Beautiful 11-acre property featuring a sacred arbutus tree and Garry oak trees. The property is home to an abundance of wildlife, including deer, rabbits, frogs, eagles, hawks, and owls. Located at 264 Sarah Way and Just a 6-minute drive away is Cushion Lake, a beautiful, family-friendly lake with warm water that's perfect for swimming. Blackburn Lake is only 8 minutes away and offers another warm swimming lake with a clothing-optional beach. The property is surrounded by beautiful hiking trails, with trail access within walking distance. Guests often comment on how quiet and peaceful it is here, with beautiful scenery and a pristine natural environment surrounded by forest. There are no bears or cougars on Salt Spring Island, making the property especially safe in that regard. Located just a 6-minute drive from Cushion Lake. More details coming soon!

Central site has a capacity for three to six people. The capacity is limited only by water and power usage, so if you are a low power user and just need to power, cell phones and laptops and some nightlight then this site can accommodate 5 to 7 people. The same holds for Water. Although there is abundant water on the property, this property honours the islands need to preserve water. Besides being a tasty well, Water property we also triple filter to water and UV purify it so there is absolutely no risk of any kind of contamination. The water does not contain any additives or chlorine and things like that. The central site has a breathtaking view of Mount Maxwell and Burgoyne Bay. It is surrounded by Arbutus trees and has one sacred grandfather Gary Oak watching over. This site is the sole site on the property that has a designated campfire spot. If they users of this site, wish to do so they can have a campfire and also invite other sites for a gathering of music, song and dance. This site generally has access to the cooking kitchen and shower/bathing unit. Use of the bathing unit for 10 minutes is an additional $10. Use of the cooking kitchen for this site is an additional $20 per day. Large RVs or vechicle lengths over 14 feet are generally not recommended for this area but please inquire in a case by case basis. The sites are versatile and somewhat flexible.

Arbutus Shade

This is a great spot on the property for those looking for a very well shaded area. This is a proper RV site for those who have low power and water requirements. The tent (The cost includes the use of the tent) . shown in the pic occupies the site if RVs or camper vans not using.

Denis is such a kind and unique soul who wants to share his own little piece of paradise on the island. His sites are primitive and need work so do not go if you are looking for luxury. But if you need a place to lay your head in nature while exploring the island then this is your spot.
