We have been creating a homestead in harmony with nature over the past 11 years. We reside year round in the Post and beam straw bale home that was built in 2000. Our current project is building our “aging in place” hemp lime cottage. Once completed it is our plan to build an in ground greenhouse. Additional future plans include building for a music studio, further development of our food forest, and the offering of self development training workshops. Additional camping/rv sites will be made available in the coming years. We look forward to offering fellow nature lovers an opportunity to appreciate the benefits and peace Braeheart Nature Retreat has to share.
Whether you are seeking a more private get away or an opportunity to experience our developing homestead ideas/practices, we are devoted to meeting your desires.
We are located 2km from Harald Provincial Pk. and the world renowned Margaret Falls. Our nearest town for services, Salmon Arm, is 25km away, and is host to the annual Roots and Blues Festival. Swimming, hiking, kayaking, wine touring, and weekly farmers markets are a few of the many local activities to enjoy. Those interested in a work/ stay opportunity are welcome to contact us to collaborate. We look forward to your stay with us! New photos with upgraded amenities will be added later this spring.
Facilities on the campsite will be shared with a max. of 4 persons at any one time during the open season this year. We will be available on site, via text or in person to answer questions or meet any needs you may have. Most basic needs are provided, just bring your cooler of food and your set!

Tons of parking for trucks & trailers. Sleeps up to 5 single adults or a family of 6. An easy 35 to 45 minute commute to all the local mountains and lakes between Sicamous Lakes & Revelstoke. You will never run short of things to do. Also great during hunting season and for snowmobilers, skiers & snowboarders during winter season fun.
GUEST ACCESS
Guests can access all parts of the property except for the shop, which is off limits. Also, please remember that there is wildlife in the area. Please do not leave food outside and always keep the cabin door closed so smaller animals will not enter and make it their home.
GUEST INTERACTION
I am available by phone, text or email anytime. If it is an emergency then please call or text. There are also 2 site managers available upon request for any urgent issues that may arise and for snow removal.
CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS
There is a digital deadbolt on the front door. I will message you the code on check-in-day. To unlock the door simply enter the code and wait for the lock to open. You can manually lock the door from the inside. When leaving for the day simply close the door and press the lock symbol and the door will lock.

we had such a lovely time here! the cabin was gorgeous and well appointed and the property was stunning. the hot tub is absolutely worth it - its set up right along the river in a spot that is quiet and relaxing with just the sound of the river. we will absolutely be back!

We had an amazing stay over the New Year and absolutely loved this place. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, thoughtful, and attentive, and the tour of the guesthouse and property was a great touch.
The property is stunning and the guesthouse was larger than expected, which was a lovely surprise. The wood fireplace created the coziest vibe, but the real highlight was the wood-fired hot tub — tucked into the forest beside the rushing river, surrounded by fairy lights and total quiet. Cold dipping in the river and then warming back up in the tub was pure magic!
Meeting the horses and dogs was also a bonus, and the location is the perfect balance of feeling remote while still being close to town. We’d happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone!

They were very welcoming and made us feel right at home quickly. The guesthouse was very clean and had everything we needed for our weeklong visit.
The atmosphere is so relaxed and the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.

Better than advertise. The Kevin was new and clean. The wood stove kept us very warm and toasty. The firepit was well stocked with cedar cut offs .
Hot pool was extremely relaxing and had a great vibe.
We added a canoe to our trip and fished Gardom Lake.

Wow, what a beautiful, tranquil spot this is. The trailer has everything you need for a comfortable stay, inside and out, with several different chill out area options. The views of the lake are just gorgeous, from sunrise to sunset, and the stars at night were incredible.
Being dog friendly was the icing on the cake! Quiet dirt roads were great for walks.
I honestly should have booked for longer. Already looking forward to our next stay.

The forest bunkie was a perfect mix between hotel and camping. AC, electricity and sophisticated security all inside a beautiful cabin with bunk beds, custom wood furniture and a mini wood stove. It smelled amazing, just like the woodsy forest that surrounded it. Also, showers, toilets and laundry super close by.
Lastly and best of all, they welcomed my doggie with treats, poop bags and dishware !
I wish could have stayed longer!

We really enjoyed Darcy’s cabin. It was simple, quaint and so peaceful. The outdoor shower was awesome and the pit toilet was clean and not smelly. The supplied propane fire ring made the atmosphere cozy as there was a fire ban. The views were lovely. As Aussies, we’d remind other campers that cutlery and glassware is not supplied- but this did not take away from our experience at all!
