Site 1 is best suited for tents and small campervans, less than 18' or so (though people with small trailers like tear drop campers have been fine). Site 2 has a much larger flat area that can hold RVs up to 30'. Cabin available for those that want to sleep in a cozy bed and have a warm fire :) Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know! Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. The combined population of Kelowna and Penticton was a mere 7,000, and the First World War was just wrapping up. A bustling new sawmill on the shore of Chute Lake had a crew of hardworking loggers thinking it was time to build themselves a place to sleep and eat. Raw materials certainly wouldn’t be an issue, located in the middle of a forest. The crews worked all day turning trees into logs. Soon enough those logs were being hauled from the mill and up a gentle slope to the proposed location of the new bunkhouse. A few years later, the Kettle Valley Railway would arrive, and the mill and freshly built bunkhouse would take on additional roles. It served as a water stop for the steam engines that pulled the passing trains. Enterprising mill workers would even sell some of the large fish they pulled from the lake to the dining carts. These were the formative years Chute Lake Lodge. Cabins have been added and in the 1980s, the central lodge building nearly doubled in size. The restaurant was added with lodge rooms above. The railway that ran directly in front was converted into one of the best cycling paths in the province.

A few years later, the Kettle Valley Railway would arrive, and the mill and freshly built bunkhouse would take on additional roles. It served as a water stop for the steam engines that pulled the passing trains. Enterprising mill workers would even sell some of the large fish they pulled from the lake to the dining carts. These were the formative years Chute Lake Lodge. Cabins have been added and in the 1980s, the central lodge building nearly doubled in size. The restaurant was added with lodge rooms above. The railway that ran directly in front was converted into one of the best cycling paths in the province.

Our current project is building our “aging in place” hemp lime cottage. Once completed it is our plan to build an in ground greenhouse. Additional future plans include building for a music studio, further development of our food forest, and the offering of self development training workshops. Private 0.65 acres across from Eagle Pass trail. Tons of parking for trucks & trailers. Sleeps up to 5 single adults or a family of 6. An easy 35 to 45 minute commute to all the local mountains and lakes between Sicamous Lakes & Revelstoke. You will never run short of things to do. Also great during hunting season and for snowmobilers, skiers & snowboarders during winter season fun. GUEST ACCESS Guests can access all parts of the property except for the shop, which is off limits. Also, please remember that there is wildlife in the area. Please do not leave food outside and always keep the cabin door closed so smaller animals will not enter and make it their home. GUEST INTERACTION I am available by phone, text or email anytime. If it is an emergency then please call or text. There are also 2 site managers available upon request for any urgent issues that may arise and for snow removal. CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS There is a digital deadbolt on the front door. I will message you the code on check-in-day. To unlock the door simply enter the code and wait for the lock to open. You can manually lock the door from the inside. When leaving for the day simply close the door and press the lock symbol and the door will lock. NEIGHBOURHOOD OVERVIEW Also close by is the Crazy Creek Suspension Bridge and Hot Pools just 5 minutes down the road towards Revelstoke. The Perry River is just a 3 minute walk down the road and Eagles River across HWY #1.

Better than advertise. The Kevin was new and clean. The wood stove kept us very warm and toasty. The firepit was well stocked with cedar cut offs . Hot pool was extremely relaxing and had a great vibe. We added a canoe to our trip and fished Gardom Lake. Excellent experience, we'll be back !

We really enjoyed Darcy’s cabin. It was simple, quaint and so peaceful. The outdoor shower was awesome and the pit toilet was clean and not smelly. The supplied propane fire ring made the atmosphere cozy as there was a fire ban. The views were lovely. As Aussies, we’d remind other campers that cutlery and glassware is not supplied- but this did not take away from our experience at all!

They greeted us with a smile and were incredibly accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. The resort itself is a perfect blend of peaceful nature and fun amenities. Our site was spacious and private, nestled among beautiful, tall trees, providing a serene escape after a day of adventure. The facilities are top-notch and impeccably clean, from the well-maintained washrooms to the sparkling pool. The kids were entertained for hours with the mini-golf, playground, and pickleball court, while we enjoyed relaxing by the campfire at our site. The on-site store is a lifesaver, offering a fantastic selection of ice cream and other treats. What we love most is the fantastic location. It feels secluded and tranquil, yet it's just a short drive to the beautiful Shuswap Lake and the town of Salmon Arm, with its charming downtown, great restaurants, and access to a wealth of outdoor activities. We spent our days exploring local hiking trails and relaxing at the beach, knowing we had a cozy and welcoming campsite to return to. We loved our stay! The site was quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Everything matched the photos, and the hosts really thought of all the little details. The AC worked perfectly, and they kindly provided a gas firebowl since there was a fire ban in effect. Just note that the hot tub won’t be available during fire bans, as it’s connected to the way it’s heated. The outdoor shower was a highlight, it made the experience even more unique. One important tip: follow the driving directions exactly as provided, otherwise it’s very easy to get lost. Overall, a wonderful spot that we’d happily return to!

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at Darcy's cabin. It was private, comfortable, and although it got cold outside at night, the cabin stayed warm without having to light the indoor wood stove. Although the trees obstructed the view, at night we were able to stargaze around the campfire. Darcy was attentive to our needs and with a small fee, delivered and picked up 2 kayaks we rented to spend the day at Gardom Lake. Would definitely return in future!

We stayed at Deep Creek Cabin as a family of five (our youngest is 1), and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin feels super private and peaceful—tucked away in the trees—but Darcy was always just a message or short walk away if we needed anything. It’s got a rustic vibe in the best way, but still includes modern touches like lots of power outlets in the cabin, a BBQ with propane, a kettle, and even toilet paper in the nicest outhouse I’ve ever seen (which we really appreciated!). Firewood, camping chairs, and an axe were all provided, which made hanging around the fire pit easy and fun. The outdoor shower is amazing—the hot water and great water pressure were a huge plus. Recommend bringing towels, shampoo, and shower gel. We also recommend packing a cooler for your food, kitchen gear (plates, cutlery, paper towels, etc.), bin bags, bug spray, and something to roast marshmallows with. We rented Darcy’s kayaks and life jackets, and spent a day at Gardom Lake a 5 min drive from the cabin—super chill spot, sandy beach, lots of parking, and we basically had it to ourselves. Overall, a great mix of comfort, nature, and quiet. We’d 100% come back. Perfect for camping novices, young families, or anyone who wants to enjoy a peaceful night in the woods—with the luxury of their own private toilet and hot shower.
