Great place to spend the night on our way back to the coast after being out west. Back dam was the perfect spot for a sunset and a campfire. Great to have firewood at the site ready to go as well.

Had a nice quiet stop over. Great little spot.
Nice quiet and secluded spot. Hosts were really welcoming and friendly. Nice fire pit and plenty of wood provided for the fire.
Lovely people, great quiet place to camp, had a great time
Quiet, relaxing and 5 minutes from town! We enjoyed our site with easy access, great sunsets and kangaroos.

Great place to stay if you want to be close to town. Was very quite and private down at the bottom dam. Fire pit and wood provided.
Stayed in our 21ft caravan with loads of space and easy to navigate through the property.
Hosts were very friendly. We met on arrival but you don't have to.

Peaceful spot. Great for one night stop while travelling.
Had a wonderful stay at the back dam. Was peaceful and quiet with lovely view of landscape and stars. Enjoyed watching the alpacas wandering about.

Vicki was an excellent host and was very accomodating. We ended up arriving a bit later than expecting and the camping sites were easy to locate, and the track in was obvious. Plenty of firewood was provided, which was lovely given the chilly nights. Would definitley stay again next we are in town :)

The property is easy to find. Vicki is a wonderful host, friendly and welcoming, provided us with plenty of firewood for the night. The spot is quiet and private, we didn’t have any problems setting our tent.

Stayed at the back dam , found a nice level spot for our 24 foot van . We stayed 4 nights and ever night was so quiet would highly recommend. We will be back.
Fantastic couple of nights at Vicki and Tim’s place. Very handy to town, yet quiet and serene. They provided fire pit and wood which was very welcome when the sun went down! Friendly welcome but not intrusive. Lovely property and cute Alpacas! Thanks!
Absolutely loved our 2 nights stay. Back Dam campsite had the best sunsets.

Nice a quiet spot with a beautiful afternoon sunset
Vicki, Tim and their family were excellent hosts! They were very accommodating and their property is just beautiful. We stayed at Front Dam and they provided us with firewood to enjoy a fire by the water and under the stars. A tranquil, relaxing spot to stop - and the farm animals made it even more enjoyable. Thanks again for having us! ☺️

Great location with lovely, informative hosts. Close enough to town, while still rural and close to Gara Gorge. A fire pit and fire wood was provided.
The location just outside Armidale was everything we hoped for. Private, overlooking the dam and adjacent paddocks. falling asleep with the frogs croaking, owls hooting and general bush noises was awesome. A pretty pale face rosella was nesting in a hollow just next to the dam. A storm rolled through, but the sunset was worth it. At sunrise with coffee in hand, we were greeted by lots of bird noises and a couple of kangaroos sparring in the adjacent paddock.

Lovely spot just outside Armidale with wonderful views out towards the national park. Great bird life too. Most importantly, Vicki, Tim and their family were fun, friendly and super helpful - fantastic hosts!

Really large space, not far from town either,good campsite even for a night to rest. Very responsive replies if you kinda not sure where to pick some spot. And they offer you some fire wood if you feel kinda bonfire middle of the night. Alpacas sightings really cool. Good experience.

Lovely campsite with lovely hosts. Was a great area with lovely animals
Bramwell was a beautiful place to stay. Vicki and Tim are excellent hosts, and made us feel very welcome. They were happy to share tips on places worth visiting on our trip. The land near the front dam was level, and very peaceful watching the full moon rise over the dam after we cooked our dinner on the outdoor fire & grill. In the morning the Alpacas came down to say hello! I highly recommend Bramwell as a stop for anyone who enjoys a tranquil setting and great hosts.
