Our second visit and the accommodations were even nicer than last. We enjoyed viewing the rural landscape from the cozy bed. The room had everything we needed including coffee, mugs, and a microwave. The town of Lincoln is slow paced and friendly. A soak in the hot tub was so relaxing. Great weekend getaway.

Weekend Trip to Delta Respite
I had a wonderful stay here. The silence, stars, multitude of birds (including Sandhill Cranes!), water, and joyful farm animals were restorative for my soul. The rustic and charming cabin was delightful with a window view of splendid sunsets, cool art and stylistic decor, an efficient heater, and a spacious bathtub. The hosts were gracious, responsive, welcoming, and thoughtful; they went above and beyond in making sure my stay went well.

Weekend Trip to Delta Respite
Steve and Ceci are so open and generous, the spot is really beautiful, and the cabin is perfect for a solo getaway. I even saw river otters and sandhill cranes walking distance from the property. I highly recommend this spot!

We absolutely loved clamping at Solstice Farms! We checked in easily, directions were great! All the amenities and facilities were as described and clean! Tent was amazing and we slept so well listening to all the farm sounds. Highly recommend staying here for a couples or family getaway!

Ceci and Steve were so warm and accommodating for my dog and I last minute. I couldn't have imagined a better place to reset. This was my first time using hipcamp. I was set on finding a cozy inn to retreat to for the weekend and get somewriting done. Of course everything was booked or insanely expensive so I turned to hipcamp and I truly couldn't have planned it better. The cabin had everything I needed to be comfortable. You could really tell that so much thought went into every little detail. From the clawfoot tub, to porch with the little fenced in yard. Every light was on a dimmer! I was so charmed by this as someone who works with light a lot (photographer) and love creating ambiance! Clearly they poured their hearts into creating such an amazing space. I kept joking to my friends the cabin was like a storybook and I felt like I was the Celestial Seasons Bear.
They were both so sweet to my dog Beaux and we had lots of nice walks around the property and beyond. Only downside was it was a bit muggy and buggy at times so definitely prepare if you're sensitive to mosquitos or other critters. This was no fault of Ceci & Steve's and to be expected when visiting the Delta! Oh, and there really were so many amazing birds to view and the sound of birdsong and coyotes throughout the day and night. The whole experience was so dreamy and relaxing and I definitely want to go back!

I had such a restorative, restful time at Steve and Ceci’s beautiful cabin on their farm on Sherman Island. I had been worried that it was too close to civilization to give me the peace and quiet I was looking for but this couldn’t have been further from the truth. While the cabin was close enough to town to meet with friends in Walnut Creek or get supplies, it was far enough away to feel worlds away from San Francisco. Steve and Ceci were consummate hosts, providing everything I needed from additional firewood for the fire pit (and accompanying fire building assistance!) to bottled water. The clawfoot tub with bath salts was a particularly lovely touch but the cabin was extremely comfortable and well-appointed. My dog absolutely adored staying here, and was able to roam the large property that was completely fenced in, meeting the farm dogs and the chickens. There is even a hammock and a comfortable lounge chair to do some reading in the shade. What more could you ask for?

Delta Respite is exactly what I needed.
Ceci & Steve greet you when you arrive to explain things. Wonderful warm hearted folks who made me feel so welcomed. I’m an avid kayaker & birder and this certainly checked all the boxes. Be sure to have coffee on the hill in the morning. Great spot to greet the day!
I will return to this special place.

Weekend Trip to Delta Respite
The cozy cabin on Steve and Ceci's property was perfect for my solo getaway. The cabin has just what you need to unwind and relax - a lounge chair with a little fire pit, a soaking tub with a candle and bath salts with a rack to hold my kindle/book while soaking. The small table provided space to eat and sit to watch the bird bath and sunsets. Steve and Ceci were so welcoming to me and my dog, we are very grateful for their space!

Weekend Trip to Serene Country Paradise
Loved our stay! Kelly was incredibly welcoming. We spent most of our time in the pool and had a beautiful evening grilling and enjoying the view. The drive in is pretty long but very scenic. We stopped at a flower farm on the way home and also saw some breweries and wineries we want to check out next time.

it is a lovely spot on the delta. with the windows open a nice breeze flows in, you hear birds, and some farm animals nearby. the was some fresh produce to snack on, and ... the tub is fantastic.

Mary from Personal Creekside Camping was a gracious, kind, and informative host at our recent Hip Camp stay. Ideally located next to a relaxing creek loaded with blackberries, it was spacious and shaded. Her camp is ideally situated near Penn Valley and about 20 minutes from Grass Valley. The sky is dazzling with stars! Mary shared her experiences and recommended local spots to check out. Mountain Ranch Winery is a mere ten minute drive and if you don’t stop by to taste and engage with Bob, well you’ll miss out on a local gem and enlightened conversation. Be sure to check them out. The valley and surrounding area is full of friendly people, nature, culture, and great food. You won’t be disappointed with Mary and her property.

The view from the room (from the bed even!) was spectacular. Kelly’s place was a lovely, peaceful stay. The one-of-a-kind pool was so much fun and refreshing midday and the hot tub was great on a cool evening. Kelly was a great host and I can’t wait to go back!

Weekend Trip to Glamping Experiences Napa Valley
Lucy the retro trailer had everything we needed for a great weekend in Napa Valley. Very comfortable bed, they have an incredible outdoor shower and the land it sits on is secluded and quiet. The stand out to us was how incredibly nice and communicative David and Guy were. We hope to book with them again in the future.

Steve and Cecil’s property is amazing. I was feeling like time was going really fast in my daily routine and was looking for a short, solo break away to slow things down. This spot delivered! I really enjoyed wandering about, reading outside, taking a bath, and hanging out with all the animals. Chickens especially were super entertaining, always up to something. Winnie the pig is so incredibly special.
Steve and Ceci were such gracious hosts, and lovely people. I can’t recommend their place enough for a quick getaway!

We had a great time staying at Kelly's property. It checked all the boxes! Great views and lots of peace a quiet away from the city (except the squeals from the kids playing in the amazing pool and the cries from them that we had to leave). We were greeted warmly by Kelly who kindly provided a nice bottle of wine to celebrate my wife's birthday. That felt extra special. The accommodations were great, comfy bed, nice sized pullout for the kids, mini fridge and anything you'd need to enjoy a meal while there. We only stayed for 1 night but would have loved to have been able to stay longer!
