This is the perfect spot to host a private group camp where you can enjoy nature while being close to town. This is NOT the place to throw your alcohol fueled party or bring any sort of guns. We are about 7 minutes South of Middletown proper. We do have neighbors so noise is acceptable until 9pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends.
We provide compost, recycling, and trash options, and it's ESSENTIAL to use the correct receptacle. Directions were excellent and contact/communication were great. The spot is clearly marked and conveniently had water, power and a trash bin for use.
I had an issue with the power/extension cord initially. Let the host know and I believe it was fixed later at night. It wasn’t a huge issue as my solar battery had enough power for making coffee and using microwave in the morning. My heater worked off regular battery.
The location is convenient to get to downtown, which I did. It was all lit up for the Plaza lighting that evening. So fun!

We had a great one night stay at RockNWater Cove Camping! We stayed in Curley w/ an RV but definitely want to return to camp at one of the tent spots. The hosts, Kris and her husband, were super nice and answered lots of questions we had. The river access is really pretty w/ a nice beach area. Plusses are flush toilets, showers, propane fire pits with propane provided, potable water and electric hook ups. Looking forward to going back next summer!

As someone who loves camping it’s always so hard to get reservations at public parks. So thankful to Hipcamp and Kris for this site.
We had a river view with a lovely public beach steps away. I got to wash my face in fresh river water in the morning. Kris’ husband checked up on us and made sure we had enough propane for the gas fire pit. It was a lovely stay and I hope I get to return!!

Great location that is both close to the bathrooms and yet isolated from the other campsites at the Manzanita Camp. Lots of flat areas for tents, lots of room for parking, and only a five-minute walk to the river. Our three families really enjoyed our stay!

The Riverside site was private, near the river, and elevated safely above any possible changing river flow. Riverside was smaller than the other camp sites, but it had the best view and was the most private in the camp. The larger camp itself was spread out. Each individual site had its unique characteristics

What a beautiful campsite for our large group of 15! We had a great time with plenty of space to spread out. The bathrooms were conveniently located near our site and kept clean. River access was such a gem and made the stay even more special. There was plenty of shade to stay cool when needed, which was a big plus.
