Camp Stoney Meadows

We've been enjoying this special spot with family and friends for over 25 years, and now we want to share it with you. We appreciate the four seasons here on our 120 acres in the beautiful Cascade Range between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta.  Our property is adjacent to Shasta Trinity National Forest.  

It's a working ranch with tree farms, animals, hydroelectric power, sawmill, gardens, orchards, creeks, springs, trails, and our camp alongside Kosk Creek.  

We're 54 miles from Redding off of 299E, (about 1-1/2 hour drive). The last mile or so of the road here can be pretty rough, but on arrival, you'll know it's worth the trip! 

No Cell phone service available here, so it's the perfect opportunity to unplug. We do have a land line up at the house in case of an emergency. Also, if you really need it, WiFi is available at the house.

2 bdrm/1 bath cottage with full length patio, king size and two twin beds; room for at least two add'l cots. Limited kitchen. Everything you'll need for your family vacation or reunion, wedding, retreat, workshop, or honeymoon. 

Family Lodge.  Partial kitchen between the two bedrooms, with indoor bathroom.

Ramada in the Trees.  Screen porch with 28' trailer inside.  Communal kitchen, bath, picnic area in the back.

Fenders Ferry RV camping

Welcome to our mountain getaway! Beautiful 4 acre property perfect for bringing a 5th wheel or motor home camping. There are also tons of available places to pitch tents but with no bathroom provided.. Property is close to rivers, waterfalls, hot springs and more! Campsite is 20 minutes from the beautiful mountain town of Burney with restaurants, old movie theater, bowling alley and a few bars. Burney is famous for Burney Falls, which I highly recommend. Another amazing water feature 25 minutes down Fenders Ferry is Potem Falls, a gorgeous waterfall with an awesome swimming hole, rope swing and you can swim behind the fall. Campsite is a 30 minute drive to Shasta Lake with boat ramps. Have a great time exploring our little slice of heaven.

Learn more about this land:The Cabin is a place to unplug & unwind. In fact, it's hardly camping at all. If you're looking for a perfect space loaded with technology, this isn't the listing for you. If you want to hear the wind whistling through 100 acres of pines, oaks and little else, keep reading. The windows are wonky, the flooring is worse, but the cozy full bed, infrared stove, sweet kitchenette, and surrounding quiet will charm you from the first hello. Finish reading (or writing!) your novel, bring your knitting/sewing, yoga mat, & relax.The outdoor deck is perfect for morning coffee before you hit a hiking trail, go paddle boarding, or spend the day otherwise unplugged. Inside the cabin there's a cafe table begging for offline computer work, sewing a quilt, working on a puzzle, or simply enjoying a meal. The kitchenette features a fridge-combo-stove with 2 electric burners for cooking and a mini-fridge sized fridge, small freezer included. Wash up in the single sink, and enjoy the standard sized shower stall, and of course use the toilet.Our home's corner is 10 feet away from the cabin. This means that you'll hear us potentially get ready for school in the morning, barely hear me all day as I work from home during the day, and probably notice when the kids get home from school in the afternoon. We are lights out by 10 pm every day of the week if not earlier, and our two kids are normal, well-behaved kids that will respect your privacy as we hope you will respect ours.Trinity Lake is about an hour's drive, Kangaroo Lake is 40 minutes, Mt. Shasta an hour plus or minus 15 minutes depending on summer versus winter conditions, and the town of Etna is only 12 minutes. Historic Callahan is only 5 minutes away, and Fort Jones is 27 minutes.Our driveway is easily accessible nearly every day of the year in a Honda Accord (minus the rare, heavy snowfall).

Juniper Spur Ranch

Welcome to Juniper Spur Ranch!  Directions:  GPS Juniper Valley Spur....this is a short culdesac road with a road sign at the entrance off Juniper Valley Drive.  There is a green pipe rail gate at the end.  This gate has a combination lock.  You will receive the current combination code 2 days before your arrival.   If you are turning onto a dirt road without a sign....you are on the wrong road.  Juniper Valley Spur is my short culdesac road with a green pipe rail gate at the end. 

We have 3 RV sites available for campers to book. Please note that we do not have RV hookups for any of the sites. You will be parking on loose gravel and the sites are flat. We can accommodate most RVs/trailers, if you are uncertain about the size just send me a message.

There is a portapotty in the hay barn cleaned regularly and a water spigot for non-potable water uses or for a quick outdoor shower with a handheld spritzer. It is not enclosed so you will need to be discreet. 

Pets are allowed at campsites #2 and #3 only. These campsites are farthest from the horses and dogs. Please keep dogs on leash at all times. 

Our property offers a beautiful view of Mount Shasta. Nature lovers, extreme sports enthusiasts, family vacationers and retirees, can all enjoy the vast recreational opportunities this area has to offer.

Lake Siskiyou is about 20 miles south and offers a wonderful 7-mile hiking trail around the entire lake. Bring your horses too. I have a couple of electric-fenced paddocks for visitors.

Great Location | Large Gravel Pad

Learn more about this land:See pictures. Fairly flat packed gravel. There is 110 outdoor outlet via a 20 ft extension cord but it's 110 20 amp circuit (not enough to run all the appliances at once on most RVs).  Water from a hose and a sewage hookup is also available.
