Greg was very accommodating to us. We arrived late and he was very patient with our questions. It is a private area and would be a lot of fun with a group of camping friends. Very simple and very clean.

LITTLE BEAR RANCH
Camping near Silverwood.
This was the perfect camp spot for us. It had the essentials- toilet, potable water, and shade, plus it felt very private and was beautiful. We also appreciated how close it still was to a store, and that it was a very short drive to Silverwood, which was the reason for our stay.

LITTLE BEAR RANCH
The campsite wasn't bad! It was very cute and close to a lot of hiking trails, silver wood and a grocery store and it's all right by the state park. There was rave next door that had happened on Sunday that was noisy and loud but overall it was a pleasant experience.

LITTLE BEAR RANCH
LBR is a beautiful piece of property close to Farrugut State Park and Silverwood. We enjoyed the meadow and the shade trees. Swimming at the nearby lake was so nice. One thing to note is that there are roosters on the surrounding properties that have no sense of time and crow all night long. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Also, the neighbors on the adjacent property partied loudly into the night, again...earplugs. Great spot and really friendly and responsive host. Highly recommend!!

Peaceful and refreshing!
Greg was very communicative and accommodating. The land was quaint and private, organized and so beautiful and peaceful! We were lucky enough to be the only ones on site this time(: I think it would be equally enjoyable with other campers though as well! Being minutes drive from Farragut state park is a definite plus to this location!

Great camping near state park
We loved camping a Little Bear Ranch. Greg was a lovely host. We were in town for a disc golf tournament and he let us set up our practice basket on his property. Definitely recommend, especially if you’re planning on going to Farragut State Park. It was only a few minutes drive to the entrance of the park. Thank you, Greg! We will be back again!

Beautiful space!!!!! Having access to water and a toilet were a much appreciated bonus!!! Also, a fully fenced in space that you feel confident in leaving your belongings at while playing at Farragut (a 5 min bike ride away!!!!) was so great!!!! LBR made our weekend get away perfect!!!!!

I was looking for a quick stopover on my way to Canada and I'm so glad I picked this spot. It's a beautiful piece of land and was very quiet at night. I'd definitely come back for a longer stay. It seemed to have some nice touches (for example, the fireplace was set with kindling and wood). The gate made it feel extra safe.

LITTLE BEAR RANCH
Little Bear Ranch is a hidden gem!
We stayed at little bear ranch for memorial day weekend. This spot is a little gem! The camp site was clean including the bathroom facilities, they even provided hand sanitizer, and garbage was removed daily. The animals were awesome! We saw birds of all kinds and the turkeys free roaming and were so much fun to watch! Great fire pits and well taken care of. The sites also have fresh water provided on site. The price is very reasonable for the wonderful stay. The area is gated off so we felt super safe there and even left our belongings there out in the open for multiple days while we roamed idaho and felt super safe doing so and had no issues. Beautiful trees and sounds of nature. The ground is rugged and there were some ants and ant hills at the sites so we recommend veining bug spray. It is in nature after all and a little bug spray keeps them away. We had no issues with them. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be staying again with our family. This is a great family friendly camp spot. A gem. So glad we found it! Also, the site gave great directions and we had no issues finding it. We also had cell service but I'm sure that's variable. It is right next to faragutt state park and silverwood. Great location for a family friendly adventure! Thank you Greg and little bear ranch. This was a very memorable weekend for my husband and I.

LITTLE BEAR RANCH
Great price, close to Silverwood!
We had such a great time in this little camp area. One of our 3 kids got a bee sting, but that's the fun in camping 😆 We came for the weekend and spent most of the two days at SilverwoodThemePark.com. Little Bear Ranch is only 8 miles away (about 10 minute drive.) The camp area is about 5 minutes from the gas station for morning coffee. Campground is gated, which was a huge relief leaving our camping gear behind all day. There is a single outhouse on the site and each camping site has a picnic table and fire pit. There are approx 5 camping spots (I think) so it's very private. The price is good and fair. I would love to plan another trip next year. We saw bunnies, horses and heard coyotes at night. It was really cool. And the view of the stars is incredible out there!! I think they have a teepee you can rent also. Thanks for the stay guys!

Great camp spot for Silverwood
I am very happy that we chose Little Bear Ranch it is located very close to Silverwood. It is very quiet, heard some coyotes at night but they were far away so we weren’t worried about it. Everything was clean and we felt safe because there was a gate with a lock.

LITTLE BEAR RANCH
Great location
To be perfectly honest, in terms of camping, the property itself is just fine. Good access to bathrooms, water, etc., nice tables and firepits (although we had a fire ban in effect at the time), and friendly hosts. The property is very small though, so if you're looking to just camp in a secluded spot and hang out around your tent, this probably isn't the place for you.
The real draw is the location, which is amazing. You are literally right around the corner from Farragut State Park, which is quite large and has great swimming, boating, hiking, biking, disc golf, whatever you want to do. If you're wanting to bike the trails there, you don't even have to drive or park a car, it's that close. We spent most of the day exhausting ourselves at the park and only came back to our camp to eat and sleep.
Alternatively, Silverwood theme park is maybe a 10-15 minute drive away, making it an ideal spot to camp if you're looking at going to the park with your family, which I might consider next time we go there and save ourselves a bit of a drive. Basically, this property is a launchpad, and for that reason, I would recommend it. Just know what you're getting and plan accordingly.

Nice stay near Farragut
Nice stay near Farragut State Park. Had the place to ourselves for the night. Easy to get to. Host was very kind. Free showers inside Farragut. Very fresh drinking water on site. Yellow jackets and hornets were out pretty bad in August. Recommend.

My daughter and I stayed there for 2 nights while we were exploring the town. The hosts were very kind and very helpful. It was extremely peaceful listening to the animal sounds in the evening. Glad we stayed and would definitely stay there again.

Just what we needed
Greg’s LBR was the perfect spot for us! We were just in the area to go to Silverwood for a day and needed a place to camp for the night. So easy to find and gated so we felt safe to leave our belongings while we were gone during the day. The camp sites are well groomed with picnic tables and potable water! Would definitely camp here again with more friends.

Good basecamp
Great basecamp for Farragut State Park and other local attractions. Clean and pleasant location. A nice flat space for a tent would be the only thing that would make it better.
