NOTE: If you are using the regular charter service, your stay on Porphyry Island must be either 3 nights (Thursday to Sunday) or 4 nights (Sunday to Thursday). Shorter stays require arranging private charter services (see below).
If you do not have your own boat, private charter trips can be booked for groups from Silver Islet with Archie's Fishing Charters and Lighthouse Tours or from Thunder Bay with Sail Superior.

We loved our stay. The tent was perfect and even though we are in September we asked and they provided a small electric fireplace to heat up the place and it was perfect.
The tent is spacious and beautiful.
I love that the main building is so close with all the necessities.
There's a roofed kitchen /dinning area so cooking was easy with the provided BBQ and the sink.
We had the chance to use the hotub which was really nice, my kids loved it.
The big sand pit keeped my kids busy most of the time.
We did a cozy fire, with wood and paper provides.
We had a wonderful stay I would recommend this place for sure.

What a fantastic experience, my girlfriend and I were looking for a cute camping retreat for a night. We stumbled across this cute site, the host Mike and Jenny were absolutely amazing. Such humble and thoughtful people, and their farm that they have is beautiful. We got to see the animals he has and how gentle he treats them. Mike took us for a little tour of his property and explained the area to us and the history of it all. The tent and setup he provided for us was incredible, something the both of us will never forget. Star gazing at night and having the beautiful light set up as we lit a fire was very romantic. The bother of us will be attending again forsure! We can’t say enough good things about the stay and the hospitality the hosts gave us. Truly a remarkable experience!

Caycee & Matt were very welcoming. They even left a card for me inside the tent. The tent was gorgeous. Situated in the middle of a grove of white birch.Very comfortable bed, a wing-back chair, a place to sit down and have coffee, a refrigerator - everything I needed.
Matt left firewood for me to make a fire if I wanted to.
The privy was spotless and smelled like cedar!
I was on my own this time around, but I would happily return with my partner someday.
I had just travelled about 3000 km on a motorbike, and I woke up refreshed and ready for the road again.

Weekend Trip to Coyote Song Farm & Forest
What a beautiful spot! The tipi is beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed and warm duvet. There's a fire pit, barbecue, small kitchen area and plenty of seatting. Its decorated with cute little lights which make it all very cosy. The campsite is very private and sits in a stunning forest/small veggie area. The coyotes pass by at night which is also quite a special experience. Just lovely! Highly reccomend.

1 night at Coyote Song Farm & Forest
The camp is in a truly secluded spot. A few short trails make you feel the space around as remote. The opening above invites to the star gazing. A group of waxwings on the high dry tree live nearby. We wondered if they were always there at the sunset... A mix of herb aromas, milkweed dominated the night we spent there.

Our family recently stayed here and we cannot recommend it enough. If you love the idea of being surrounded by nature but still want the comfort and convenience of modern life, this is the perfect spot.
The site itself was beautiful and well-maintained. The accommodations were complete with all the essential amenities, making the experience completely stress-free. It was the perfect balance of a rugged outdoor vibe and total comfort.
The hosts were helpful and hospitable and quick to answer our questions.

This is such a nice spot for the “glamping” experience with enough amenities to make you feel super comfortable.
The bed in the yurt was really comfortable. The property is quiet and private. I would highly recommend this spot and would love to book again soon. It’s also only about 45 mins from Toronto!
