer between the campsite and this area.

This was a great spot to spend an afternoon and night in Folkston. The campsite pads and facilities are in excellent condition and well maintained. We are railfans so we enjoyed the trackside location. Twenty six trains passed through town during our stay. The Folkston railfan park is adjacent to the campsite. The Okefenokee Swamp visitor center is a short drive away and worth a visit.
