Come camp on a 40-acre parcel backing onto crown land mountains and wake up in front of 10 acres of vineyard and a view of Okanagan Lake! There is a small cabin and two camp sites to choose from. Site 1 is best suited for tents and small campervans, less than 18' or so (though people with small trailers like tear drop campers have been fine). Site 2 has a much larger flat area that can hold RVs up to 30'. Cabin available for those that want to sleep in a cozy bed and have a warm fire :) Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know! Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. Peachland is within easy reach of over 200 estate wineries and microbreweries.

Renters will need to bring all of your bedding including pillows. (There are coin operated laundry facilities on site) 2. You will also need to bring your own towels, there are some dish clothes and tea towels available in the park model for your use. 3. A propane tank will be available for use and there is a gas station where you can get it filled up for use of the BBQ and firepit should it run out. 4. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes and such you should need including some basic spices for cooking. There is a grocery store just a couple minutes away that can cover all of your needs including a liquor store, and a deli. 5. If you have any questions about the park or concerns with your rental please contact us directly as this is a private rental the park office will not be able to help you. 6. Located about 35 minutes drive outside of Kelowna on Rock Creek HWY 33. Approximately 7 minutes past the turn off to Big White Ski Resort. The address of Storia Vale is 9046 Painted Cliffs Private Road, lot #11. Both numbers are clearly marked by signage on the third driveway on your left after turning onto Painted Cliffs Private Road. The camp is located next to a highway so please be aware that road noise is audible. At the start of your drive to Storia Vale, there is a sharp hairpin turn in the highway as you are leaving Kelowna. If you are unfamiliar with this highway, please do pay mind to the road signage and be cautious with speed at this section of road. There is also a section of winding uphill road on the way to Big White which is best navigated with care. Traveling east from town, once you see the turn off for Big White you'll have about 7 minutes drive remaining to get to the turn off for Painted Cliffs Private Rd. Please use caution when turning onto Painted Cliffs Private Road as it is a dirt/gravel surface and will offer less traction than paved roadways. Once you have located the driveway, you will find your camp site clearly marked. Please park your vehicle in the provided driveway space closest to your site. Please also note that there are currently NO flush toilets or showers at Storia Vale. Outhouses and gravity fed potable water dispensers are the only available washroom amenities available on site. There is an outdoor dish wash station located near the solar array which is shared by all campers. Potable water can be retrieved at the wash station.

Make your stay with us unique. We know that everyone has their own ideas when it comes to how they want to travel, where they want to stay and what they want to explore. We are proud to offer a wide range of accommodation options to make your stay just right. The birth of Chute Lake started approximately a century ago. The combined population of Kelowna and Penticton was a mere 7,000, and the First World War was just wrapping up. A bustling new sawmill on the shore of Chute Lake had a crew of hardworking loggers thinking it was time to build themselves a place to sleep and eat. Raw materials certainly wouldn’t be an issue, located in the middle of a forest. The crews worked all day turning trees into logs. Soon enough those logs were being hauled from the mill and up a gentle slope to the proposed location of the new bunkhouse. A few years later, the Kettle Valley Railway would arrive, and the mill and freshly built bunkhouse would take on additional roles. It served as a water stop for the steam engines that pulled the passing trains. Enterprising mill workers would even sell some of the large fish they pulled from the lake to the dining carts. These were the formative years Chute Lake Lodge. Cabins have been added and in the 1980s, the central lodge building nearly doubled in size. The restaurant was added with lodge rooms above. The railway that ran directly in front was converted into one of the best cycling paths in the province.

Please respect nature as wildlife, flora, and dangerous terrain are part of our environment; explore at your own risk. There are hot showers and flush toilets for guest comfort but require a short walk to access. Campfires are banned but we provide propane cooking and living utensils. I loved staying at this cabin. It was private very well maintained with a new outhouse and outdoor shower. It was close to several lakes and only 5 to 10 minutes from stores if you needed anything. Darcy was super polite and there to show us everything about the cabin. The A/C was a bonus for the hot weather. My daughter loved the loft to sleep in. Like an indoor tree fort for her. We look forward to going back for another stay.

100000/10 recommend! The hosts Deb and Joe made every effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay. From thoughtful recommendations, to taking pictures for us, and even sending us over a basket of fresh garden veggies. We got engaged during our stay, something that will remain in our hearts forever. We would have it no other way!! The cottage is beautiful, well stocked, clean, and convenient for a short or longer stay as we had. The fully equipped kitchen with complimentary coffee made for a lovely touch as we are caffeine fiends. An A/C unit in the bedroom was graciously welcomed as it was peak summer heat! The property is stunning and well maintained. Lots of birds to watch while you have a coffee in the morning, from eagles to hummingbirds. Gorgeous view of the river. Speaking of, the river was clean, clear, with a slow current, all sand, and a beach on the other side of the island(easily accessible)! Truly amazing for a swim, float, and sunbathing during the hot summer weather. Many cute spots nearby in the area to grab ice cream or go on adventures. We enjoyed the Friday morning farmers market in Enderby, Margaret Falls, feeding baby cows at Farmer Johns market, and many more. Deb and Joe have cultivated the perfect paradise for a relaxing and romantic getaway as well if a slow and steady pace is your vibe (it is ours for sure!). The peace and comfort we felt during our stay was unmatched. A perfect vacation and we will absolutely be returning again.

Wow- what a magical place. We absolutely loved our stay. Very comfortable beds and we are still dreaming about the outdoor shower which has the best views. Amazing location. Nicole is also a very kind and warm lady. We will be back!

We stayed in Site # 8 and it hit the spot! The family is lovely and welcoming, the grounds are clean and maintained, close enough to amenities but far enough to feel away from everything. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved the cabin that we stayed in on Darcy and his wife's property. The cabin was perfect for small children/families. My Daughter absolutely loved the loft as well as the folding beds from the sides of the walls. So many options for sleeping arrangements. We appreciated the small air conditioner in the cabin window for the hot days. The outdoor shower was so nice after a long day. The outhouse was clean and well maintained. A note would be that you definitely need a 4x4 vehicle to get up to cabin #1 as it's a steep gravel road. Thankfully we had an SUV so it wasn't an issue. We did rent a kayak but unfortunately the weather didn't permit us to use it due to thunder and lightening. We weren't reimbursed and that would be my only qualm about this trip. Overall, we had a lovely time.

If you're looking for a place that feels more like a home than a rental, this is it! The cottage was immaculate and stocked with everything we could possibly need. It was more thoughtfully prepared than anywhere else we've booked. Little extras like bubbles and beach toys for our kids showed just how much care goes into hosting here. Deb and Joe went above and beyond, sharing homemade desserts and fresh produce straight from their garden. Their warmth made all the difference. By the end of our stay, it genuinely felt like we were visiting old friends rather than staying at a rental property. Five stars isn't enough. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Daryn was a great host and the cabin was a calm and very well kept environment. From the porch, we could see the vineyard with Okanagan lake in the backdrop. It was a wonderful experience!

My stay at this cabin was so relaxing! I could sit on that little front porch at twilight every night forever. The cabin itself is simple but lovely, I used the bed on the main floor and it was very comfortable. Being able to relax and cool off in the AC during the hottest part of the day was a lifesaver. Darcy is a great host, very friendly and professional. He came to the cabin and made sure I knew how everything worked when I arrived. There was a small issue with the shower on the first day, but he was very responsive and got it fixed up right away. The BBQ available for use is really nice and it was clean and ready to go. Having the propane included was very much appreciated. As stated in the listing, you definitely need 4 wheel drive or a higher vehicle to be able to park right at the cabin. Overall, great spot and I would recommend it!

Darcy has a great spot, close to wineries, Armstrong, Salmon Arm and Enderby. I had a restful solo trip away. The cabin is lovely, pine inside, quiet. Sitting on the porch at night is relaxing. I bbqed one night, I brought my own cutlery etc cooler. I really liked the outdoor shower, the outhouse is close. . Great biking on the country roads. Lovely hosts !
