Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know!
Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. We are excited you are coming to enjoy the Shuswap and all it has to offer. We want to make sure you have an enjoyable time at our place and want to make sure you are prepared for your stay.
Just a couple of important things to note.
1. Renters will need to bring all of your bedding including pillows. (There are coin operated laundry facilities on site)
2. You will also need to bring your own towels, there are some dish clothes and tea towels available in the park model for your use.
3. A propane tank will be available for use and there is a gas station where you can get it filled up for use of the BBQ and firepit should it run out.
4. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes and such you should need including some basic spices for cooking. There is a grocery store just a couple minutes away that can cover all of your needs including a liquor store, and a deli.
5. If you have any questions about the park or concerns with your rental please contact us directly as this is a private rental the park office will not be able to help you.
6. A separate message will be sent that shows the park rules for your Information.

The property hosts a valley (or vale) with Clark Creek running through it. The ridgeline above offers a stunning view of the marsh and surrounding woodlands! Wildlife abounds at Storia Vale, you may encounter critters ranging from Steller's Jays, hawks, ravens, weasels, deer, moose, bears, coyotes, squirrels... and more!
Located about 35 minutes drive outside of Kelowna on Rock Creek HWY 33. Approximately 7 minutes past the turn off to Big White Ski Resort. The address of Storia Vale is 9046 Painted Cliffs Private Road, lot #11. Both numbers are clearly marked by signage on the third driveway on your left after turning onto Painted Cliffs Private Road. The camp is located next to a highway so please be aware that road noise is audible.
At the start of your drive to Storia Vale, there is a sharp hairpin turn in the highway as you are leaving Kelowna. If you are unfamiliar with this highway, please do pay mind to the road signage and be cautious with speed at this section of road.
There is also a section of winding uphill road on the way to Big White which is best navigated with care.
Traveling east from town, once you see the turn off for Big White you'll have about 7 minutes drive remaining to get to the turn off for Painted Cliffs Private Rd.
Please use caution when turning onto Painted Cliffs Private Road as it is a dirt/gravel surface and will offer less traction than paved roadways.
Once you have located the driveway, you will find your camp site clearly marked. Please park your vehicle in the provided driveway space closest to your site.
Please also note that there are currently NO flush toilets or showers at Storia Vale. Outhouses and gravity fed potable water dispensers are the only available washroom amenities available on site.
There is an outdoor dish wash station located near the solar array which is shared by all campers. Potable water can be retrieved at the wash station.

Enjoy the outdoors at our campsite at Shuswap Lake, where you can bring your own tent or RV. Our property sits just off the main road with a view of the lake and access to the beach and forest. We have two sites that can hold up to four guests each. Pets are welcome. Nearby lakeside attractions include Shuswap Lake Marine Provincial Park and Cinnemousun Narrows Provincial Park
The property has a firepit with provided firewood, and an outhouse. The 2 fully serviced Rv's have running water, power and kitchen & bathroom facilities. Flat parking is available. For those bringing an RV, the pull-in site can accommodate up to 40 feet in length. There are no hookups, and generators are not allowed.

**This is a rustic off-grid glamping experience with access by 1 km of gravel road. It only has an outhouse, outdoor heated shower, and no cell or wifi service.
Outhouse and Shower: The outhouse is conveniently located just a couple of meters behind the dome. The shower is across from the outhouse and has heated water.
Work in Progress: This is our first year open, and we're still in the process of developing the retreat. As a result, you may notice some piles of sticks and dirt.

The birth of Chute Lake started approximately a century ago. The combined population of Kelowna and Penticton was a mere 7,000, and the First World War was just wrapping up. A bustling new sawmill on the shore of Chute Lake had a crew of hardworking loggers thinking it was time to build themselves a place to sleep and eat.
Raw materials certainly wouldn’t be an issue, located in the middle of a forest. The crews worked all day turning trees into logs. Soon enough those logs were being hauled from the mill and up a gentle slope to the proposed location of the new bunkhouse.
A few years later, the Kettle Valley Railway would arrive, and the mill and freshly built bunkhouse would take on additional roles. It served as a water stop for the steam engines that pulled the passing trains. Enterprising mill workers would even sell some of the large fish they pulled from the lake to the dining carts.
These were the formative years Chute Lake Lodge. Cabins have been added and in the 1980s, the central lodge building nearly doubled in size. The restaurant was added with lodge rooms above. The railway that ran directly in front was converted into one of the best cycling paths in the province.

My stay at this cabin was so relaxing! I could sit on that little front porch at twilight every night forever. The cabin itself is simple but lovely, I used the bed on the main floor and it was very comfortable. Being able to relax and cool off in the AC during the hottest part of the day was a lifesaver. Darcy is a great host, very friendly and professional. He came to the cabin and made sure I knew how everything worked when I arrived. There was a small issue with the shower on the first day, but he was very responsive and got it fixed up right away. The BBQ available for use is really nice and it was clean and ready to go. Having the propane included was very much appreciated. As stated in the listing, you definitely need 4 wheel drive or a higher vehicle to be able to park right at the cabin. Overall, great spot and I would recommend it!

Darcy has a great spot, close to wineries, Armstrong, Salmon Arm and Enderby. I had a restful solo trip away. The cabin is lovely, pine inside, quiet. Sitting on the porch at night is relaxing. I bbqed one night, I brought my own cutlery etc cooler. I really liked the outdoor shower, the outhouse is close. . Great biking on the country roads. Lovely hosts !

Mike and Leanne were amazing hosts—so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful throughout our stay. Our son absolutely loved the RV, and celebrating his birthday there made it even more memorable. The resort is so beautiful! Remote and quiet, I often had the whole lake to myself paddle-boarding, and at most there was one other boat. Though different than the cabin I booked,, the 2bdrm cabin they set us up in, was spacious and cosy. The gravity toilet was handy at night, though tricky to fully flush and the jug was too heavy for my mom to lift, so we used the outhouses during the day. The caretakers were really friendly and helpful, brought over a ton of wood for the cabins wood stove furnace. It wasnt too cold the second night so we didn’t use it.
The road up is great condition for a FSR! Bumpy at spots but still doable in a car. I have a 4WD wagon and my mom has a lil suv and both handled it great.
Incredibly quiet at night, lots of wild flowers, wild strawberries, chipmunks and bunnies. I also heard moose calls and pretty sure I saw a mother and calf walk past the bushes by the water.
Will definitely come back as renos are completed, I want to stay in all the cabins! Its a stunning location and a ton of potential.

If you are looking for authentic camping (with a few added comforts) this is the way to go!
The cabins are supplied with bedding, a BBQ, propane & wood burning fire pits - with free wood.
The cabins have power, but no plumbing. There is an outhouse and sink and shower dedicated to your site about 20 feet up the trail. They also have a group hot tub!
The owner is super friendly and is situated on site. He has created these phenomenal masterpieces himself.
You are higher up and get a nice view of the valley. The drive to Enderby is about 15 minutes, but there is a beautiful lake only a 5 minutes away that has amazing paths and a perfect paddle opportunity! No motorized boats allowed!

Darcy's property is great! We stayed in their tipi with our three young children, and everyone loved it!! The site was very well equipped - cedar firewood, axe and hatchet, propane BBQ, fire pit, camp chairs, picnic table. The site included it's own outhouse - it might seem a small thing, but it was nice having your own when staying as a family of five! Darcy was a good communicator, and was available to greet us and run us though the site when we arrived. The tipi itself was beautiful and set up really well with a plank floor, comfy beds for all of us, and a propane firepit in the center. We had an excellent sleep in the fresh air! We highly recommend a stay in the tipi, and we hope to return ourselves!

4 nights at Charming Creekside Caravan
We had a wonderful few days at Liana and Mike's Base Camp! It is such a beautiful and peaceful place with the best hosts you could ask for. They quickly addressed an unexpected plumbing issue and were kind and generous to us in the process. We can't wait to return!

Weekend Trip to Deep Creek Cabin And Tents
My partner and I absolutely loved our stay! This was our last stop on a long road trip and this was by far our favourite spot. The tipi area had everything we needed and the outhouse was super clean. The bed was comfy and it was so relaxing looking at the stars. The host was great and even set up the hot tub for us to enjoy. Having a shower is always such a big plus. We will definitely be back!
