This 1968 Shasta Camper, located in a small garden within an urban neighborhood, sleeps up to four people, with additional space to set up tents if desired. It has a few amenities—some more rustic than others—including AC, refrigerator and freezer, stovetop (oven does not work), sinks, shower, internet, and coffee maker. Located just ten minutes from the Port of Long Beach and the Port of San Pedro, it’s a great launch point for cruise-goers. With swimming beaches only twenty minutes away, it’s an ideal option for a low-cost vacation. Help yourself to the freshest fruits, vegetables, and legumes from the garden, and watch the bees, butterflies, and grasshoppers happily pollinate, creating opportunities for new growth. There are five wineries within a mile of our location as well as the entrance to Lake Skinner just a quarter mile away. The Nook is truly a special place. It is tucked away in the woods, and on the quietest road you can imagine. I don't think I saw a car driving by the while time we were there so if you are looking for true peace and quiet, this is it! The property itself has so many amenities, like a fully stocked kitchen, painting nook, tons of boardgames and books. It also has a TV for cozy movie nights! The bedrooms were SO cozy too and the bathroom even had a jetted tub!! We were so sad to leave the Nook, and are already planning our trip back. Thank you again, Abby!

1 night at Fallbrook View Glamping Tent

The camp was perfect for my night away from the hustle of the city. The bed was comfortable, and even though it was cold outside, the tent kept it warm inside (there was an option for a space heater). The flush toilets were clean and private and the shower was overlooking the valley so the morning breeze felt amazing fresh out of the shower. The camp was set up to make outdoor cooking easy, and the chairs on the deck were a great touch to end the evening overlooking the valley as the sun set. Will absolutely visit again!

Shower is the shower and bathrooms and then said have a great night and to let him know if we needed anything. I highly recommend this spot for an amazing getaway. You won’t regret it!

We had a wonderful long weekend in the mountains at The Nook. Abby, our host was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was clean, cozy and well stocked with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend. The dirt road was a bit of a challenge but after a couple times back and forth you figure it out. Would stay there again.
