We camped with our two young kids for 2 nights. The scenery and rolling hills was beautiful and the walk up to the top of the hill was very nice! Such a great spot to relax and get back into nature. Thanks for having us!

Botfield Farms @ Mummulgum
A wonderful flat grassy site by the creek, hidden by trees from the road so very private. Being winter we wanted sun for our vans solar cells and to warm us during the day and there were many sunny areas as well a shady tree for summer days. Direction to the site were spot on and Tom and Katie and their family were helpful with providing wood and local advice. This Hipcamp was great value for money.

The camp site right on banks of Simpkins Creek Fresh running water, fish and yabbies. Trail walking to top of ridge, incredible views. Plenty of firewood and level freshly cut camp sites. Scenery on ten minute drive to next town breathtaking. Always felt safe with Host Tom, and locals friendly.

We loved our stay at Mummulgum!
The site is quiet and peaceful, and the creek is beautiful. We had the whole site to ourselves. The view from on top of the hill is stunning!
Tom and Katie were super responsive and came to give us a hand with our car. We would love to come back!

We had a great time albeit we picked the hottest days in August to stay 🥵 what a great place you have there we enjoyed watching the turtles 🐢 in the creek and the serenity! Just beautiful thank you for having us 😀

Our Easter weekend trip to Botfield farm was wonderful.
The site was well maintained with plenty of flat ground to choose from. It was quiet and its distance from all the craziness of the world a relief.
The kids loved the creek to roam and splash around in and we all loved the view from the hill overlooking the camp grounds.

Far enough away but still within range of Casino.
Friendly cows as well as a bonus.

We had a beautiful weekend. There were no other campers, so our camp was peaceful and serene. As this camping spot is close to home, I'm sure we will be back for a quick weekend getaway.

Grass was longish while we stayed and unfortunately the creek wasn’t flowing much to be able to cool off from the heat. The stagnant water didn’t look very inviting. Neighbours with 3 young children screaming and walking around nude and defecating on the ground with the parents then picking it up and dropping it in the bin made us cut our stay short. Would be a nice place for a winter camp.

Stayed for three nights and had a great time. Lunch at Mallanganee pub - awesome pies. Easy trip to Tabulam too. Great little creek at the cap site full of turtles and the area was well spaced out for campers. We swam in a creek just down the road and saw the odd yabby too. Very relaxing.

Really beautiful spot! A nice, large flat area by the creek and large hillside behind. Beautiful trees, wildlife and sounds.
Lovely touches of water, bins and a covered table. It was really east and enjoyable with a toddler! Highly recommend.

What a beautiful spot.
Easy booking. Fantastic directions to locate the most beautiful little camping piece of paradise.
Slashed grass and camping area, picnic table, lots shade, bin provided.
We had a wonderful stay exploring the water and watching the fish and turtle.
Will definitely be back.

Quiet paddock to park up in with a shady picnic table and a much appreciated fresh water tank. We were the only ones there but plenty of space. Seen quite a few fish and even a turtle in the little creek. Wasn't very deep but enough to cool us and the dog down during the heat of the day.
Was a bit unfortunate that there seems to be roadworks or something going on nearby so during the day there's two big water trucks starting early and coming and going all day, filling up just at the entrance to the paddock.

We stayed 2 nights and had a great time. Had the place to ourselves. Lovely quiet spot with private sites. The creek had some great little swimming holes. The walk up the track was rewarded by the views. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property

What a great trip we had at Botfield farms. Such a top spot for a relaxing and peaceful get away. Loved having the kayaks for the kids and the potable water and bins on site were super handy and very much appreciated. The walk to the top of the hill is worth it for the magic views at sunset :) Hosts were really helpful and great to deal with.. thanks for having us .. we can’t wait to come back :)

A lovely, quiet stay. Ideal for soaking up the country lifestyle with cows grazing in adjacent paddocks. Plenty of birds, and tortoises too. At dusk , some roos as well.
Tom is a great host, very friendly and approachable.
We will be coming back.

Once again our time at botfield farms was so relaxing.
Second time there but for a week this time and it was thoroughly enjoyed. Tom is great to talk to and very helpful. There is no doubt we will be back for a third visit

We enjoyed ourselves so much we extended our stay from two nights to nine nights! The creek had some carp swimming around and a turtle came to visit too. The hosts were also lovely enough to loan us their kayaks and we were in them everyday. The dogs enjoyed the creek and all the open space and nothing beats waking up to a creek view and those beautiful bird songs. They also have a big water tank there which was running low and when we asked about it they brought a full tank back the next day.

Such a nice spot! We extended our stay twice! We enjoyed kayaking the creek which had some beautiful carp swimming about and a little turtle. We parked right next to the creek and the sunsets and sunrises where like being in a magical realm. The hosts were so kind and accommodating, providing us with rain water and bins and they even let us use their kayaks. Also nice walking trail to the top of the hill leaving us with a wonderful view where our Caravan looked teeny tiny. We will be back! Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us hipcampers.

I chose this farm for peace, quietness, R&R and bird watching. I needed to unwind and just chill.
This farm was everything I could have asked for. Tom is a lovely host. I enjoyed watching the fish and got quite excited about the huge variety of birds around my camp. Even a flock of black cockatoos came to say hello. My binoculars got a great workout. I was the only one there which I was thrilled about as I didnt need to close my blinds in the motorhome at night.😉

Absolute bliss!! We were originally booked for just one night but ended up Staying for 2 nights as it was sensational!! Met Tom on arrival and very friendly, he recommend the bush walk which we did and the views were lovely!! 10/10 for location, isolation and price!
