Welcome to our charming 2-acre meadow nestled in East Boulder. Just minutes from town - near bike trails, shops and restaurants. A great pitstop on your way to or from the mountains - or base camp for the adventures in Front Range. We aren't fancy, but we are convenient, cozy and safe. Gate code will be provided 48 hours before arrival.
We have spots in the wide open meadow for Tents, Motorhomes, Vans, Trailers, and Rooftop setups. The grounds are a bit sloped but we've got leveling boards (please leave them behind).
We've got Boulder's best eggs, a few walking paths through tall wild grasses, a campfire ring, solar shower, small sink, gas grill, and a lovely porta-jon that’s cleaned weekly.
We can handle RVs up to 45 feet - truck and trailer. It’s a big field, but a narrow, winding and steep gravel ramp to get in and out.
We have a community fire pit with free burn wood, though the big logs are few and far between; your own firewood is recommended - as well as an ax or saw. If it's windy, please skip the fire... the BFD is very strict about this!!
We have well water feeding a solar shower (only hot when the sun shines) and sink (non potable unless you have a filter).
We have a wading / dog pool continually refreshed from the creek. It’s a saving grace in the summertime.
Please help yourself to eggs up at the coop - look for the Venmo QR. The chickens free range during the day, so please MIND YOUR DOG.

Now it is enveloping your restful night under the starry sky of Colorado. The space offers you a coffee maker, a water kettle, water dispenser, BBQ and electricity. You will enjoy the delightful back side view of the famous Hogback mountain.
Just a few steps away from your campsite you will find our bath house with a clean portable toilet, hot shower and hand sink. You also will find a fridge inside, where you can keep your refreshments and your food fresh and cool. It is entirely made from reclaimed materials and it adds glamor and luxury to your glamping experience! To minimize our environmental impact, we use a greywater system. The liquid soap provided is a diluted, biodegradable formula that nourishes our garden as it drains. While it may feel lighter than conventional soap, rest assured it's gentle on both your skin and the environment.
We do our best to provide many of the comforts of a home for your "glamping" experience but make sure you are prepared to stay in the great outdoors which includes bugs and it is still camping. If you are afraid of bugs or occasional spiders this might not be for you. We cannot control the changes that both weather and the surrounding environment may cause. Although we provided an extra blanket and the tent has mosquito nets, we encourage bringing bug spray, warm clothes, flash lights, extra drinking water and other items you might need to make your stay pleasant. There are easy trails on property along the lush stream (the original riverbed of the Middle Saint Vrain Stream), fishing or swimming in the pond (no lifeguard on duty), or challenging trails into Roosevelt National Forest from the property. (Ask Hiker Dot for guidance.) Several National Forest access points, where you can enjoy peaceful walks away from crowds, are a short drive.

Bliss Canyon is a spur off of breathtaking, picturesque South Saint Vrain Canyon. Stroll on over to the South or Middle for renowned fly fishing. For climbers, there are over 50 climbs in South Saint Vrain Canyon!
Dark Skies:
If you like to watch the stars and meteor showers, Bliss Canyon is blessed with dark skies with little light from the plains. Bring your telescopes and explore the Universe.
Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the five Crown Jewels of the National Park Service, is nearby. The closest trailhead in RMNP is 10 miles, the next trailhead at Wild Basin entrance to the park is 13 miles, and the Beaver Meadows entrance (main entrance) is 36 miles. Rocky Mountain National Park has breathtaking drives, easy strolls with interpretive signs, and 360 miles of trails. (Advance reservation required for entry 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for main park, or 5:00 am to 6:00 pm for Bear Lake corridor.)
Indian Peaks Wilderness also has several nearby access points and trailheads. Ask Dot for details.
The charming town of Lyons is 20 minutes away with coffee shops, restaurants, bars, lots of great live music, and quaint shops. Also, Spirit Hound Distillery received the award for the #1, Best Whiskey in the World in 2022, hmmm, it might be worth a tasting!
Due to our popularity reservations often fill up quickly. We suggest you make your reservations in advance especially if you have a group to rent the entire camp. At times there are last minute cancelations which allows for last minute openings.

We took our E-bikes up to the show and back - it was perfect! Just be aware when riding back at night
The bathroom is crafted nicely with unique art and fixtures - Having the shower amenity was extremely helpful in the summer time .There is a fridge with designated spots to hold a few items. The bathroom is a clean outhouse. They even provide a few things like tampons, sunscreen, and bug spray in case you forgot.
For camping - some notes for future campers -
Make sure to bring your own water and bucket to do dishes after you cook
Both campsites are exposed to the sun (no shade) so I would definitely bring a pop up
Wind gets pretty bad so make sure to secure everything before leaving camp
We absolutely loved and enjoyed our time and can’t wait to come back to visit!

We loved staying on Grayson & Tina's land at their Rocky Mountain RV Resort!! We towed our 17' Casita camper easily to the property, and were able to position our camper close to the full hook-ups, and under the shade of the tall pines. Grayson and Tina greeted us, and gave us some great suggestions to explore the area. Close to RMNP, Nederland, and Ward.
The property is fully fenced, with a gate at the driveway, so our two dogs were free to roam and sniff without us having to worry about them chasing any squirrels or moose deep into the forest. The site is close to the house, but we never felt like we were intruding, or intruded upon. Grayson & Tina were super kind to us and the dogs. We will definitely stay here again whenever we travel to the area.

The hosts were awesome. Sabin and Randy were available for anything. Randy even fixed my pop-up when the wind damaged it. The bath house was outstanding, my wife still hasn’t stopped talking about it. Very close to Red Rocks. Randy has lived here most of his life so has a lot of tips for first-timers. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Group trip
We camped here with our 24' hard side trailer for 3 nights. The stream is really sweet and a nice sound at night and in the morning. Our young kids (10 and 5) enjoyed playing in/around the stream, as it was hot enough to enjoy the cool water. The difficult part was backing into the spot, but was not impossible or difficult once you got into the driveway and past the big rock. The site is on a broken asphalt road and part gravel base, and there is a picnic table and port a potty, which was clean. There is a large open garage/structure nearby that is used as a working shop, but the wood work stopped for the time we were there.
There is a nice little hike through/up the rocks from the campsite, which was a fun short adventure. You can hear traffic coming from the highway but it is intermittent and not overly distracting. Dot & Byron we're very nice hosts and greeted us upon arrival. The location is not far from Estes, Rocky Mountain National Park, Longs Peak, or Lyons.

Such a fantastic site with electric! I did a beautiful scenic drive on Rt 74 to Evergreen up in the mountains (38 mins) . You can spend the day in Evergreen easy. Cool mountain air. I enjoyed the celebrations in Buchanon Park. There are many parks and trails. Hip camp was also within 20 mins to central Denver. The host was excellent! Quiet neighborhood.

Easy access to the river from any site. Our site was on the Thompson River (W&E only) and it was amazing. The publice restrooms are very well maintained. The playground area and gazebo offer a really nice space to gather. A really great local jazz band played on Saturday night. We will definitely go back!

Great camping spot. We used it for red rock show and it was perfect distance. Host were very friendly and outgoing. Your porta body was super clean. In the bathroom itself was pretty nice for camping spot. Shower had great pressure and gets plenty hot. Would absolutely recommend and will be another book for our next Colorado trip.

Our stay was great! The mountainview was beautiful. There were lots of bunnies hopping around. Loved the big bullfrog down in the pond. The shower was warm and great water pressure. We were in the mountain view camping spot - was great in the evening. If gonna hang in the morning would suggest a tent with some shade. But otherwise

Clean, hot showers with great water pressure, amenities for comforts, and clean flushing toilets. A reasonable fee and last minute openings for car parking camping. They were amazing. I ended up booking a second night. And I will DEFINITELY be back.
