This is one of the most beautiful camp sites we have been to this year. Tim is great to work with and we appreciate him for sharing this property with us. If you get a chance to book, I would highly suggest you do. Spending time fishing with my young grandaughter was the best part of our trip. and the fishing was excellent. I also loved being able to take my dogs without any worries. Just a beautiful property.

this was one of the coolest places we have ever stayed! my husband never went to summer camp as a kid, so he was really giddy about it! the pond was awesome, our dogs loved it so much, they didn’t want to get out… they truly swam for hours. the property itself was beautiful and quiet, it was exactly what we were hoping for! thank you tim for allowing us to enjoy blue mountain ranch, we hope to be back!

We really enjoyed the privacy and the dogs really enjoyed their freedom! Maybe a little to much! Hahaha
The lake was perfect and we loved we had it all to ourselves and bonus we didnt have cell service so we were really able to sit a relax and enjoy nature. We will be back!

We recently purchased our very first RV and wanted a private quiet place to test everything out on. This site definitely offered that. Not only is the property quiet, it’s close to a lot of major CO attractions like Cañon City snd the Royal Gorge. It was a perfect place to test our setup out, run to town for things we may have forgotten, etc and Joshua, our host was so nice and quick to respond. He was very helpful when we had a few issues/ questions.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage Cabin! Very clean, amazingly quiet and in a beautiful setting. Proximity to the Victor and Cripple Creek area made our sightseeing excursions more enjoyable.

Jeff's property is spectacular. This is the third time we have stayed at one of his properties and each time we have had a memorable time! It is very secluded, directions to the property are great, and everything is as advertised. The mattresses were more comfortable than expected for a place in the woods. It is so nice to be off the grid but also have a roof over your head and not have to worry about your tent getting wet if it rains. There is a lot to explore. We will absolutely be back!

Weekend Trip to Phantom Canyon Acres
Beautiful place nestled in a mature aspen grove. We had a wonderful time
The appliances seemed brand new, and some things are still being dialed in, but this is not a typical cabin. It is indeed cozy--and quite spacious at the same time. The front and back decks are amazing--we spent equal time on each.
The property connects directly with public land--this offers the opportunity for greater exploration. Everything is uphill, but it is doable with a bit of effort. We climbed the 1000+ feet to the top of the mountain west of the property for stunning views of the Victor mine and Pikes Peak. Cell service was available quite a bit lower.
Jeff, the host, was responsive and super accommodating.
We'll be back!

K’s place is very relaxing and you feel like you are out in the country. It’s off the highway and very quiet. There is even a nice little circular trail into the wooded area that me and the family enjoyed walking and riding bikes around. If you need all the amenities this place is not for you. If you just want to relax and not be bothered for a bit, this is the spot.
Host lives on front separate property and is very responsive if you need anything. They will also leave you in peace if you don’t need anything. Would recommend.

This was a fantastic spot! We stayed with two adults, a six year old, and two dogs and had plenty of room. Bruce has provided everything you could need. It was so nice to camp without having to pack all the supplies and set up when arriving. It was very quiet and we had a great time! We would love to come back!

I had such a great weekend glamping here! The tent was super cozy and had everything we needed—plenty of supplies, thoughtful touches, and a peaceful vibe that made it easy to relax and unplug. My boyfriend and I loved the overall experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in nature.
Just a heads up: the property is at the very end of a long, bumpy dirt road, and it took us over 30 minutes of slow driving to get there. It’s definitely manageable with the right vehicle, but something to keep in mind when planning your trip.
All in all, a beautiful spot with everything you need for a great outdoor escape. Also very pet friendly. We’d stay again!

I loved being here. If you're looking for somewhere to clear your mind and not have people around.. this is it! So much open land to roam around and the dogs had free reign to explore. Only downside I had was the fire ants. Just watch your toes! Host was accommodating and very kind.

We had a great time glamping! The outdoor kitchen was super convenient and came with all the essentials utensils, supplies, and a working setup for easy cooking. The yurt was cozy and the gas heater kept us warm at night when temps dropped into the low 40s.
The shower and flushable toilet were easy to use thanks to clear instructions. We had a small issue with the inverter, but Bruce was very responsive and instruct us how to fix it quickly. We even got to meet him and his wife on our last day, both were very kind and welcoming. Inverter should be fixed now since Bruce brought a new one to swap out the old one when we met them.
The location is peaceful and quiet, tucked away at the end of a dirt/gravel road. No traffic or noisy neighbors—just nature. Cell reception was limited, but that added to the unplugged feel.
Having the option to buy firewood on-site was super convenient—we had more than enough for our 3-night stay.
Cripple Creek is the closest town, with a charming main street full of casinos and restaurants. We ate at District Kitchen & Saloon and loved the food. Dogs are allowed on the patio, which worked great for our two pups.
Tip: Store food in sealed containers! A little critter chewed through our bread, hotdog bun, and got into our s’mores chocolate overnight after we had closed the kitchen.
Overall, a peaceful, well-equipped getaway. Highly recommend if you're looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors!

We had a great time staying here for a couple of nights! The kitchenette with grill was a wonderful feature. And we appreciated being able to take cover in the yurt during the thunderstorms that rolled through, with ample space inside, and games, and hot tea. The area is beautiful with views all around, and it felt very private. We would love to go back!
