The property hosts a valley (or vale) with Clark Creek running through it. The ridgeline above offers a stunning view of the marsh and surrounding woodlands! Wildlife abounds at Storia Vale, you may encounter critters ranging from Steller's Jays, hawks, ravens, weasels, deer, moose, bears, coyotes, squirrels... and more!
Located about 35 minutes drive outside of Kelowna on Rock Creek HWY 33. Approximately 7 minutes past the turn off to Big White Ski Resort. The address of Storia Vale is 9046 Painted Cliffs Private Road, lot #11. Both numbers are clearly marked by signage on the third driveway on your left after turning onto Painted Cliffs Private Road. The camp is located next to a highway so please be aware that road noise is audible.
At the start of your drive to Storia Vale, there is a sharp hairpin turn in the highway as you are leaving Kelowna. If you are unfamiliar with this highway, please do pay mind to the road signage and be cautious with speed at this section of road.
There is also a section of winding uphill road on the way to Big White which is best navigated with care.
Traveling east from town, once you see the turn off for Big White you'll have about 7 minutes drive remaining to get to the turn off for Painted Cliffs Private Rd.
Please use caution when turning onto Painted Cliffs Private Road as it is a dirt/gravel surface and will offer less traction than paved roadways.
Once you have located the driveway, you will find your camp site clearly marked. Please park your vehicle in the provided driveway space closest to your site.
Please also note that there are currently NO flush toilets or showers at Storia Vale. Outhouses and gravity fed potable water dispensers are the only available washroom amenities available on site.
There is an outdoor dish wash station located near the solar array which is shared by all campers. Potable water can be retrieved at the wash station.

We are excited you are coming to enjoy the Shuswap and all it has to offer. We want to make sure you have an enjoyable time at our place and want to make sure you are prepared for your stay.
Just a couple of important things to note.
1. Renters will need to bring all of your bedding including pillows. (There are coin operated laundry facilities on site)
2. You will also need to bring your own towels, there are some dish clothes and tea towels available in the park model for your use.
3. A propane tank will be available for use and there is a gas station where you can get it filled up for use of the BBQ and firepit should it run out.
4. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes and such you should need including some basic spices for cooking. There is a grocery store just a couple minutes away that can cover all of your needs including a liquor store, and a deli.
5. If you have any questions about the park or concerns with your rental please contact us directly as this is a private rental the park office will not be able to help you.
6. A separate message will be sent that shows the park rules for your Information.

Disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life and reconnect with nature in this peaceful dome located in Kaleden, BC. The dome is on 10 acres and borders 350 acres of crownland to explore. Includes a hangout area with a fire pit, patio table and chairs, solar lights, and an outdoor cooking area. There are lights and a charging station in the dome.
We also have a Spot for RV's and camper vans to park for the night.
**This is a rustic off-grid glamping experience with access by 1 km of gravel road. It only has an outhouse, outdoor heated shower, and no cell or wifi service.
Outhouse and Shower: The outhouse is conveniently located just a couple of meters behind the dome. The shower is across from the outhouse and has heated water.
Work in Progress: This is our first year open, and we're still in the process of developing the retreat. As a result, you may notice some piles of sticks and dirt.
Off-Grid Living: Please note there is no cell service or Wifi at the dome. However, you can get cell service just a short 5-minute drive down the road. Sometimes you can get spotty cell service at the dome if you stand in the right spot.

2 nights at Toy Creek Ranch Retreat
There's a magic to this place that cannot be captured in photos, and we feel so lucky to have discovered it so we could experience it for ourselves. The vast open skies and picturesque mountain vistas are stunning, and yet with all that open space around you, the space is still very private and cozy. We loved everything about our stay here. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly; we knew they were there if we needed them, but as I said we also had perfect privacy. The RV is cute beyond words with thoughtful details to make it more glamping than camping like a generous amount of drinking water with an automatic tap that was super handy, clear instructions for how to turn on the pump so we could flush the toilet (an amazing feature when glamping LOL), electricity runs to the RV so my husband was able to run his CPAP no worries, we were able to heat the RV when it got cold at night and it was toasty and comfortable inside, cute and comfy couch, adorable Bistro table, lots of extra bedding, adorable little decor touches, an astoundingly comfortable bed, different lighting options inside, convenient fridge and freezer and stove... But outside on the arena was definitely our favorite. It's one of those places you could just sit for hours Zenning out over the peace and beauty. We were sad to leave, and hope to have the chance to book this place again. 😍

3 nights at Rivers Breeze Cottage Retreat
If you're looking to kick back, be close to flowers and birds, and be in peace and quiet, then this is your place! The property is like a picture card. A very pastoral setting. Great care has obviously been taken to create a true home away from home, with all the right modern touches mixed in with the cottage decor. Loads of natural light pour through the windows, and a high ceilings, lend a sense of spaciousness. There is more than enough porch space to enjoy, with lots of outdoor seating and loads of cushions and blankets for cool nights. Of course there is also a barbeque with all of the tools, etc. You won't have to bring a thing with you, because everything from home is provided in this space; thoughtfully prepared and placed. It was fun to choose a bicycle for a ride along the trails, and a lunch visit to the nearby pub restaurant. The water at the river is very gentle, and perfect for kayaking. A fabulously, comfortable king size bed, and a sofa and chaise lounge that opens to a bed for two more people. If you want a bit of seclusion away from the rush of life, but you still want to connect with warm friendly people, this has just the right blend for you.
The hosts are wonderful, folks who are so sweet, friendly and helpful. They were always easily available and very responsive to any questions or needs, but respectful of your privacy and need for quiet, if that's what you're looking for. This property knocks it out of the park for us.

2 nights at Woodland Creek
Quick getaway for my boyfriend’s birthday. The dome exceeded our expectations . It was beautiful and well designed and thought out - small meaningful touches made it feel cozy and at home.
Location was very private and secluded which was exactly what we were looking for. The host was very responsive and quick to inform us of anything important we needed to know.
Only recommendation would be to dress incredibly warm as evening cools off and heating was limited throughout the night.
We will definitely plan to be back during the summer months.

We made a two day getaway to Salmon Arm. The Heritage Golf Course at Salmon Arm Golf Club was only a short drive away.
Cabin #2 was fairly new and super clean. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful to answer any questions. We had a campfire and the wood was provided.
We highly recommend this cabin.

Weekend Trip to Deep Creek Cabin And Tents
Darcy's place was amazing! We spent a day fishing and swimming at Gardom Lake, quick 5 minute drive away, beautiful sandy beach. The cabin was perfect, with campfire wood supplied, a grill and a picnic table. We also went to the hot tub at Darcy's place! It was all so pretty.
For those visiting, bring trash bags, kitchenware, camping stove (if needed).

Was a great experience and such a cool spot for a getaway! The outdoor kitchen is fantastic, with great ambiance and lighting at night. We loved the fire pit and the endless supply of firewood. The outdoor showers are a treat, and the bed and tent were super comfy!
I would definitely go again. It would also be a great spot for a gathering with friends or family, as they have several tents available and the outdoor space makes for a perfect gathering area.

Absolutely loved the Tipi! Set up was great, such amazing sleeps on the beds with the fresh air, propane provided to keep the chill out of the air with the propane fire pit in the middle. Absolutely clear skies to see all the stars and satellites and milky way. Got to watch a thunder storm rolling through but not hit us which was amazing. Outdoor hot tub and the outdoor shower are both amazing. Love that this option is available to just show up and not really need to bring alot but still get to camp. Make sure you have a AWD or 4WD vehicle with some clearance to get up the hill to camp site, especially if there has been any rain. If coming to the area again we will definitely be looking at it again or even trying on of the cabins!

This is genuinely one of the best experiences I've ever had. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat.
We stayed for just one night, but it left a lasting impression. The hosts are unbelievably friendly and welcoming — they even let us play with their dogs, which made the whole stay feel warm and personal. The RV spot itself is private and peaceful, a perfect escape from the noise of the city.
Everyone here was so respectful, and we even got to rent their quad bikes for some extra fun. These are genuinely good people, and it shows in everything they do.
I'm already counting down to when I can go back next time I need to get away from city life. Honestly, there are no words to describe how much I loved this place — you just have to experience it for yourself. Highly, highly recommend!

We loved Deb's cabin and her hospitality. Everything was well taken care of and there were a lot of thoughtful touches. The area was quiet and the river off their property was very calm. I would recommend this to friends and family, it was very relaxing staying here.

We had such a nice time at Nicole’s. I’d most definitely recommend this cute little haven to anyone. Was super seamless, had the most adorable kitchen to do some cooking. She had some dishes, pots and pans, plumbed in washrooms. The whole friggin deal. Also there were two cats and two dogs running around periodically and that really made the experience a home run for us. I’d stay here again, hands down. Also Nicole just had really sweet and welcoming energy, absolutely adored 🎺🐛✨💖
