Yarrawin is 680 acre cattle farm and hardwood timber plantation in the heart of the Nambucca Valley, offering scenic, secluded , private campsites with their own swimming hole and a river gravel beach on 3km of beautiful double river frontage. Camping options include river side camps, the Shack and riverside camp and a large secluded valley. Each campsite is separate from the others, giving guests privacy and exclusive use of the swimming hole (except Chinamans Valley) at their site. All riverside sites offer a natural gravel beach entry into the water. There are no amenities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Every site has a fire pit which must be used for campfires. If you want to use your own it must be off the ground. Free firewood and fire pit set up for the first night, IF YOU STAY TWO NIGHTS OR MORE. Firewood $20/ night after that (CASH ONLY PLEASE), except when camping at Chinamans Valley where you collect your own free firewood for each night. Beautiful drinking rain water is available in a 20lt Jerry can if required on arrival. Bird lovers can enjoy watching the various bird varieties, as well as ducks. Animals include wallabies, goannas, deer and fish as well as cattle and stock horses. Fishing is okay but it is STRICTLY catch and release ONLY. There are many places to go bushwalking, either following the river or heading up the valleys or hiking up the hills through the trees. The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away. Please note this is a working farm, so there will be cattle and stock horses on the property that may approach your campsite.

Middle Swimming Hole
our second visit to Ian & Bobbie's amazing property, definitely wont be our last, a warm welcome on arrival with Bobbies delicious chocolate brownies and on to a perfect camping spot on the creek before being welcomed by some friendly cows and horses, with the camp fire all ready set just settle in with a beer and enjoy the peace and quite

The Swimming Hole in Spring
What a great stay we had! Our 8 Day camp on the river with our Van was awesome. Our hosts Ian and Bobbie were great. Dedicated fire pit area worked fantastic, and we camp fire cooked 80% of our meals. Relaxing, private, and lots of native and not so native animals. Thanks heaps Ian and Bobbie!

Top Flat Swimming Hole
Peace & quiet
We fell in love with Top Flat Swimming Hole the moment we arrived. Bobby gave us a welcome gift of home made chocolate brownies and Ian had our fire ready to light. Totally private site with our own beautiful swimming hole. Although we happily shared our piece of paradise with some beautiful cows , much to my delight. We will be back time & time again.

THE Swimming Hole
Far out!
Bloody hell. This property is the nicest I’ve stepped foot on in all of Australia. Kilometres of winding creek, secluded private campsites with awesome waterholes. Absolutely amazing. Bobbie and Ian are really good humans. We stayed for 3 days with our kids and puppy and had the whole place to ourselves. First day we mapped out a treasure hunt for the kids, told Bobbie and Ian about it, next day they set out a full tilt orienteering map with coordinates and give us their old skool compass to find some treasure of their own. They didn’t ask, they just did it. That’s next level hosting without even mentioning that Ian actually builds your fire starter for you so all you have to do is light it up when you arrive. Can’t wait to get back and try out another spot. Just not sure which one so might have to come back a few times. Thanks again Bobbie and Ian, your piece of country is what dreams are made of.

First Crossing Swimming Hole
Beautiful land to camp on. All the sites are great; well maintained, spacious, quiet and relaxing. Loved the cows and horses coming to say hello. Bobbies delicious brownies were such a lovely welcome gift. Very well run hipcamp.

Ian & Bobbie were lovely hosts , the creek side camping was beautiful, very peaceful & relaxing . Thanks Bobbie for delicious brownies & to Ian for prepping our firepit , very much appreciated ! The cows & horses are very friendly … such a wonderful property to have some timeout & recharge the batteries ! We will be back … Cheers Nic & Martin 🌅🔥🌸🌷
