Weekend Trip to Creekside Paradise
Shawn did a great job making sure we were fully prepared for our time at the Yurt. Falling asleep to the sounds of the creek couldn’t be beat. A great way to spend our nights after fall hiking in the area.

Weekend Trip to Creekside Paradise
My partner and I had a wonderful time during our two night stay. The ger is magical. Lots of space inside. The indoor wood-stove was so nice to use when it got a little chilly at night.
We loved how much respect Shawn has for the ger and the land. This is a really beautiful spot.

Weekend Trip to Colorado Black Forest Horse Ranch
A quaint full fledged farm experience in a charming yurt.
It really is just as good as a high-end hotel but all the right kinds of disconnects. No screens, WiFi is there but you’ll forget about connecting.
Horses greet you. The moon rises over the prairie and makes a picturesque evening.

Great place to camp with kids! The yurt is spacious, the creek area is fun for kids to play in and the spot offers a grill, fire pit and “bathroom” area. We had an awesome time with our boys and would definitely recommend.

2 nights at Creekside Paradise
Huge space, but dark inside. Bring candles or additional lanterns. Cooler provides which is great. Cookware also provided along w/ some cooking oil (likely a previous guest) Remote-ish location. You can hear trickle of stream and cars from road, but at night there are few cars. Area around yurt could use some landscaping to make it more appealing.

Weekend Trip to Creekside Paradise
This is a distinctive and special place. I enjoyed the lovely creek, unique yurt, and distance from yet proximity to the amenities of town (Ward Mountain Exchange and Marrocco’s restaurant). It’s a bonus to have t Brainard Lake recreation area just 20-minute or so drive away. Be prepared to get out of the yurt on hot afternoons. It cools down nicely once the sun lowers.
