They are here a couple times per week, and also rent their camp. You may hear them having fun and engaging in target practice. The river is a shared space but it is rare to see anyone else. Noise travels in the canyon so you may hear occasional barking or other vehicles. Hearing coyotes sing at night is very common. Really lovely site and very kind host. It took us an hour to get to Pinnacles, so not quite as close as we thought - but a really beautiful stay. Fair warning - the directions are a little tricky and there isn’t any cell coverage. Would recommend taking a peak at you map before you lose coverage :)

Weekend Trip to Camp near Pinnacles National Park

We had a fantastic night at this camping spot. Despite arriving at night, we found the site easily. The site was spotless, and the amenities were as described. Waking up to the sunlight, we were greeted by breathtaking scenery. Our child thoroughly enjoyed petting the animals at the nearby farm. The communication with the host was excellent. We’ll definitely book this spot again when we return to the Pinnacles area.

Amazing location! Out of the way of the hustle and bustle of everything. Very nice level sites! And huge outdoor kitchen with all the perks! And nice quartz lined fire pit. Sounds of the ranch are prevalent. Horses, dogs and a very friendly cat, roosters and chickens. Other animals around, cows, sheep and goats. Lovely place to check out and chill!

We stayed there as a halfway stop on our way to Joshua Tree. I’m originally from the Caruthers area, so i wanted to see the area after a 55 year absence. Cheryl was a responsive and welcoming host. She sent us the gate code and let us find our way. Clear directions and easy to find. Beautiful setting. It was a rainy night, so being under cover was nice.

We had an awesome night’s sleep at RandCher. The space was perfectly clean and easy to park in. We were the only campers the night we stayed, and it was a treat to have so private a setting. The coyotes and birds were fun to listen to, and after they went to sleep (?) it was SO QUIET at the vineyard. Very peaceful. Highly recommend1

We absolutely loved our stay here! Veronica is such a warm and accommodating host who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The property itself is stunning, a beautiful non-profit space that feels like you have traveled far away to a peaceful savannah desert. We had the best time sitting around a bonfire with Veronica under a million stars, truly unforgettable. The location is perfect, close to Pinnacles National Park but feels worlds away from everything. Totally worth the drive, and we will definitely be back again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Magical Getaway! This campsite was everything we hoped for and more! It was peaceful, absolutely beautiful, and incredibly private—the perfect place to disconnect from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with nature. The entire experience felt enlightening and refreshing. The RV was extremely comfortable and homey, with cozy touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil we could’ve possibly needed, which made cooking super easy and enjoyable. The views were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. One of the best parts was being able to hike along the river and explore nature without seeing another person—just pure tranquility and wide-open space. Other things we loved: ✅ Super clean and well-maintained space ✅ Thoughtful host who clearly care about the guest experience ✅ Perfect balance of comfort and “outdoor adventure” ✅ A hidden gem that feels private but still safe and welcoming If you’re looking for a beautiful, serene escape where you can relax, recharge, and enjoy nature in complete privacy, this is the place. Weekend Trip to 40min to Pinn/Song of the Ancients

My group of 9 loved our stay at Song of the Ancients. Our site (#4) provided plenty of space for our 4 cars and teardrop trailer. It was also situated away from the other sites so it felt slightly larger and more private. Upon arrival we almost considered moving to site #3 due to it being located on the very end. However, site #3 partially sits on a slope that leads to small hill, which would be perfect for tents and stargazing, but site #4 ended up being a better fit for us and our sleeping set ups. Sites #1 and #2 were also nice and they seemed to offer the most shade. They're also closer to each other and might be more ideal for a large group that is interested in booking both of them together. Site #4 is nearest to the bathroom, but just know that people from the other sites will walk through your camp to get to it. It wasn't a big deal for us as everyone was super friendly, but we could tell they felt a bit awkward each time they passed through. There may have been another path to access it, but I don't think it was clearly marked. Veronica was a lovely and gracious host, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had plenty of wood during our stay. We especially enjoyed learning about her non-profit and the important work they do for surrounding communities and the revitalization of the California Blue Oak. Song of the Ancients is a beautiful place to camp, and we all left with a deeper appreciation for its landscape. My friends and I look forward to returning.

Just can't beat floating in an 80 degree pool under the stars! Everyone was very friendly and the amenities were wonderful. The private bathrooms and showers were lovely (although they are salt/ mineral water). The individual hot springs tubs were a great way to enjoy the magic power of hot springs and our campsite was wonderful

My stay at Veronica's campsite was unforgettable. If you're looking for a spot to see some amazing stars, this is it. I was blown away by how clear the sky was—you can see everything out here with zero city lights, except when the moon is high and bright. But what really makes this place special is the host, Veronica. She's just awesome—so friendly and welcoming from the second I got there. And she knows SO much about the land! It was super cool to hear her talk about the history, the blue oaks, and everything. You can tell she really cares about the place. It’s way more than just a campsite; it’s a whole vibe. Definitely book this place, you won't regret it! Already looking forward to the next trip, next time we can plant wildflowers. Highly, highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Glitter Cove Retreat

Beautiful private spot overlooking a river. Cindy has really done a great job with setup and decor. Everything is super functional and well thought out. The sleeping area is extremely comfortable with solar powered lights and fans everywhere. Bug nets surround you and if you want total protection from the outside there are canvas covers for all sides that zip up. Bathroom is clean and easy to use, shower is cute and had hot water during the day when we rinsed off from swimming. Cook area is great with stove, sink and bbq. I will note that wasps do show up when you cook meat and they do have wasp traps all around to deter them but that’s part of being in nature. We took our food inside the pergola and had no issues once inside the netting. The river is great, we swam in there swimming spot and fished as well. We caught some baby bass and a small catfish while there. We adventured up river and it was truly beautiful. At night we laid out a blanket on the beach and stared at the amazing night sky. We saw so many shooting stars, was truly amazing. Cindy also had a propane fire pit available for night time fun too. Night lights at camp were functional and beautiful as well. All in all this trip was amazing. Cindy was amazing. She met us at the gate and walked us through everything and answered all of our questions. She was in communication with us our entire stay and responded quickly. I recommend glitter cove 100%. Thanks Cindy!
