Nestled just off the New England Highway near Moonbi, NSW, our peaceful rural property offers a relaxed and convenient camping stay. It has a well maintained gravel driveway from the main road through to the camping area, accessable for all vehicle types. We have 5 powered sites that have leveled roadbase pads for vans to park on each powered site has its own water hook up. 10 spacious unpowered sites, ideal for tents, caravans, camper trailers and motorhomes of all sizes. Wifi can be made available please discuss on arrival. As you relax you can watch our sheep grazing on the nearby fields with Larry the Llama. There are two farm cats that wonder around the farm. In the early mornings and during the evenings you can see the kangaroos and deer grazing the fields. Guests can enjoy clean toilet and shower cubicles with reliable hot water. A large communal camp kitchen is available, equipped with 2 seperate stoves, a fridge and a microwave—perfect for easy camp meals and shared evenings. All campsites are easily accessible for all vehicle types. We’re pet-friendly too, so your furry companions are welcome (leashes required). For added convenience, there is a dump point on-site. Please use environmentally friendly and septic safe tablets only when using. There is a communal fire pit with plenty of seating or room to bring your own. Wood is stacked and ready to go. Solar lights will light your way along the path from camp grounds to facilities. Private Fire pits are available for use or use your own during your stay, firewood can be supplied at an additional cost. Enjoy a cosy campfire in the evenings—perfect for cooking, relaxing and soaking up the country atmosphere. All fires must be used responsibly and in line with current fire restrictions. Stayed one night in The Glen, and I have to say it was definitely the highlight of the road trip from Tweed to Kosciusko and back. I had the pleasure of meeting one of our hosts, Sam, who went out of his way to make the night as comfortable as possible with his hospitality, ensuring we had everything we needed. Enjoy really clean toilets and hot showers for a bit of luxury on your camp or road trip. Couldn't recommend this place more 🤙🤙🤙

Poor communication on day of arrival, didn’t know if we were camped in the right area as there was no signage, no signage for amenities etc. In saying that, there is definitely a lot of potential in this camp

Perfect overnight stop on the hwy

Christie’s Land was a fantastic overnight stop for our family. The hosts were warm and welcoming, meeting us on arrival and running through everything available on the property. Our daughters immediately clicked with theirs and played together the whole time, which made setting up and packing down a breeze. The site itself was mostly level, and Site 5 has a nice outlook over the non‑powered area, which was an empty field during our stay. There was no shortage of branches for a fire, and the hosts even delivered a few larger logs to help us get it going. The camp kitchen and bathrooms were clean and modern, and having a dump point for both rubbish and the toilet cassette made life much easier. The property sits right on the highway not far from Tamworth which is super convenient for travellers, though you do hear some background traffic, it didn’t worry us. Overall, excellent value for money and a place we’d happily return to when travelling the Old English Highway again.

Awesome site. Construction is in the works at the property, with them installing showers, toilets and a camp kitchen for future hipcampers. Everything was functioning despite being in construction, and we were thrilled to be able to even have a hot shower after a week on the road. Can see the owners vision for once construction is complete. They were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. If you do have a reactive dog, just be mindful as the sheep and alpacas do pass by the fence fairly close to the camp site nearby facilities. But overall really great camp, will definitely pop back to stay again once construction is complete!

We had a great stay at The Glen, we were the only ones there so were able to choose a nice shady site and dogs loved the large open area. Host very welcoming and we appreciated the option of using the provided toilet, shower and rainwater.

Loved camping here! Owners are lovely very welcoming. Had a toilet and nice outdoor with hot water if needed, nice open areas easy access for all types of vehicles. Not far out of town will definitely stay again!!
