Summer is the perfect time to swim and lounge in the river. As the days heat up, the river begins to slow and warms up to a comfortable yet refreshing temperature. New beaches emerge, just waiting to be explored.
In late summer, early fall, there is a feeling of calm. The river slows significantly but still feels amazing to sit in. You can hear its gentle flow and soothing sound as it trickles over the rocks. This is a great time time to explore the river as it is mostly shallow with some swim holes.
Most of the time it is very quiet. There is another camp down stream owned by a wonderful family. They are here a couple times per week, and also rent their camp. You may hear them having fun and engaging in target practice. The river is a shared space but it is rare to see anyone else. Noise travels in the canyon so you may hear occasional barking or other vehicles. Hearing coyotes sing at night is very common. The rarely seen wildlife includes rattle snakes, bob cats, coyotes, fox, mountain lions and bears. Don't worry, our animal friends like to keep their distance. Hope to see you soon!

You are only about 5 minutes from town and restaurants. You will be camping and able to enjoy the private area outside the RV. Feel free to roam around the property and take in the scenery. Fire up the BBQ (Traeger & Blackstone Grill), play some cornhole, and enjoy the pool!
The owner lives in the main house and is available 24/7 to make your stay awesome.

Group trip
The site was great! It was well equipped to host a group of childhood friends grown into adults. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cooking equipment. Although one of the burners on the 2 burner stove didn’t work very well. The shower, bathroom, and bunks were all appropriate and comfortable. Unfortunately we choose one of the coldest nights to go but we were able to keep warm. To our surprise there was no running hot water. Not a big issue but worth knowing. There was a limited supply of hot water in the RV. The BBQ pit was the star of our trip! The trail and the property were beautiful. If you’re looking to enjoy the sound of the river and the wilderness this is the place.

Weekend Trip to WILDER BUNGALOW n/Yosemite!
We absolutely loved our time at the Wilder Bungalow! There were more fun features added since the pictures on the listing, so we were happily surprised. The outdoor tub was better than a hot tub in our opinion, and Lisa supplied us with washcloths when we needed them. We cooked quite a bit of our own food, so we could have used more cooking utensils but we made out okay. Average cleanliness when we got there. But we would definitely come back if we had a chance!

Weekend Trip to WILDER BUNGALOW n/Yosemite!
We loved camping at Lisa’s tiny home!! Everything was seamless — keyless entry, quick & easy communication with the host, amenities provided and clean, all set up for us. It felt so close to nature while still being an upgraded experience. They gave us firewood and fire starters for the chimenea, the tub was so easy to use, and the kitchen was well stocked for a tiny home. They even had a whole DVD binder. 10/10 would recommend this experience!! We will be back!

Weekend Trip to River Bluff Retreat
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Magical Getaway!
This campsite was everything we hoped for and more! It was peaceful, absolutely beautiful, and incredibly private—the perfect place to disconnect from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with nature. The entire experience felt enlightening and refreshing.
The RV was extremely comfortable and homey, with cozy touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil we could’ve possibly needed, which made cooking super easy and enjoyable.
The views were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. One of the best parts was being able to hike along the river and explore nature without seeing another person—just pure tranquility and wide-open space.

Beautiful private spot overlooking a river. Cindy has really done a great job with setup and decor. Everything is super functional and well thought out. The sleeping area is extremely comfortable with solar powered lights and fans everywhere. Bug nets surround you and if you want total protection from the outside there are canvas covers for all sides that zip up. Bathroom is clean and easy to use, shower is cute and had hot water during the day when we rinsed off from swimming. Cook area is great with stove, sink and bbq. I will note that wasps do show up when you cook meat and they do have wasp traps all around to deter them but that’s part of being in nature. We took our food inside the pergola and had no issues once inside the netting.
The river is great, we swam in there swimming spot and fished as well. We caught some baby bass and a small catfish while there. We adventured up river and it was truly beautiful. At night we laid out a blanket on the beach and stared at the amazing night sky. We saw so many shooting stars, was truly amazing. Cindy also had a propane fire pit available for night time fun too. Night lights at camp were functional and beautiful as well.
All in all this trip was amazing. Cindy was amazing. She met us at the gate and walked us through everything and answered all of our questions. She was in communication with us our entire stay and responded quickly. I recommend glitter cove 100%. Thanks Cindy!

What a magical place! I can confidently say that this was the BEST "glamping" experience ever! Our two daughters (ages 8 and 11), our two dogs, and my husband and I had a wonderful time. Cindy keeps the place immaculate and fully stocked with everything you need and more! The living spaces were comfortable and cozy. The setting couldn't have been better. We caught loads of fish and had complete privacy. Best hidden gem ever!

My husband and I along with our two teenage kids just spent the weekend at Glitter Cove. Cindy, the host was a great communicator throughout the process. Booking, directions to get there plus check-in was a completely smooth process. Cindy was there to meet us on arrival to give us a walk through and answer any questions. Then she left us to ourselves -so total privacy. The place was really clean and had everything we needed. The pergola and setting were beautiful. Lots of space for outdoor games and a great outdoor cook and dining space with a comfy sleeping set up. Outdoor composting toilet and shower worked great. It was very hot (we were there late August) but the swim holes in the creek and the solar powered fans in the pergola really helped. All in all a great stay and we will definitely go back again.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—close to the national parks, and Clovis is such a charming town. As a family of four (two adults and two kids), the RV was just right for us: comfortable, cozy, and with everything we needed. The pool was a big hit, and we loved having it to relax after our outings. We visited Yosemite and even stopped by the waterpark in Fresno on our way out, which made the trip extra fun. The host was very welcoming and hospitable. Highly recommend!

This beautiful land on Fresno Creek is very appropriately named. The sand sparkles with gold and the river is so clear you can see clearly to the bottom. Very private and host is very accommodating. My family appreciates the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful place. I highly recommend for parents or grandparents of Young teens that need to unplug from social media and connect with god and nature.

Glitter Cove is a true “Glamping” experience. Cindy has really thought of everything needed for a relaxing and extra comfortable retreat away from the crowds. It was hot but there is shade and water to swim in and after a long day at the beach you can have a nice shower and kick back on a couch or in a cozy bed!
