Really enjoyed our stay on the river ! We swam, had a camp fire and just relaxed. The kids loved Teddy the dog. Lovely hosts - would definitely stay here again.

What a gem of a camp along the Nambucca River. With perfect weather, this is the place to either sit back and enjoy or use as a base to explore the area. Great hosts, prickle free grass and a very cute camp dog called Teddy. Our two dogs had a wonderful time playing with Teddy and enjoying the off leash freedom. Our only issue isnāt with the camp but being over 4.5 t we couldnāt use the Macksville bridge as itās being repaired. It was a very long detour for us. BYO everything although there is a communal tap as you come down into the main camp area. Road in is full of pot holes but given how often it floods, just drive slowly. Thank you š

Absolute corker of a spot on the river, in discussions with the crew to visit again but bring a boat for more fun out on the river. Bring crab traps and walk out to the end of the property put them in the small little creek we seen plenty of little crabs and were devastated we didnt pack our traps, very clean site and plenty of room for multiple vehicle combinations on your area. Laze around like Teddy the owners puppy who i know made the kids weekend making friends with him. Cant wait to come back 12/10
A beautiful spot on the magnificent Nambucca river, our dogs had a ball roaming free, and playing with Teddy the farm dog. Easy access to the river, which is pristine and clear. Close to Macksville where you can have a nice meal at the Star Hotel. We will definitely come back.

As per the other reviews, this is an amazing place with wonderful hosts! The property is so incredible being right on the waters edge. We have a small Takacat and used this every day to explore the Nambucca River. Mike and Lee are so generous opening their special place to campers and we are so grateful to them for having us. Apart from one other tent for one night, we had the place to ourselves so it was incredibly private. Along with the water and bird life, spectacular natural scenery, and picturesque sunsets across the water, their dog Teddy is also gorgeous! Truly a nature haven close to everything!
We had a fantastic weekend camping on the Nambucca River at Riverlea Hipcamp. Such a beautiful, peaceful spot right on the water and perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The kids loved fishing and exploring, and we really enjoyed switching off and taking in the surroundings. A great little spot that weād happily come back to. Highly recommend!
A lovely quiet place with plenty of space and a friendly dog welcome. Very relaxing and pretty overlooking the river. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful sites right on the water.Nice green open areas. Quite and peaceful. Only one thing I would comment on the driveway in from the main road needs some work.Overall we enjoyed our 3 days at Riverlea.
Beautiful place. Lots of room to move on your site. Good access to the river. Very friendly host and a lovely dog called. Teddy.

this was our second time there and did not dissapoint again, hosts are very nice, place was neat and well looked after, and is well priced. Caught a few flatheads as well which which was great, close to a few towns for easy access, including the Pub with No Beer (that has beer) Not too many campers are allowed which is great for a get away. We'll be back - thanks !

Wonderful spot right on the river. My partner and I absolutely loved this campsite. We camped overnight in our swag as a stop-over on a road trip we're doing. We had issues with our wood and the hosts kindly gave us a hand (even sharpening and lending us the splitter!) Very much appreciated. Teddy is a stellar farm dog and we loved his company! Highly recommend this hipcamp - we'll be back for sure. Thanks so much!!!
Riverlea Green really is a 'Hidden Gem'. The driveway to the residence was a bit bumpy, but then it opens up to a beautiful, lush green meadow with plenty of flat, open space, right on the banks of the Nambucca River.
It is the perfect spot for a relaxing break to rest up & recharge, as well as fishing, swimming, kayaking, boating etc.
Riverlea Green is so peaceful & private, yet only minutes from town. We'll be coming back again real soon, and bringing friends with us.
Riverlea Green is destined to become one of our 'go to', close to home getaways!
We had a wonderful night camping out right beside the Nambucca river at Riverlea. Thereās plenty of space on the mowed lawn area and itās very neat and tidy.
We highly recommend this space and will come back again.

Awesome spot right on the river, well maintained, easy access to the river, close to local towns, having access to drinking water to fill jerry can's is a bonus.

Great spot to camp right along the water. Took my working dog there and the farm dog was very good with him. Good fishing caught a couple flat head
Beautiful, quiet spot. Great spot for kids with lots of grass to run around & a swing set. Great climbing tree as well for the kids! 100% recommend.

What an amazing location right on the river. Plenty of options to choose the perfect camp sites. Will definitely be back soon.
We loved camping by rivers edge. The sites were lush grass and mowed. Teddy the owners dog came down for daily visits. There was another van but was distanced from us.

We were very impressed with the beautifully grassed riverside camping area. No one else at the camp made it feel very exclusive.
Lea and Mike were very accommodating.
Great property. Nice and flat. Very relaxing along the rivers edge. Teddy the farm dog was a highlight. He hung out with us for a few hours before heading back to the house.
āWe stayed at Riverlea Green this weekend with three families and had the best time. The river frontage was absolutely beautiful ā the water was so clear and perfect for swimming and kayaking, and the fish were definitely biting!
The kids had an amazing time, and honestly, so did the adults. The sites are clean, spacious, and well maintained, with plenty of room so it never felt crowded. Itās peaceful and quiet, yet still not too far from home, which made it an easy getaway.
Even though the weather wasnāt the best, it didnāt stop us from having a blast. Mike and Lee were fabulous hosts ā so welcoming and accommodating, which really made the whole experience even better.
Weāll definitely be back!ā

A great spot, well maintained and great access to the water. Nice hosts, good value for the price, we will go back
River Lea Green is a beautiful spot to stay. So peaceful to sit and relax by the river. Lots of space, friendly hosts and whilst weāre not really dog people, Teddy was a real gentleman and it was a delight having him keep us company.
Also really good having access to water to fill our tanks. We only stayed 2 days this time but will be back for longer next time.
