3 nights at Cobb Mtn Retreat Cabin w/ Hot Tub

Wow - what a wonderful spot! We were greeted with a very clean, open and refreshing house. It is impressive how mindfully designed and well-appointed it is, with pleasant textures, textiles, colors and artful touches throughout, as well as numerous large windows to let the outside in. The comfortable seating areas are perfectly placed to enjoy the beautiful, woodsy setting both indoors and out. The hot tub area is great too - perfectly designed for privacy & relaxation. The house was well-stocked with items that are often not provided at house rentals, such as Kleenex, a variety of cooking spices, every kitchen tool I needed (and we cooked every meal at the house during our 3-night stay), Tupperware perfect for picnics, coffee supplies, etc. Well done! It's one of those places you want to tell everyone about, but you also don't because you want it to be available for your next getaway!

Weekend Trip to CAMP CAZ

What a special spot - both inside and out we loved Camp Caz. Lounging by the river and exploring the banks with kids was super fun. We did s’mores outside, hung out in hammocks on the deck, grilled and after Al fresco. Inside was cozy and big bonus to have a full kitchen and bath in a remote setting. Highly recommend, perfect for a family of four.

It was beautiful spot! Host Marek was really nice and quiet spot. Definitely visit again. Road to his Vineyard had some rough spots but our 2WD class B Travato with motorcycle trailer made through fine. Thanks to Marek we had great time!

Weekend Trip to Moon Bear Lodge

I came with about 10 people and 4 kids for my birthday weekend and had such an amazing stay due to Jessica’s hospitality and the stunning property!! The property is stunning, the accommodation is well thought out, treee house is AMAZING, and Jessica is such a thoughtful host - she shared a bubble machine for the kids, there’s an entire playground for them as well, and an extra air mattress to make a family even more comfy. Stay here - you’ll have such a stellar time!

My friend and I stayed here over the weekend and had an amazing stay. I didn’t have any cell reception (very welcome change), woke up to a beautiful cacophony of birdsong every morning, and enjoyed watching sheep and an alpaca graze in the adjacent fields. We stayed in site 3, which I enjoyed as it was tucked up against a row of trees with a pretty view of the mountains and sunrise. There was a farm stand at the home next door and my friend and I purchased fresh spinach and dates from, which blew away any farmers market product she and I have tried before. I’m almost reticent to rate this place because I want to keep it all special to myself! But I do hope you also can enjoy an amazing stay here yourself. Kitchen setup had good basics. Don’t forget trash bags and hand towels for yourself though!

An unforgettable experience! Can’t recommend the treehouse enough. Every touch was so thoughtful and considered. The charming nearby town of Occidental was a great place to bop around and enjoy dinner. Miss J was a great and responsive host. Can’t wait to come back!

We dry camped along the vineyard with 2 other groups of friends. The location did have a bit of road noise but nothing that kept us awake. We also paid to have access to the barn’s bathroom, laundry and hangout area. It was nice to have that convenience.

We had an enjoyable stay on the Little Vineyard spot. Site is level, hookups work well and Lorri continues to add nice touches in the landscaping. We are repeat customers and plan to return.

The family farm and residence were established during the late 1970s on the site of the historic Peter’s Dairy Ranch. The original farmhouse dates back to the late 19th century and survived the great 1906 earthquake. Today, the 7-acre farm is being restored to sustainably support fruit orchards, cottage flower and kitchen gardens, honey bees, a boisterous flock of chickens, and naughty shetland sheep. Our self-serve farmstand attached to our barn has seasonal flowers, organic eggs, heirloom fruit, and local goods from the farm. Our property is the perfect rustic getaway for backpackers and outdoor enthusiasts. You’ll be surrounded by farm/ranch life: chickens clucking, roosters crowing, bees buzzing, and sheep bleating. We also have active nighttime wildlife: coyotes howling, raccoons foraging, owls hooting, etc. Bring earplugs if nature sounds are too much for you. We are conveniently located off of US 101, therefore there may be some freeway noise, during commute hours especially. It has become like white noise to me, but it is only fair to mention it. We offer full hookups which consists of 50 amp & 110 volt electrical outlets, potable water, sewage dump. We also have a pigtail available (with a refundable deposit) if needed to convert 50 amp to 30 amp. We also have one place in the middle of our big vineyards with a 30 amp and water only. No sewer. Our sites are located one mile from Healdsburg plaza, the heart of Sonoma County wine country. Our town offers amazing wineries, fantastic restaurants, and quaint shops. It is an excellent place for wine lovers. There is a pre-prohibition winery right across the road called Foppiano. There are many other fabulous wineries are nearby. We are in an excellent location for outdoor adventurers. There are plenty of hiking trails near by as well as bike rental shops for those who enjoy trekking, and even a couple of rafting places right here on the Russian River. We are close to places like Armstrong Woods, Safari West, Getaway Adventures, The Sonoma County Fairgrounds which hosts the Summer Country Concerts among other events, Harmony Festival, Santa Rosa Full Camp; Half Marathons Camp; 5K, Sonoma Zip-line Adventures, and Much More! For you foodies there are Savor Food Tours, Relish Culinary Adventures in addition to all the incredible restaurants in town. There is so much to do and see in our beautiful part of the world. The Redwood Alliance camp is just a few miles up Bohemian Hwy if you dare to zip line through the redwood canopy forest or Armstrong woods in Guerneville for those that would rather keep their feet on the ground and take a hike to enjoy the majestic beauties. Duncan's Mill is a quaint town (less than 3 miles from us) on your way to Jenner by the Sea which is just about 9 miles to the west of us. You can take a gorgeous coastal drive to Bodega that is only 15 miles away. Historic Fort Ross is another beautiful 20 mile coastal drive. Bike Enthusiast love the back roads out here and the Biggest Attraction Is… Wait for it…. Wineries are everywhere! During the summer there are several Music Venues close by too. The Rio Nido Roadhouse has outdoor music on the weekends. Rockin the River is every other Thursday in Guerneville. The Monte Rio Variety Show just celebrated it 111th year to a sold-out crowd. Zac Brown, Steve Miller, Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor are just a few Headliners that have been here in the past.We have a great Lightwave coffee shop across the creek that is a quick 5 minute walk. There are several restaurants along the river as well as a small grocery store, movie theater, and a Homemade Ice Cream Parlor that are all close enough to walk to or drive. If you think you may have problems with any of these things PLEASE DON'T COME!!! We also have a dog named Sara that loves people. Most campers that come are very happy to have her around. She is polite and good with children. Some of you may not like dogs, if that is the case this will not be a fun experience for you.
