We are located right at Earl's Cove Ferry terminal, tucked in a beautiful wooded area. We're a 1 minute(!) walk from The Cove Restaurant, and the Earls Cove-Saltery Bay ferry. Less than 5 minutes drive from stunning Ruby Lake, about a 10 minutes drive from Egmont, the Back Eddy Pub, and Skookumchuck Rapids Park. The getaway is perfectly located for anyone looking for a short "pit stop" on the way up the coast, or a leisurely stay to explore the stunning surroundings. The property offers a few options for overnight guests: - A tent pad (hosts can provide camping gear if necessary), with access to a shared kitchen, and starting in June, an outhouse and outdoor shower (to be share with people staying in the pavilion. - A cute little pavilion with power and heat, with shared access to washroom and outdoor shower, as well as its own small fridge, hotplate and bbq. - A bedroom in the main cabin for 2 people max, with shared access bathroom in the cabin. All guests have access to the common kitchen if desired, which is located at the top of the property. They are also welcome to the 2 Kayaks and 2 paddleboards provided by the owners. There are lots of nice trails and gorgeous little hidden bays and viewpoints to explore, nearby as well as all the way up and down the Coast with Madeira Park and Pender Harbour only 20 minutes or so away by car.Cozy Downstairs Cabin Retreat Quaint and simple cabin-style stay tucked beneath the main home. This cozy 10x10 ft space features a comfortable queen-size bed and a peaceful atmosphere perfect for travelers looking for a basic, affordable place to rest and recharge. The cabin has a rustic tiny-home feel with a minimalist setup and easy access to shared amenities. Guests have access to a separate shared kitchen building equipped with a full-size refrigerator, along with a shared bathroom and washing machine. Clothing can be sun dried outdoors. Ideal for guests who appreciate simplicity, quiet surroundings, and a laid-back camping-style experience with a little extra comfort. Please note: A small ferry terminal is nearby, which adds a bit of local coastal activity during the day. Ferry arrivals and departures can create brief noise for a few minutes at a time, typically between 6:30 AM and 9:30 PM.
