There is a small cabin and two camp sites to choose from.
Site 1 is best suited for tents and small campervans, less than 18' or so (though people with small trailers like tear drop campers have been fine).
Site 2 has a much larger flat area that can hold RVs up to 30'.

Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know!
Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. We strive to provide a place to enjoy the peace & quiet of nature, so it's not a place to party or have music loud enough for neighbours to hear.
Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest & bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise.
Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer & fall & world-class fishing. The area features Class I–IV rapids for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just 5 or so minutes away. You can ATV right out of our gate onto unlimited logging roads and trails or hike the Trans Canada Trail 3 blocks from our gate.
There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the picnic shelter. There is a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for protection due to a drop-off & undercut banks.
ATV's are idle in - idle out.
QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them and not leave them unattended.
LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights.
CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times!
FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full & is available between 9 AM and 8 PM.
BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef jerky for sale (this cow was treated as a pet until her time & was dispatched on the farm to avoid stress). We occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens.
Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! The gate must be kept closed because of them.

We live in a little off-grid cabin deep in the Yalakom Valley in a small community of rustic-living and friendly folks. Please note that this property is located 40 km outside of Lillooet. Part of the road is a dirt road and a bit bumpy, best for cars that don't mind roughing it a little bit, and best for people who don't fear cliffs. You also lose service 5 minutes outside of Lillooet.
The property is surrounded by one other large private lot on one side and some steep crown land on the other. You can explore our lot down to the river or you can drive to other locations like the Horseshoe (a great swim spot), Carpenter Lake (great for swimming, too), Lac La Mere (good for fishing), Carol Lake, and much more.
All sites are located 150-200 feet away from our main house and share the same outhouse. However, it is unlikely for us to have more than one site booked the same time, so there is ample privacy.
This is a somewhat rustic and rugged spot- if you are looking for fancy glamping this is not the space for you! Vancouverites, you've been warned!

We undertook renovations, lived in it for 6 months and then moved into a yurt on a more accessible section of our property. There is a fancy outhouse that flushes water and is equipped with a sink. This space is best suited for a single, a couple, and possibly a fur baby and/or little one.
We are located on a quiet residential street 20 minutes from Port Alberni and en route to Tofino or Ucluelet. We have walking and mountain biking trails minutes from the house.
If you are bringing a fur baby, please let us know. It must be on a leash at all times. Please bring your fur baby's favourite blanket or bed to sleep on. We kindly ask that you keep your fur baby off the furniture and bed, and that you please not leave your pet unattended.
The Portal has internet and spotty cell service. There is an outlet for charging, etc. Parking is on-site. Local food options include the "The Fish & Duck Pub" which is just a short walk away. Nearly every cabin features a small table and chairs and a mini-fridge plus an outdoor fire pit and a picnic table. The cabins’ decks are surrounded by forest. Firewood is available for $30/wheelbarrow on site when available (unless we have a fire ban.)

Everyone has easy access to the spa-like washrooms with coin-operated hot showers and flush toilets. Children 8 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult in the Wash house. There’s a dish washing station in the center of the Wash House where you can refill your water jugs and bottles or wash dishes. Please do not use for washing hair or laundry or tooth brushing. We ask that you conserve water and keep the Wash House clean.

We are located right at the Earl's Cove Ferry Terminal, tucked into a beautiful wooded area.
We're just a 1-minute walk from The Cove Restaurant and the Earls Cove–Saltery Bay ferry.
Less than a 5-minute drive from stunning Ruby Lake and about a 10-minute drive from Egmont, the Backeddy Pub, and Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park, the property is ideally situated for exploring the area.
This getaway is perfectly located for anyone looking for a short pit stop on the way up the coast or a leisurely stay to explore the stunning surroundings.
The property offers a few options for overnight guests:
• A tent pad (camping gear can be provided by the hosts if needed), with access to a shared kitchen and, starting in June, an outhouse and outdoor shower to be shared with guests staying in the pavilion.
• A cozy pavilion with power and heat, shared access to a washroom and outdoor shower, and its own small fridge, hot plate, and BBQ.
• A bedroom in the main cabin for up to two guests, with shared access to a bathroom in the cabin.
All guests are welcome to use the common kitchen, located at the top of the property.
Guests are also welcome to use the two kayaks and two paddleboards provided by the owners.
There are plenty of scenic trails, hidden bays, and beautiful viewpoints to explore nearby, as well as throughout the Sunshine Coast. Madeira Park and Pender Harbour are both only about 20 minutes away by car.
Please note: A small ferry terminal is nearby, which adds a bit of local coastal activity during the day. Ferry arrivals and departures can create brief noise for a few minutes at a time, typically between 6:30 AM and 9:30 PM.

A very remote, tranquil log cabin fishing camp hand-built in the 1960's. Akehurst Lake Wilderness Resort is only accessible by ATV (snowmobile in winter) or by foot (a 9-minute walk from the parking lot). There is no public access to the lake so it is wonderfully private & peaceful.
We offer 5 cabins in total with some areas suitable for tents.
There is a day-lodge with a kitchen and eating area for guest's use, kayaks, row boats, and a paddle board free for use as well as a wood-fired sauna!
The lake is excellent for swimming. It is feet-friendly, shallow, and has no sudden drop-offs. And if you like to hike, fish or BOTH then this is the place for you. There are many nearby lakes that are a short drive/ride and hike away!
Akehurst Lake does not have cell service or wifi. Lights are made possible by a gas generator in the evening. There is only cold running water in the day-lodge sink which is seasonal and depends on if the creek is running. Guests should be comfortable being in the woods and aware that if no one else is there, they will need to light the stove and fridge and operate the generator if needed.

Our ranch is on Gun Creek Road, close to Tyax Lake, 30 minutes from Gold Bridge and Bralorne. It is about 2 hours west of Lillooet or north of Pemberton (6 hours from Vancouver) on a remote road with paved and gravel sections and no cell service.
There is no cell service or TV at our location. Wi‑Fi is usually available but cannot be guaranteed due to weather and other natural factors outside our control. We have access to a landline if urgent calls need to be made.
You are responsible for leaving the cabin/your room and the area around it clean and free of food and garbage. Each guest is responsible for cleaning the cabins when they leave, such as doing the laundry, washing all dishes. At the end of your stay, please bring all garbage to the main house so we do not attract critters and bears.
We live in a true wilderness environment. The cabin water system uses filtered creek water and, though not common, there is always the possibility for water pressure to fluctuate.
Weather and other variables can change quickly in the mountains. We expect guests to approach challenges with a positive, solution‑oriented mindset and to be respectful of nature, other guests and our team. We are experienced in dealing with nature’s challenges and will find a solution together.

My stay at this cabin was so relaxing! I could sit on that little front porch at twilight every night forever. The cabin itself is simple but lovely, I used the bed on the main floor and it was very comfortable. Being able to relax and cool off in the AC during the hottest part of the day was a lifesaver. Darcy is a great host, very friendly and professional. He came to the cabin and made sure I knew how everything worked when I arrived. There was a small issue with the shower on the first day, but he was very responsive and got it fixed up right away. The BBQ available for use is really nice and it was clean and ready to go. Having the propane included was very much appreciated. As stated in the listing, you definitely need 4 wheel drive or a higher vehicle to be able to park right at the cabin. Overall, great spot and I would recommend it!

Amazing place, kitchen and bedroom was huge, great to cook in and have time away, the creek was lovely to walk down and swim in, our dog loved the place too! Having access to the garden was awesome being able to pick fresh greens to cooking them up then onto our plate within the same hr was something special! Only a 40 min drive from town, the road access during the summer was great for our 2wd drive car a little bumpy but was well worth it! Would recommend

This place was great. Its about an hr drive down a fire road, very secluded. Peaceful when my dogs didn't bark (sorry other guests, city dogs lol). If you are looking for a slightly built up off grid cabin this is the place. Would be great to bring a group of friends to.
The trail from the parking lot is 10min, in hiking trail condition not manicured walking trail. So backpacking things in is easiest, but can make it with luggage with off road wheels.

Darcy has a great spot, close to wineries, Armstrong, Salmon Arm and Enderby. I had a restful solo trip away. The cabin is lovely, pine inside, quiet. Sitting on the porch at night is relaxing. I bbqed one night, I brought my own cutlery etc cooler. I really liked the outdoor shower, the outhouse is close. . Great biking on the country roads. Lovely hosts !

Perfect stay for the two nights that I needed it for. Andrew was very responsive to my messages and very helpful when I had questions.
I slept great in the comfortable queen size bed and enjoyed the peace of the forest and the forest views from the deck, as well as large windows from inside the portal.
A quick walk brought me to the dock and swimming area. I watched the sunset and a boat race while I was there. Definitely a great place to swim, if wanted. I would definitely stay here again.

The cabins are supplied with bedding, a BBQ, propane & wood burning fire pits - with free wood.
The cabins have power, but no plumbing. There is an outhouse and sink and shower dedicated to your site about 20 feet up the trail. They also have a group hot tub!
The owner is super friendly and is situated on site. He has created these phenomenal masterpieces himself.
You are higher up and get a nice view of the valley. The drive to Enderby is about 15 minutes, but there is a beautiful lake only a 5 minutes away that has amazing paths and a perfect paddle opportunity! No motorized boats allowed!

We had an amazing stay at Darcy’s cabin while we were in the area for a lacrosse tournament. The location was perfect, and conveniently situated between Salmon Arm and Enderby, making it easy to get where we needed while still enjoying a peaceful retreat. The views were absolutely beautiful and made it the perfect place to relax after busy days at the rink.
The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including the firewood, BBQ with propane provided, and the clean bathroom and hot shower facilities.
