A great place to stay just outside of the park. Be near the park, but feel that complete privacy. These sites are very spaced out from each other and are large. No need to cram together! We have 824 acres on a beautiful cattle ranch with two small ponds. On our property, you'll find frogs, turtles, oak trees, pine trees and stunning views of Yosemite.

When you come to the ranch it feels like you are hundreds of miles away from civilization, but still close to everything you need. It is incredibly peaceful!

The End of The Driveway is one big site for buses/RVs/big vans next to the Soup Kitchen. 1 Pine and 2 Pine are up a separate driveway on the ridge.
The driveway spot is down the driveway a couple hundred yards from where we usually are so you’ll more or less be on your own, depending on if we have work to do down there or if there are other campers. We are happy to chat or leave you be, just let us know what your needs are. If you’re looking for a more isolated spot, see the listings for 1 Pine or 2 Pine.
The 2nd area is “1 Pine” accessed by our second driveway that is 100 yards down the road from the farm. The driveway is kind of rough but definitely manageable with a truck, SUV or sedan if you’re willing to go for it. The drive goes up a couple hundred yards to the hilltop where there is a clearing and, you guessed it, 1 pine tree. From the back of the clearing there is a trail that leads you to 2 Pine, which is a walk that takes just a few minutes. 2 Pine is walk-in only but has great views of the sunset and is totally secluded and private and would be a good spot to either bring some friends for a little sunset party or for someone who wants to seriously unplug. There are plenty of flat spots to pitch a tent.

Car and RV campers are welcomed and there is plenty of car/RV parking on the asphalt lot outside the fence at the East Side of the property near the mailboxes at the intersection of Rte 4 and Brice Station Road.

The End of The Driveway is one big site for buses/RVs/big vans next to the Soup Kitchen. 1 Pine and 2 Pine are up a separate driveway on the ridge.
The driveway spot is down the driveway a couple hundred yards from where we usually are so you’ll more or less be on your own, depending on if we have work to do down there or if there are other campers. We are happy to chat or leave you be, just let us know what your needs are. If you’re looking for a more isolated spot, see the listings for 1 Pine or 2 Pine.
The 2nd area is “1 Pine” accessed by our second driveway that is 100 yards down the road from the farm. The driveway is kind of rough but definitely manageable with a truck, SUV or sedan if you’re willing to go for it. The drive goes up a couple hundred yards to the hilltop where there is a clearing and, you guessed it, 1 pine tree. From the back of the clearing there is a trail that leads you to 2 Pine, which is a walk that takes just a few minutes. 2 Pine is walk-in only but has great views of the sunset and is totally secluded and private and would be a good spot to either bring some friends for a little sunset party or for someone who wants to seriously unplug. There are plenty of flat spots to pitch a tent.

We had the most amazing time on Jeremy’s property. It’s absolutely beautiful and our campsite was everything we could have asked for. Jeremy was so kind and accommodating when I wanted to change the dates due to weather and was even more welcoming when we arrived. The campsite is just a 15 minute walk down to the lake which is wonderful, we spent the entire day there. Our dog would probably also like to say that he had a great time playing with the puppy all day. Thanks again can’t wait to come back!

This was my second time here. I brought a friend, and we had the best & most relaxing time. Together we have a little pack of 4 small dogs that just loved to run around in the wild and befriend Allen's little crew of rescue dogs. The place is so peaceful & gorgeous. I loved the spaciousness. It was a huge grassy lot and I could park in just about any space. I liked the automatic gate, that it had a picnic table, decent looking bathroom and freshwater hose to fill my water tank. One minor problem was there were some bugs flying around in the field that came into my van, so it took some time to chase them out again (I hate bugs.)

This campground was absolutely incredible! We were wanting to camp in Yosemite, but (of course) all the campsites were full, so we came here instead. It was the best decision ever! The grounds were beautiful, and the scenery was stunning. There were maybe a couple of other campers, so it was super peaceful and private. Lots and lots of cows! They were very vocal too haha! They were afraid of people, but the donkeys were very friendly. The amenities were a tad rustic, but I think that’s part of the charm. About a 30min drive to the Big Oak Flat entrance to Yosemite, and then another 30mins from there down the canyon to the welcome center. Totally doable for a day trip to Yosemite. 10/10 would recommend!!

My wife, her cousin and our two dogs enjoyed Cole Ranch as a beautiful river side camp ground with nice grassy area to kick back for four nights under unseasonally warm spring weather. Barry and is wife were very welcoming and helpful as all the water toys to enjoy the river were at your disposal along with fishing gear and a nice bbq area by the river to enjoy large gathering if you were so inclined to have a family or friend gathering.

Camping at the Ranch at Cross Road was Great! Easy access to the freeway (perfect for en-route camping); behind a locked gate, so I felt secure; and it cools off nice at night. There are NO shrubs/trees here, so if it is hot, this camp has no shade relief. It also means that there isn't any privacy between sites--however, there is decent space between campsites, which is very much appreciated! I camped on a Sunday night, so there was plenty of space between myself and what few other campers were there. It's my second time here, and I'd do it again! we got there pretty late (after dark) and it would have been difficult to find had we not been given the perfect directions from john + the multiple signs guiding us the right way! the only thing is that the bugs swarm by the hundreds there. we had to leave to set up the car and get ready to sleep and drive back to the actual site, which we were annoyed by, until we woke up to the most perfect sunrise and views and cows!! all of that was so worth it. there were a bunch of other campers there cooking and sitting outside at around 8pm, so i’m not sure how they were dealing with the flies and gnats. maybe there was something we were missing lol. but after that i totally recommend!

This campsite exceeded all expectations. The space was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. You can tell a lot of care goes into the property. Wilson the dog was there to greet and hang out with us. He was super friendly. It felt secluded and relaxing, but still had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was responsive and helpful without being intrusive. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

The ranch is a huge property that has plenty of space for multiple groups to camp all at once. The shower and bathroom are amazing… you could call it an outhouse, but really it is a full service bathroom and an incredible shower open to the sky.
Each site has a fire pit and picnic table.
I definitely suggest bringing a pop-up shelter and tarps so you can put your picnic table in the shade.
I suggest is 4 to 6 bundles of wood per night. There is a local business along Tesla Road that sells firewood near Vasco Road.
We stayed four days three nights and there were hawks and we found a snake and a toad, and there were coyotes at night and really that was wonderful.
We had to intended to go hiking at all of the great spots around there, but ended up playing a lot of Dungeons & Dragons, padded weapon, sparring, and guitar/singing around the fire. I promise we really didn’t mean to go hiking!

March 2027 will be our third year in a row camping at Matt’s property, and I could not suggest it more!!

Luna and I had a great time at Ceci’s farm. Luna enjoyed running around free in the fenced in farm. I enjoyed the little cabin which had everything I needed - fridge, work table, comfortable bed, and last but not least an awesome bath tub that you can use. It was a perfect break from the daily routine.
An additional delight was meeting Ceci the owner. She’s so warm and interesting to talk to.
