We run an organic cattle property and have found a few spots around our farm to share with campers and glampers. Our campsites are "Beyond the Bridge" and "Old Flat Camp". Both are on cattle paddocks and have private access to Hydes Creek. Hydes Creek is a murky sandy base creek. There's lots of logs so its not recommend to jump in, but it's beautiful to cool off in the creek on a hot day. Both campsites have access to our compost toilet, and camping shower (gas hot water). If you prefer a bit more comfort or don't have your own camping gear, you can escape the hustle and enjoy being perched up on one of the highest points on the farm (with incredible views), in our Farm Huts. Both mHuts are furnished with beds and linen with limited power. Both gave private ensuite with compost toilet, gas hot water shower and basic kitchen. Book these Huts via our farm website. At all our campsites, we welcome you to have a small fire, and cook up a BBQ. Our Farm Shop is open 24/7 to self serve and grab some organic beef sausages or steaks. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the riverbank, breathe in the fresh clean air, try a spot of fishing or sit back and enjoy some bird watching. Warm your feet by the campfire in the evenings. ​We're located 20 minutes from Nambucca Heads as well as Scotts Heads beaches, and 30 minutes from Taylors Arm. A quick trip up into the foothills will take you to some great 4WD and mountain biking tracks, or you can explore the region and visit the historical Pub With No Beer. Animals include wallabies, goannas, deer and fish as well as cattle and stock horses. Fishing is okay but it is STRICTLY catch and release ONLY. There are many places to go bushwalking, either following the river or heading up the valleys or hiking up the hills through the trees. The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away. Please note this is a working farm, so there will be cattle and stock horses on the property that may approach your campsite.

Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. Located half an hours drive Northeast of Dorrigo and 1 hour West of Coffs Harbour (via Eastern Dorrigo Way) in the beautiful Bellingen Shire, surrounded by various National Parks with 4WD tracks, crystal clear creeks, waterfalls, cascades, swimming holes and picnic areas. The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. It’s over 50m tall, more than 1000 years old, and was around long before Captain Cook reached our shores. The landscape starts in dense Sub-Tropical Rainforest opening up to lush green pastures overlooking the amazing views to the west showcasing hedge-rowed rolling hillsides and 1600m high mountain range towards Marengo. Conveniently located just off the highway, 8 km south of Macksville, NSW. Perfect for self-sufficient travellers looking for a peaceful stopover with beautiful views. This is an open paddock with no designated camp areas. There are numerous spots that are relatively flat, although some may require minor levelling. No power or water is available at the campsites. However, there is a basic toilet near our house and fresh rainwater available for refilling jerry cans if needed. A pool is available for tired travellers in need of a refreshing swim — it’s located up at our house. Fire pits are available, with a limited supply of firewood provided. Enjoy a private location that gives travellers the ultimate place to rest and take in the amazing sunsets to the west and the views of Yarriabini National Park to the east, just an 8 km drive away. We live here full-time and work from home in our fabrication workshop, so feel welcome to come up and see us if you need anything at all. Yarrawin is 680 acre cattle farm and hardwood timber plantation in the heart of the Nambucca Valley, offering scenic, secluded, private campsites with their own swimming hole and a river gravel beach on 3km of beautiful double river frontage. Camping options include riverside camps, the Shack and riverside camp and a large secluded valley. Each campsite is separate from the others, giving guests privacy and exclusive use of the swimming hole (except Chinamans Valley) at their site. All riverside sites offer a natural gravel beach entry into the water. There are no amenities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Every site has a fire pit which must be used for campfires. If you want to use your own it must be off the ground. Only sand mats or similar, NO TARPS, to be set up on the grassed areas to preserve the grass. Firewood $20/night (CASH ONLY PLEASE). Please let us know in advance if you want firewood. Beautiful drinking rain water is available in a 20lt Jerry can if required on arrival. Bird lovers can enjoy watching the various bird varieties, as well as ducks. Animals include wallabies, goannas, deer and fish as well as cattle and stock horses. Fishing is okay but it is STRICTLY catch and release ONLY. There are many places to go bushwalking, either following the river or heading up the valleys or hiking up the hills through the trees. The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away. Please note this is a working farm, so there will be cattle and stock horses on the property that may approach your campsite.

This campsite was absolute magic. The grounds were pristine and peaceful, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy nature. The river was a dream—clean, calm, and perfect for swimming. We loved sharing the space with the friendly cows and the sweetest horse, who greeted us like old friends. Our dogs were in heaven, running free and soaking up the fresh air. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe deeply, and smile a lot. We felt completely relaxed and connected to the land. Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!

Powered site 4 was amazing, perched in the top of the hill. Host Alec (Darcee was away) and caretaker Andrew were both friendly and down to earth. The views are amazing, we were lucky enough to have the property to ourselves and walk around all of the sites. We loved site 3 and 4 of the Powered site and Lake view was our favourite non-Powered site. The amenities were great, with a clean and hit shower and flushing toilet up on the hill with the Powered sites. There is a dump point at the rear of the toilet - best one I've ever used. The dam and pontoon were great to look at, but also great for a swim, our Labs loved this! The entire camping area is beautifully mowed and maintained and so green. It was a treat to watch down on the workings of the farm, with the cows going in for milking and the resting cows inquisitively popping by the fence to say hello. One day we went for a 30 min drive to Taylor's Arm for lunch at The Pub with no Beer - highly recommended. The following day we went for a 35 min drive to Nambucca Heads for lunch at The V Wall Tavern - also highly recommended. We stayed three nights and will return, this is a great hipcamp.

Camping at Tassie Bushland was very peaceful and quiet, only one lot of fellow campers there at the same time. Where we were camped it was easy to fish off the bank. Short drive to Bellingen where the shops were interesting, and the local pub served lovely food.

A truly stunning bit of Australia… We enjoyed every minute of our three night stay on the Lake View site. Amazing amenities for a Hipcamp with a dump point on site ! It was a little tricky getting our 19 foot van through, but with some skill was no issues. Very quiet and peaceful area with nothing but the sounds of ducks across the lake and a few moo’s from the cows. Host was friendly and tipped us to come back in Autumn for the best photograph opportunities. Can’t recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back.
