We had a great one night stay at RockNWater Cove Camping! We stayed in Curley w/ an RV but definitely want to return to camp at one of the tent spots. The hosts, Kris and her husband, were super nice and answered lots of questions we had. The river access is really pretty w/ a nice beach area. Plusses are flush toilets, showers, propane fire pits with propane provided, potable water and electric hook ups. Looking forward to going back next summer!

As someone who loves camping it’s always so hard to get reservations at public parks. So thankful to Hipcamp and Kris for this site. We had a river view with a lovely public beach steps away. I got to wash my face in fresh river water in the morning. Kris’ husband checked up on us and made sure we had enough propane for the gas fire pit. It was a lovely stay and I hope I get to return!!

Riverside was smaller than the other camp sites, but it had the best view and was the most private in the camp. The larger camp itself was spread out. We had a wonderful stay! The campsite is set in a quiet and naturally beautiful spot along the American River — peaceful and relaxing with gorgeous scenery all around. The hosts were fantastic — very welcoming with great communication, and they made sure we had everything we needed. The location is perfect for hiking, with easy access to nearby trails. Super easy check in and check out. Camp site was perfect though a little close to the neighbors. Showers, restrooms and trash cans were all well maintained. Food and coffee was close. The river is pretty amazing. If the camp sites by the river are full, it can get a little crowded and noisy down there. Epic place. Hosts were awesome

What a beautiful campsite for our large group of 15! We had a great time with plenty of space to spread out. The bathrooms were conveniently located near our site and kept clean. River access was such a gem and made the stay even more special. There was plenty of shade to stay cool when needed, which was a big plus. Communication was clear, and instructions were easy to follow. We’re definitely adding this spot to our rotation! Thank you Matt!!

Had an amazing time at site 6! I think it’s the best site at this campground. It was perfectly shaded and so close to the river. The only downside is that it was far from the shower and flush toilets. We had a group of 8 and had three large tents on the site, and still had plenty of space for our tables and chairs. Matt was so great and informative about the area. We will definitely be coming again!

This place is a dream. it's probably one of the most beautiful camping spots that I've ever stayed. You can see the river from you spot but just a few steps to get to the water. Also we loved how private it is - there was a little noise but nothing to affect your stay. Some things to note: this spot does not have water or electricity on site. You will need to walk to get access to a sink and porta-pottys (but they are kept very clean). And the showers are even further away. but the site does have a gas fire pit (which we loved) and a canvas shade top that's over a picnic table. Also while the river is amazing, please note that it has a pretty strong current so if you have small children, I would strongly advise to bring a life jacket. Also, the couple that manages the grounds are amazing. the first night the power was out and I was having trouble finding the showers and Kris was very responsive. Also the next morning our car wouldn't start and she came to help us jump our car. Felt good to know that someone is there is case you need any help. Overall, we had an amazing trip and I would def recommend this place to anyone. oh, also right next door to the campsite is a company that I believe does rafting - we didn't do it but would love to do it next time.

We loved camping at RocknWater Cove. Really spacious, clean portapotties, it was great to have propane firepits, showers and so many picnic tables for our group. The little beach is amazing, and it was fun to hang out and cheer on the whitewater rafters during the days. Paul the camp host came by periodically to make sure we were well taken care of. The two sites nearest the water were best for beach access + privacy, and Oak was the best for beach access + gathering with our whole group.

As a proudly affordable option in Calistoga, all camps are set up to be user ready and campers are responsible for leaving the sites cleaned up and “better” than you found it. If this sounds good, read on! We offer rustic nature, space for tents and smaller RVs, and two levels of cabin camping just 10 minutes outside of our hometown, Calistoga. For glamping experience, CORAL CABIN guests have step up access to hot shower at the Hilltop “Cafe,” which also has a grill, sink, power outlets and Wi-Fi, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, and bathtubs for an extra charge. We currently try to rent one site at a time, so all sites have private access to amenities at the Hilltop Cafe. *Coral Cabin also has the largest, flattest spot for an RV, with great views and cabin access if you wanted.
