Most campsites are accessible by car and all campsites are accessible by foot. PLEASE NOTE, we do not have a traditional check in procedure. Campsites are first come first serve. Expect a "self-check in process" most of the time. However, there are sometimes people working onsite that you may run into, that are happy to help and lead you in the right direction. Great for your skin, not good to drink! There's a couple outhouses on the property. One in the main camp zone, one at the far north end of the lower Redwood campsite. You can also bring a shovel and take a walk if you're in the more remote campsites. We have a dumpster outside the gate for your garbage. IMPORTANT INFO Please don't mind our farm junk/tools as you enterGate 1! We are slowly working on clean up and relocation of materials from the entry road and away from view. This is located past the mineral baths. It's the furthest one to reach, and accessible by foot. We have grazing cattle fenced off from the camping areas and farm so you may see or hear them during your stay. The entrance to the camping area is a very wide oil pipe fenced driveway off Branch Road, designed to accommodate farm equipment and cattle trailers. Kevin was so friendly and welcoming; gave me a great overview of the property and even told me of a little hike I could take. One porta potty on the grounds, stocked with tp and is taken care of. Stayed for three nights---I was away during the days, but each night when I came back to camp it was great just to sit with a glass of wine by my tent and watch the stars. Staying in my little camper Daisy on the ranch felt so wonderfully safe, peaceful and homey! So much room to spread out for every camper - there were three others there - and still felt private. Having a closed gate on the property at night was wonderful. The porta-potty was so clean! The sunrises and sunsets were stunning, as well as the stars at night. I would gladly come back for another stay!

Both Tom's were very easy to work with given our spur of the moment camping trip! The registration to getting access to the camp site took less than 1 hr on a Saturday afternoon. We had the camp site to ourselves and would go back next time we are near Solvang! A hidden gem! Bring what you need and it's only a few minutes from downtown! 5 star!

2nd time at this campsite this year because we've loved it so much! Dave was very helpful once again, and it was a great trip for our bigger group. Was so nice having such a big space all to ourselves.

Weekend Trip to Creekside Camping and Mineral Baths

My boyfriend, small dog and I stayed for a night. We wanted something inexpensive where we could drive right up to the site, had someone on site because we had never been to the area and were getting in after sunset, and was in a wooded rural surrounding. The hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable. One of them met us at the entrance & took us around the property to explain the different site options (we were the only ones there! There were 8 different sites - all fairly close to each other, but I could tell that if multiple were full - you’d still have your own private space.) They brought us firewood and helped us set up our fire! I saw some negative reviews about the junk yard … which I’m confused about?! I thought it was super cool. It’s not anywhere near where you actually camp… it’s right when you pull onto the land and then you drive probably half a mile into the woods. It was cool to see all the stuff they have collected. From airstreams, to big CATS, cars, etc. Yea, can look a little eerie at first, but it’s apart of the experience. good place to stop and camp for a night when you are in between your trip. It’s super close to the town of Cambria - which has a ton of little restaurants, bars, etc. tons of farm animals surrounding. One of the guys who lives on site there, Rob, has starlink at his house and allows you to connect to it! Thanks Guys, you made us feel very safe. 👍

Weekend Trip to Rock Creek - RV Camping

OMG!!! I am SO EXCITED to have found Tom’s beautiful property at Rock Creek!! We love the Santa Ynez Valley and this spot is perfect to experience wine, golfing, biking and amazing cuisine. Beautiful quiet spot tucked behind the rolling hills. Doesn’t get much better…. and we will be back A LOT!!!

This camping area was perfect for our needs. Simple sites with picnic tables near beautiful old oak trees. Very friendly, low-key hosts with great communication. Super convenient location, especially for access to Vina Robles. Would definitely stay there again.

My partner and I stayed here for a couple of days mid-week, and it was divine. We hiked up the creek and took a little dip, visited the old mines, soaked in the mineral baths, and enjoyed the serene nature. The people who live on the property are also incredibly friendly and helpful. Such good energy! We will definitely be coming back!

We had the most incredible wedding camp-out here! 🌿✨ Dave was the absolute best host — kind, easygoing, and so helpful with every bit of logistics. He helped us organize things like fuel for our generators, firewood, and even connected us with an amazing caterer for our reception. Dave is just good people. For our potluck rehearsal dinner, he cooked the meats himself, and they were so delicious! The property itself is stunning — with wide-open views that made for the most beautiful sunsets and starlit nights. The built-in fire pit, flush toilet, and outdoor shower were such a treat and made our stay feel extra comfortable while still keeping that perfect camp vibe. It was always a joy to see Dave drive up with his two adorable pups in tow. Thanks to him and this magical spot, we were able to create the camp-out wedding of our dreams. The whole weekend was pure magic — the kind of experience we’ll be talking about forever.

Our preschool had a lovely time at David's camp. They had everything we needed, firewood, water, bathroom, grill, pit, and lots of space to run and walk around. We got lucky and saw the full corn move rise over the hills in front of our tents. It was a spectacular setting!
