Come camp on a 40-acre parcel backing onto crown land mountains and wake up in front of 10 acres of vineyard and a view of Okanagan Lake!
There is a small cabin and two camp sites to choose from.
Site 1 is best suited for tents and small campervans, less than 18' or so (though people with small trailers like tear drop campers have been fine).
Site 2 has a much larger flat area that can hold RVs up to 30'.
Cabin available for those that want to sleep in a cozy bed and have a warm fire :)
Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know!
Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. Peachland is within easy reach of over 200 estate wineries and microbreweries.

The cozy cabin has a queen bed and a loft with 2 single beds. The hand painted tipi has 2 queen beds and 4 single beds. The property also features a hot tub. Outdoor hot shower and outhouse. Outside running water. Fire pit. BBQ. Hear the birds in morning. Enjoy the view at noon. Stargazing at night. We are five minutes from the Gardom lake beach. You can enjoy kayaking , canoeing, fishing, and swimming.

The birth of Chute Lake started approximately a century ago. The combined population of Kelowna and Penticton was a mere 7,000, and the First World War was just wrapping up. A bustling new sawmill on the shore of Chute Lake had a crew of hardworking loggers thinking it was time to build themselves a place to sleep and eat.
Raw materials certainly wouldn’t be an issue, located in the middle of a forest. The crews worked all day turning trees into logs. Soon enough those logs were being hauled from the mill and up a gentle slope to the proposed location of the new bunkhouse.
A few years later, the Kettle Valley Railway would arrive, and the mill and freshly built bunkhouse would take on additional roles. It served as a water stop for the steam engines that pulled the passing trains. Enterprising mill workers would even sell some of the large fish they pulled from the lake to the dining carts.
These were the formative years Chute Lake Lodge. Cabins have been added and in the 1980s, the central lodge building nearly doubled in size. The restaurant was added with lodge rooms above. The railway that ran directly in front was converted into one of the best cycling paths in the province.

The cabin was cute and cozy, with a warm indoor stove to keep the place warm. Lots of space with one mains bed and two small beds up top.
We were there in October and we had the area to ourselves which was great, but it seemed the camping spot and Teepee were quite close to the cabin.

Better than advertise. The Kevin was new and clean. The wood stove kept us very warm and toasty. The firepit was well stocked with cedar cut offs .
Hot pool was extremely relaxing and had a great vibe.
We added a canoe to our trip and fished Gardom Lake.

We really enjoyed Darcy’s cabin. It was simple, quaint and so peaceful. The outdoor shower was awesome and the pit toilet was clean and not smelly. The supplied propane fire ring made the atmosphere cozy as there was a fire ban. The views were lovely. As Aussies, we’d remind other campers that cutlery and glassware is not supplied- but this did not take away from our experience at all!

This is a special spot! So peaceful, and the perfect getaway. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, amazing coffee and a nice tea selection, and the snacks were such a treat!! The bed was quite comfortable, and we thoroughly appreciated the variety of pillows as we’ve got different firmness preferences. Early morning walks with the pup around the property while the sun rose was bliss :) We cannot wait to return!

We loved our stay! The site was quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Everything matched the photos, and the hosts really thought of all the little details. The AC worked perfectly, and they kindly provided a gas firebowl since there was a fire ban in effect. Just note that the hot tub won’t be available during fire bans, as it’s connected to the way it’s heated.
The outdoor shower was a highlight, it made the experience even more unique. One important tip: follow the driving directions exactly as provided, otherwise it’s very easy to get lost.
Overall, a wonderful spot that we’d happily return to!

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at Darcy's cabin. It was private, comfortable, and although it got cold outside at night, the cabin stayed warm without having to light the indoor wood stove. Although the trees obstructed the view, at night we were able to stargaze around the campfire. Darcy was attentive to our needs and with a small fee, delivered and picked up 2 kayaks we rented to spend the day at Gardom Lake. Would definitely return in future!

We stayed at Deep Creek Cabin as a family of five (our youngest is 1), and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin feels super private and peaceful—tucked away in the trees—but Darcy was always just a message or short walk away if we needed anything.
It’s got a rustic vibe in the best way, but still includes modern touches like lots of power outlets in the cabin, a BBQ with propane, a kettle, and even toilet paper in the nicest outhouse I’ve ever seen (which we really appreciated!). Firewood, camping chairs, and an axe were all provided, which made hanging around the fire pit easy and fun.
The outdoor shower is amazing—the hot water and great water pressure were a huge plus. Recommend bringing towels, shampoo, and shower gel. We also recommend packing a cooler for your food, kitchen gear (plates, cutlery, paper towels, etc.), bin bags, bug spray, and something to roast marshmallows with.
We rented Darcy’s kayaks and life jackets, and spent a day at Gardom Lake a 5 min drive from the cabin—super chill spot, sandy beach, lots of parking, and we basically had it to ourselves.
Overall, a great mix of comfort, nature, and quiet. We’d 100% come back. Perfect for camping novices, young families, or anyone who wants to enjoy a peaceful night in the woods—with the luxury of their own private toilet and hot shower.
