1 night at Strongwater Camping and Cabins

Don’t miss a chance to stay at this beautiful cabin and campground and the stunningly beautiful property that surrounds it! My son and I had an unforgettable adventure here. Christian was an excellent host and seems to have thought of almost everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. At twilight, fairy lights come on to illuminate the cabin, outdoor kitchen, and well manicured paths in a magical glow. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a delicious meal using the camp stove. Solar shower bags made staying clean both easy and pleasant. Christian had excellent recommendations for fun things to do with our time, including kayaking with Pedals and Paddles, and the nearby Elphinstone Archery, both unforgettable experiences. Do yourself a favor and stay here, there’s nothing that compares to this beautiful forest sanctuary on the Sunshine Coast.

This was an absolutely magical experience! We stayed in Cabin 4 and felt very comfortable. The cabin is well insulated—we could not hear any of our neighbors once we went in. All the bedding and towels smelled great, the bathrooms and showers were very well kept, and there is a lot to do nearby. We enjoyed taking out a provided canoe on Waugh Lake and ate a nice lunch at the Backeddy Pub nearby which is bayside and really lovely. All walkable which says a lot with a toddler like us! We enjoyed getting ice cream, visiting animals including ponies and geese, and looking through a library for kiddos, all on site! Of all the great parts of our stay, Cheyenne was the star. She was kind, gracious, and very easy to talk to. A good host like her makes it all! Thank you, Cheyenne and co! We will certainly be back for a longer stay. 🌞

Very cozy cottage and lovely property! Great place to stay, especially if you're looking to hike to Skookumchuck Narrows as its only a couple minutes to walk to the trail access road.

2 nights at Strongwater Camping and Cabins

Cheyenne is a beautiful soul. My best friend at I stayed in the “Loft Two” Cabin for one magical night. The hobby farm was so peaceful and designed with love. Our cabin was a little peace of heaven, washrooms were beautiful, animals were delightful and the skookumchuck bakery cafe down the street was delicious. Highly recommend walking to the skookumchuck rapids and watching the kayakers!

Cozy cabin with lots of privacy. We enjoyed sitting on the porch after our hike. Bring some loonies for the shower - we only thought of it at the last minute and we didn't find a stash of loonies in Egwater...

Weekend Trip to Tiny Secrets Farm & Retreat

Loved the A-frame cabin. Private and cute. They provided us whatever we needed; Water, ice packs, propane tank, and even extra firewood. A bit chill at nights but ok.

Weekend Trip to Tiny Secrets Farm & Retreat

We had everything we could possibly need in this quaint little cabin!! It was nice and toasty at night time. The site handyman was never far away should we need anything. Perfect “glamping” scenario!

We fully enjoyed our stay at Strongwater Campground! The cabin was clean and comfortable, and had everything we could need, including a heater, fan, and mini fridge. The campground felt safe and everyone was super friendly. The washrooms were all very clean, including showers, which required loonies to operate. We recommend doing the Skookumchuck trail (8km round trip) and visiting the Seafood food truck and the bakery! Overall, the campground was very charming and cute, and we would fully recommend a stay here.

1 night at Strongwater Camping and Cabins

Staying at Strongwater Campground and Cabins was an absolute dream! Shyann is truly one of the kindest people we’ve ever met - she made us feel so welcome and at home. We stayed in the Treehouse cabin, which was adorable and just perfect for our needs. The campground itself is peaceful, well-maintained, and has everything you could need. The amenities were clean and thoughtfully kept, and an added bonus were the sweet animals roaming around to say hello! One of their lovely dogs, Rainney, even came by to visit us while we enjoyed our evening fire - it absolutely made our night. Thank you, Shyann, for your warmth and generosity. It was such a pleasure to meet you, and we will return soon 100%!

We had a lovely weekend trip to Christians forest sanctuary. The cabin was cozy and well thought out. A great space in the trees but still close enough to town to easily go out for dinner. Looking forward to a chance to come back in the future.

Had the best time staying at a Bunkie over the May long weekend! Nairn and Paula were amazing hosts, everything was clean and well-stocked, and the location was convenient as we were riding the Cowichan Valley Trail.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay in the treehouse cabin. The treehouse is tucked away in a rainforest and makes for a very cozy vibe. The warm showers in the wash house were so lovely after a nice hike to the nearby Skookumchuck rapids. Cheyenne was easy to talk to and super friendly. The farm animals were a bonus!

Weekend Trip to Sunshine Coast Green Zone

We loved staying at the bunkhouse. The whole family is generous, kind, and welcoming. We had a cozy rainy weekend, slept amazing in the comfiest bed, played the available games, and enjoyed simple but delicious local food. The farm fresh eggs are out of this world. The property is a special, peaceful place cared for by good people. Would recommend!

We love Cheyenne’s camp site! We feel safe and passion from them and both enjoyed the wonderful time in the cabins and kayaking around the lake, and fire barbecue available at are this position! Thank you so much for the good times, me and Vasna will be coming back, See you next time 🥰

1 night at Bunkie Glamping in Cowichan Valley

We absolutely loved staying in this Bunkie and found Nairn to be very responsive and helpful. It had everything we needed and was really cosy. The washroom and kitchen were both amazing and incredibly well equipped. We had a wonderful night sitting around the campfire under the stars listening to the frogs. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I absolutely loved this cozy cabin. It had everything needed to cook and feel comfortable. I loved the big windows which made me feel immersed in the woods. The property itself is thoughtfully designed and environmentally conscious. Kito and Amos were great hosts - super communicative and welcoming. I would definitely stay again and have already recommended this place to friends.
