BOOKING SPRING 2025 72 Acres of primarily sugar maple forest with a secret stand of mature white pines on Taylor Creek. Some walking trails with a beautiful Oak Amphitheatre for wedding ceremonies. Parking is 4 km from the renowned Robertson Cliff main trailhead, overlooking the Goulais River Valley and Lake Superior. The property is excellent for forest bathing, active rest, bird watching, unplugging, camp fires and star gazing. Great biking opportunity to Robertson Cliff trailhead followed by a hike to the scenic lookouts, and cap it all off with a cold exposure plunge in Robertson Creek Waterfall.Come ground yourself at the Birch Grove Bell Tent site, with a warm and welcoming environment to relax and unwind. The soundscapes and limited light pollution make it a regenerative place to stay. There is an outhouse about 10 metres away from the bell tent, walking trails on site through mixed deciduous forest (Great Lakes- St. Lawrence forest type). Taylor Creek flows through the far East side of the 72 acre forest. 4 km from the parking lot.

The site was more than we imagined when we booked it! It was well groomed, well prepared and felt absolutely magical! We would recommend this to anyone.

Birch Grove Bell Tent
This place is amazing! The two tents are spacious, beautifully set up, and incredibly well-equipped. Directions were clear, parking was easy, and the host was super helpful throughout. The sleeping tent had a gorgeous bed with clean, comfy sheets, and the second tent had everything I needed — a kettle, cooktop, dining table, clean water, and more. I spent the day at a nearby beach and then relaxed by the firepit in the evening, surrounded by stunning birch trees. I can’t recommend this place enough — a perfect mix of comfort and nature!

Blessed and Grateful
Birch Grove Bell Tent
Matt and Caycee not only provided an incredible, sacred place to get away to, but put so much thought into what they have been establishing. They recommended and showed us around some magnificent places. We went canoeing on Lake Superior, and bathed in the waterfall. This was the adventurous, restful, fun and playful experience we were needing. The atmosphere was everything, the peace, tranquility, I felt like royalty yet amongst simplicity, connected to nature and shut off from the world. The scenery is majestic, and the little details in everything they set up for us brought a joy and warmth to my heart. Forever grateful, and we will be back! xo

Birch Grove Bell Tent
What a fantastic night’s sleep in a magical spot! We arrived late and in the dark but Caycee and Matt were there to great us and welcomed us with a cozy campfire! We hope to return again soon and have more time to enjoy this special spot!

Birch Grove Bell Tent
I really enjoyed staying at Caycee & Matt's campsite. I was mountain biking in the area and needed a place to rest for a couple of days. It was easy to find and in a peaceful spot in the woods. The bedroom in the canvas tent felt like a fancy hotel and the bed was comfy and warm for the cool nights. There is another canvas tent with a couch and dining table where you can relax as well. I had a nice campfire one night with the supplied firewood. I also enjoyed the walking trail through the woods. Overall, I highly recommend staying here.
